Zack leans his head back on Rufus' shoulder

Rufus Shinra loosens the tentacles around Zack

Zack says, "What.... Are you gonna do?"

Zack says, "Umm...."

Rufus Shinra says, "It's rather unpleasant... but better then death or experimentation"

Zack blanches

Zack says, "I’m... highly claustrophobic dude..."

Rufus Shinra says, "well, Hojo keeps people in little tubes for long periods of time"

Zack shivers

Rufus Shinra strokes his fingers through Zack's hair

Zack says, "I don’t want either"

Rufus Shinra says, "it's the only way out without them chasing... and you can be asleep"

Zack says, "What if I wake up?"

Rufus Shinra says, "I'll make it fast"

Zack says, "But... if I get away... you’re gonna be here alone...."

Rufus Shinra shakes his head

Rufus Shinra says, "what I plan means you go home with me... Hojo will let me go home, he has to... and always does"

Zack says, "So you’re gonna tell him you’re taking me for a snack?"

Rufus Shinra says, "yes. Sounds bad... I know... but it will work"

Zack says, "Do you regularly eat people?"

Rufus Shinra sighs

Rufus Shinra says, "yes... I think it has to do with dietary needs for some reason"

Zack shudders

Rufus Shinra says, "not too often though... thankfully"

Rufus Shinra strokes Zack's hair

Rufus Shinra says, "want me to take you out of here then?"

Zack says, "yes please"

Rufus Shinra says, "ok... I'll have to render you unconscious. This might hurt a second. You ready?"

Zack says, "I guess"

Rufus Shinra stings the back of Zack's neck with one of his stinging tentacles

Zack says, "ow... hey...."

Zack feels his eyes roll back into his head then no more

Rufus Shinra gets to work on him... when Zack wakes up he's in a rather restrictive and sticky substance... but his head is uncovered and he's in a warm pool of water and in a rather strange place

Zack says, "da hell...."

Rufus Shinra is working on getting the cocoon off of Zack

Rufus Shinra says, "ah, you're awake"

Zack says, "can you get me outta this. Quick?"

Rufus Shinra says, "It's what I'm doing... the water should help"

Zack says, "How long was I out?"

Rufus Shinra says, "10 hours... normal amount"

Zack says, "Seph and Cloud are gonna get worried"

Rufus Shinra says, "They might... but it's not safe to leave yet"

Rufus Shinra breaks the casing down the side

Rufus Shinra says, "ah... much better"

Rufus Shinra helps him out... watching him get wet from the water

Zack shivers

Zack says, "That was not something I liked"

Rufus Shinra nods

Rufus Shinra says, "but at least you are safe"

Zack says, "Yeah... there’s that. Umm... do you normally run around nude?"

Rufus Shinra says, "yes... sorry if it offends you... I really don't like clothing that much"

Zack says, "Oh... no I’m not offended...."

Rufus Shinra sits down with his feet and some of the tentacles in the water

Zack says, "Is this your home?"

Rufus Shinra says, "Yes. There is some more... well you'd call normal... stuff in the next room"

Zack says, "Oh... okay... it’s a little weird in here"

Rufus Shinra stands back up and gives him a hand to help him

Zack takes Rufus' hand

Rufus Shinra leads him to the next room where there is a bed in the corner and none of that sticky stuff on the walls

Zack says, "Okay... this is a little more normal"

Rufus Shinra says, "well, for you it is. I'm more comfortable in the room we just left"

Zack says, "Yeah. I guess we sorta come from different worlds"

Rufus Shinra shrugs

Rufus Shinra says, "well, I don't remember anything before being in ShinRa... I'm not sure what happened before that"

Zack says, "When do you think I can leave?"

Rufus Shinra says, "a few days"

Zack says, "Okay... I’m a little hungry, plus my head is still a little woozy"

Rufus Shinra says, "you can lay down... I'll see what I can scare up... I do have some frozen food... but it's there for reasons you might not like"

Zack says, "um... what are those reasons?"

Zack sits down on the bed

Rufus Shinra says, "keeping my food alive"

Rufus Shinra sighs

Zack says, "Oh... uhh. Well... I’m not food... I hope"

Rufus Shinra says, "no, you're not"

Zack stretches out

Rufus Shinra says, "If you were I'd have left you cocooned"

Zack says, "Am I unappetizing?"

Rufus Shinra chuckles

Rufus Shinra says, "no, I just don't have the heart to eat you..."

Zack says, "Oh... I’m too pathetic... "

Rufus Shinra says, "nah... too cute"

Rufus Shinra flicks his hair back

Zack says, "Can you eat Cloud for me? He's too cute..."

Rufus Shinra says, "why do you want the kid eaten?"

Zack says, "Cuz.... "

Zack hears his stomach growl... and thinks of one of Sephiroth's home cooked meals

Rufus Shinra says, "you sound hungry"

Zack says, "I am.... "

Rufus Shinra says, "wait right there then... do you have any allergies?"

Zack says, "Umm... not that I know of... and even if I did I'd eat it anyway"

Rufus Shinra says, "alright"

Rufus Shinra goes into the next room and fixes something... comes back ten minutes later with a bowl of soup and hands it to Zack

Zack slowly begins to spoon it into his mouth

Rufus Shinra says, "is it ok?"

Zack says, "Its good... not as good as Seph's cooking"

Rufus Shinra says, "he cooks?"

Zack says, "Yeah... real good"

Rufus Shinra sighs a little

Rufus Shinra says, "at least you think the food is good... and not bad"

Rufus Shinra flicks his hair back and admires Zack

Zack finishes off the bowl

Rufus Shinra says, "feeling better?"

Rufus Shinra admires Zack some more

Zack says, "Yeah. A lil"

Zack looks at Rufus

Zack says, "Why you eyeing me up?"

Zack says, "Okay... well I’m a guest. When.... I go back to Seph.. and Cloud.... will you come with me?"

Rufus Shinra says, "hmmm.... why not, I don't get out much and I would like to see an Arken"

Zack says, "You'd have a little trouble getting grub..... unless you wanna eat cloud"

Rufus Shinra says, "I don't want to eat Cloud"

Zack says, "He.... he is in the way"

Rufus Shinra sighs

Rufus Shinra says, "well, Midgar and Junon are the best places for me to find food"

Zack says, "I be he'd taste real good.... young and tender... The cabin... is sorta close to Junon....."

Rufus Shinra says, "hmmm, well, young and tender are not always the best. the younger they are the more meals I need"

Zack says, "Oh..... well eat him anyway"

Rufus Shinra sighs and ruffles Zack's hair

Rufus Shinra says, "you should get some sleep... we'll talk in the morning"

Zack says, "Okay... You wore me out.. almost too much in one shot"

Zack nestles against Rufus

Rufus Shinra says, "do you really want me to sleep normal for me? I do want to hold you"

Zack says, "If you wanna hold me... its comfy..."

Rufus Shinra says, "what about me sleeping?"

Rufus Shinra says, "up on the wall of the other room... or some times in the water... depending on my mood"

Zack says, "Well... we can try your way of sleeping... how’s that?"

Rufus Shinra says, "ok"

Rufus Shinra stands up with him rapped in his tentacles. walks to the next room and climbs up on the wall. nestles in by his back, and closes his eyes. keeps Zack tightly to his chest

Zack looks at the pool and blinks a few times

Zack says, "I really hope you can hold on as good as you say you can"

Rufus Shinra says, "yes... "

Zack closes his eyes

Zack says, "This ain’t too bad"

Rufus Shinra says, "good night"

Zack says, "As long as you don’t hang me upside down"

Rufus Shinra falls into a deep sleep... still holding Zack just as tight

Zack falls asleep as well... since he’s the kinda guy who can sleep anywhere

Zack Wakes up a tad disoriented... not remembering where he is... and panics

Rufus Shinra opens an eye as he feels Zack moving

Zack says, "Agh... hey... oh....."

Rufus Shinra says, "you ok?"

Zack says, "Um.. yeah forgot where I was for a minute there"

Rufus Shinra says, "where did you think you were?"

Zack says, "I woulda expected to wake up with Seph... "

Rufus Shinra says, "ah.... in his wings?"

Zack says, "Yeah..."

Rufus Shinra says, "well.. what about my tentacles?"

Zack says, "But this is nice... in its own way"

Zack says, "They are so versatile... and strong.. I like to be held in them"

Rufus Shinra smiles as he climbs down off the wall. sets Zack on his own two feet once down
