Rufus Shinra wakes up with his tentacles wrapped around the sleeping Zack... having had the pleasure of this for the last few nights

Zack is still sleeping peacefully... having gotten used to sleeping like this quite easily

Rufus Shinra climbs down off the wall, cradling the sleeping Zack. Kisses his lover’s forehead. Brushes a stray strand of hair from Zack's eyes

Zack shifts slightly and opens his eyes a crack

Rufus Shinra smiles at Zack

Zack says, "morning"

Rufus Shinra says, "good morning"

Rufus Shinra kisses him softly and smiles

Rufus Shinra says, "how are you doing?"

Zack says, "Pretty good"

Rufus Shinra smiles

Rufus Shinra says, "good.... You slept very well"

Zack says, "Who wouldn’t... I feel so secure with you. You aren’t fuzzy but you’re still comfy"

Rufus Shinra says, "What does Fuzzy have to do with anything?"

Rufus Shinra smiles a little. Kisses Zack

Rufus Shinra says, "so, you going to tell me about the fuzzy?"

Rufus Shinra strokes his fingers through Zack's hair

Zack says, "You don’t gotta be fuzzy. Seph was fuzzy but he didn’t hold me all night long..."

Rufus Shinra says, "I thought you said he held you in his wings?"

Zack says, "When we fell asleep but he'd roll over on occasion"

Rufus Shinra says, "oh, I see... I don't role over at all"

Rufus Shinra kisses Zack's forehead

Zack says, "You hardly move... other than breathing"

Rufus Shinra says, "where would I move too?"

Zack says, "How do ya hold on to the wall?"

Rufus Shinra says, "tentacles and such. I also stick to the wall fairly well"

Zack says, "That’s cool. As long as you don’t go falling down I’m happy to sleep like that"

Rufus Shinra says, "yes... I like to sneak around that way too... I climb walls"

Zack says, "That’s cool"

Rufus Shinra smiles

Rufus Shinra says, "I remember what you said when you first met me... but that's ok... you did apologize"

Zack says, "I was a little angry"

Rufus Shinra says, "about being locked up?"

Zack says, "Since I got jumped no sooner I set foot in Midgar"

Rufus Shinra nods

Rufus Shinra says, "I don't like being locked up either. They did that to me when I was... well... young I suppose"

Zack says, "How old are you?"

Rufus Shinra says, "not sure... 20 is what I go by cause that's how long I've been with the ShinRa now"

Rufus Shinra sighs

Zack says, "I’m about 19... "

Rufus Shinra says, "I'm not all too sure of what I am and where I come from"

Zack says, "Doesn’t really matter to me"

Rufus Shinra says, "That's good"

Rufus Shinra smiles

Rufus Shinra says, "I know some mythology about the ancients though"

Zack says, "Can you tell me some of what you know?"

Rufus Shinra says, "well, there are at least 4 races that share a common ancestor. Yours, the Cetra, the Kindred, and the Arkens. The Arkens were the most distantly related... if related at all. Cetra were the closest"

Zack says, "Arkens is what Seph is right?"

Rufus Shinra nods

Rufus Shinra says, "winged ones... mythology and legend call them Angels. And they call the Kindred Vampires"

Zack says, "Vampires? The Turks... hmm"

Rufus Shinra cocks his head to one side

Rufus Shinra says, "what is it?"

Zack says, "There was always a rumor about the Turks being.... Bloodsuckers"

Rufus Shinra chuckles a little

Rufus Shinra says, "what started that one?"

Zack says, "Not sure... just they never seem to die or eat.... "

Rufus Shinra says, "well... the rumor is true.... Just don't tell anyone about it"

Zack says, "Oh really?"

Rufus Shinra says, "yeah"

Zack says, "Hmm... that’s interesting"

Rufus Shinra says, "They are some of the last of the kindred"

Zack says, "Wonder if they would eat Cloud"

Rufus Shinra says, "most of the Kindred and the Cetra were killed off 2 thousand years ago and, they would not eat him.... but they might drink his blood"

Zack says, "Kewl.. can they kill him?"

Rufus Shinra says, "Why do you want that?"

Zack says, "I’m mad at Seph"

Rufus Shinra says, "ohhhh.... so you want to get back at him?"

Zack says, "Yeah...."

Rufus Shinra says, "well, I have a way that is a little distasteful. you see, Hojo would love to get his hands on any ancient ... and Seph is an Arken"

Zack says, "No way. I ain’t handing anyone over to Hojo"

Rufus Shinra nods

Rufus Shinra says, "but you'd have some one killed?"

Zack says, "We can give Cloud to Hojo..."

Rufus Shinra says, "why?"

Zack says, "Cuz I don’t like the kid"

Rufus Shinra kisses Zack

Zack says, "I’m just mad Seph .. kinda replaced me while I was still there. Hojo have any interest in Cloud at all?"

Rufus Shinra says, "does he go for younger people? Hojo? Don't know"

Zack says, "Seph and I were kinda young when we met... only 15.. we've been together for a long time... were together...."

Rufus Shinra says, "no wonder you are upset... but, if not for the kid, would you be here now?"

Zack says, "No I wouldn’t....."

Rufus Shinra says, "so, think about that. what would you be doing right now if not for the kid?"

Zack says, "Being with Seph"

Rufus Shinra says, "doing what?"

Zack says, "Nothing really... prolly cuddling.. or talking about nothing in particular"

Rufus Shinra says, "You enjoyed that with him?"

Zack says, "Yeah.. best was his cooking"

Rufus Shinra says, "how good?"

Zack says, "Best .. better than my mom's. But you cook pretty well... I can teach you some stuff"

Rufus Shinra says, "hmmm, some times... but I mostly like dark wet places... I think I'm a cave or swamp dweller or something"

Zack says, "Well... I'll go wherever you go... but I want outta Midgar"

Rufus Shinra says, "alright. do you have any place you want to go?"

Zack says, "not really.. wherever you'd be happiest I guess"

Rufus Shinra says, "alright then... let's go"

Zack says, "There’s a big old swamp south of Midgar. if you wanna try there... just watch for giant snakes"

Rufus Shinra looks over the swamp

Rufus Shinra says, "there seems to be a nice cave over on the other side"

Zack says, "This looks like a place you might like"

Rufus Shinra says, "the cave..."

Zack looks across at the cave

Rufus Shinra says, "we'll have to cross the swamp... and I smell the danger"

Zack says, "how we gonna get across ?"

Rufus Shinra says, "running... and fighting if need be"

Zack says, "Alright"

Rufus Shinra starts across

Rufus Shinra says, "come on Zack"

Zack follows Rufus....

Rufus Shinra makes it across. watches the snake try and head for Zack

Zack says, "Eeep!!"

Rufus Shinra takes out his shotgun and shoots at the snake

Rufus Shinra says, "come on Zack!"

Zack runs... but he's kinda getting stuck in the mud

Rufus Shinra shoots at the snake some more

Zack nearly falls face first into the mud...

Zack says, "agh... I am not made to be doing this....."

Rufus Shinra goes back out and snags Zack, shooting the snake again as he drags his lover off. gets him out of the swamp

Rufus Shinra says, "are you alright?"

Zack says, "yeah... icky.. mud, But if it makes you happy... "

Rufus Shinra says, "I think I'll like the cave"

Zack says, "There’s a nice bit of dry land here between the swamp and the cave.... though... so I’m happy... I can get some sun"

Rufus Shinra smiles

Zack says, "Okay... lets check out the cave"

Rufus Shinra goes and looks around

Rufus Shinra says, "this seems perfect... it has wet places and ledges...."

Rufus Shinra smiles, letting out a soft sigh

Rufus Shinra says, "makes me wonder if there are others like me around"

Zack says, "Dunno... mebbe we should look"

Rufus Shinra looks around.... climbing up on the ledge with the long range materia

Zack looks up at Rufus

Rufus Shinra says, "come on up, the vine is climbable"

Zack grabs the vine and hoists himself up

Zack says, "Can we put in a ladder?"

Rufus Shinra smiles at Zack
