Note by Rufus Safer: This story picks 1 week after the end of FF7-Pokemon. Though I am playing Rufus as usual, Jack Diamond, who got the idea for this sequel, is playing Reno.

 

 

 

Rufus Shinra issues a scream before his thoughts snap back to place cause all there is in his world is darkness and pain. Flexes his wings, the Mako having destroyed his human form, leaving him as full Pokémon in its repair.

Reno antenna begins to absorb the Mako and his body begins to convulse as his consciousness returns, unable to feel anything but the hell he had been in before at first as he continue to glow, his form shifting and enlarging.

Rufus Shinra lets out a loud roar as he bursts forth from the Mako that had surrounded his formerly dead body.

Reno fur turn pure black as the razors and his claws merge, the other metallic parts of his body doing similar things as his eyes return from there decay though they are now a metallic Silver.

Rufus Shinra roars, lifting above the Mako with his huge red wings pumping.

Reno lets out a deafening roar as his evolution hit it's peek and his bodies elemental balance shifts to the shadows, keeping him in an almost hell-like state.

Rufus Shinra burns like fire, though it hurts his body not, just melting the ice around.

Rufus Shinra says, "[I'm... ALIVE!!]"

Reno eyes snap open, as he makes not a sound.

Rufus Shinra lets out a defining screech as he flies around.

Reno looks and as he stands, his eyes seeing through the Mako perfectly.

Rufus Shinra looks down and notes Reno still trapped down in the Mako still and breaths fire at the area.

Reno slowly pads out; his new form able to walk through any ice in the way with little problem.

Rufus Shinra says, "[Reno...]"

Reno narrows his eyes at Rufus.

Reno says, "[Rufus...]"

Rufus Shinra flies down and lands next to him on the ice, fire dimming to keep from melting it all.

Reno gazes emotionlessly at Rufus.

Rufus Shinra chuckles with laughter, spreading his wings wide, looking at Reno.

Reno seems unimpressed by Rufus.

Rufus Shinra says, "[heh heh... and you are as well...]"

Reno says, "[yes, it would seem so...]"

Rufus Shinra says, "[you look different.]"

Reno says, "[as do you...]"

Rufus Shinra looks at himself to monitor changes.

Reno says, "[hmm... red wings and scales, white underbelly and flames, more dragon like with a longer neck... I do believe you are a...]"

Rufus Shinra says, "[dragon.... hmmm... Mako has changed us both... brought us back from the dead...]"

Reno says, "[brought you back from the dead you mean, I wasn't really dead… thanks to you and Hojo...]"

Rufus Shinra says, "[you were a while though. Now, what am I?]"

Reno says, "[...a Solterran?]"

Rufus Shinra cocks his head, causing a wave in his neck.

Rufus Shinra says, "[interesting...]"

Reno says, "[but I thought only select Cetra were Solterrans?]"

Rufus Shinra says, "[I never knew my mom....]"

Reno says, "[*sighs* could you tell me what I look like?]"

Reno can feel he's different now.

Rufus Shinra cocks his head and moves his neck around so that his eyes sweep Reno.

Rufus Shinra says, "[black... silver... the metal looks to have fused into your flesh making it one. Larger then you were...]"

Reno says, "[still cat?]"

Rufus Shinra says, "[yes. Still at Cat.]"

Reno says, "[hmm, most likely a Pantheros...]"

Rufus Shinra says, "[yes....]"

Reno sighs and looks around.

Reno says, "[nice place, dark, bit foreboding...]"

Rufus Shinra says, "[I came here to evolve... and I have... even if it cost me life for a time... and Tifa's life. She didn't revive, did she?]"

Reno says, "[no, she was neither in Pokemon form or a Cetra, which you most like are.]"

Rufus Shinra says, "[I've always been strongly Pokémon... dad said I had a Mako infusion right after I was born.]"

Reno says, "[perhaps to cover for your Cetra powers...]"

Rufus Shinra says, "[perhaps.... so he never had to tell me who my mom was.]"

Reno says, "[it would explain why your stronger in Pokémon form than most...]"

Rufus Shinra says, "[I was defeated that time for I was already hurt... and Tifa... Tifa used me!!!]"

Reno says, "[you just realized that?]"

Rufus Shinra roars loud enough to cause an avalanche around them... but shoots up his body flame to melt it before it hits them.

Rufus Shinra says, "[may she rot in hell...]"

Reno says, "[you might change your mind if you knew what it was like...]"

Reno sighs.

Rufus Shinra says, "[what's it like?]"

Reno says, "[indescribable pain and torment, enough to make your father seem like a saint...]"

Rufus Shinra says, "[she deserves it after what she did....]"

Reno says, "[perhaps, it doesn't matter to me anymore...]"

Rufus Shinra flaps his large red wings and lifts up.

Rufus Shinra says, "[now, to figure out what to do next. I have no human for any more.]"

Reno stays unmoved by the displacement of air.

Rufus Shinra looks down at Reno as he flaps in the air.

Reno says, "[first things first, we'll do no good standing here...]"

Rufus Shinra says, "[you're standing, I'm flying.]"

Reno looks up in an annoyed fashion at Rufus.

Reno says, "[funny, you know what I'm talking about...}"

Rufus Shinra says, "[which is?]"

Reno says, "[we need to get moving, and we need to keep hidden as much as possible.]"

Rufus Shinra says, "[why?]"

Reno says, "[we won't be able to survive here, there is nothing.]"

Rufus Shinra says, "[Let us find a place.... and what do we eat?]"

Reno says, "[me, I think I'll go to a nice forest somewhere, you can come if you wish and I think we eat what we normally eat.]"

Rufus Shinra grins.

Rufus Shinra says, "[I crave... flesh... creatures that I can devour that are large.]"

Reno raises an eyebrow at that.

Rufus Shinra says, "[things like... people...]"

Rufus Shinra lets out a roar that sounds more like one of pleasure.

Reno says, "[they'll start hunting you down as soon as they realize.]"

Rufus Shinra says, "[realize what? It is time for me to rule over them...]"

Reno sighs.

Reno says, "[do what you wish, I don't care anymore...]"

Rufus Shinra says, "[good.]"

Reno turns and begins to head off.

Rufus Shinra flies off, starting to head toward the icicle town.

Reno crouches and uses some of his newfound powers to run at an incredible speed to make good time.

Rufus Shinra swoops down on a villager walking just outside the town.

Reno uses his powers to faze half out of existence, making him seem like nothing more than a shadow as he passes through the icicle inn town.

Rufus Shinra mutes the man's screams as he tears him to shreds, devouring everything in chunks.

Reno notices this but doesn't seem to care.

Rufus Shinra licks up the blood from the snow and from around his snout. Lifts back up from the ground and isn't seen by any of the town people as he flies silently overhead.

Reno makes his way for bone village through the mountain, which separate it from icicle inn, now being able to manage them.

Rufus Shinra flies to the shore, about where Reno now is, and lands there, dipping his head in to drink, seemingly unaffected by the salt.

Reno continues on, again paying no attention to Rufus as he arrives and waits outside the village for a ship to arrive so he can head to the mainland.

Rufus Shinra turns his head to Reno.

Rufus Shinra says, "[feed yet?]"

Reno says, "[no, I haven't fed let no decent animals in this part.]"

Rufus Shinra says, "[mmm... I fed. It was yummy.]"

Rufus Shinra licks his chops and grins.

Reno sees a ship coming into harbor.

Reno says, "[there's my ride to the mainland, goodbye Rufus.]"

Rufus Shinra folds his wings around his body and turns into flames.

Rufus Shinra says, "[see you soon Reno.]"

Reno sneaks onto the ship and settles down in a dark corner.

Rufus Shinra flaps his wings and takes off as the ship starts to move, landing on the far side of the deck where no one is.

Reno decides to take a nap and shuts his eyes.

Rufus Shinra slinks below deck, finding that though big he is very agile.

Rufus Shinra says, "[Reno...]"

Reno eyes snap open to glare at Rufus.

Reno says, "[yes?]"

Rufus Shinra settles down near by him, curling up around his body.

Reno sighs and closes his eyes again.

Rufus Shinra goes to sleep thanks to the rocking of the boat.

Reno falls asleep as well.
