Zell Dincht stands outside, his head down as he waits for the others.

Squall Leonhart wanders out of the Garden looking depressed himself.

Zell Dincht notes Squall's mood.

Zell Dincht says, "man... why you like me this morning?"

Squall Leonhart says, "Seifer is going to follow his dreams."

Zell Dincht says, "dreams?"

Squall Leonhart says, "a place he has to go a lone."

Zell Dincht says, "oh..."

Zell Dincht rubs the back of his head and sighs.

Zell Dincht says, "think we're it for the team?"

Squall Leonhart says, "I will never see him again. I don’t know."

Zell Dincht sniffles at those words.

Zell Dincht says, "Where's he going?"

Squall Leonhart says, "He is going to go be a bird."

Zell Dincht says, "pokefie?"

Squall Leonhart nod.

Zell Dincht says, "... I think Raijin's leaving too."

Zell Dincht sighs at looks at his watch.

Zell Dincht says, "Want to say three minutes and we assume we're it?"

Squall Leonhart nods.

Zell Dincht says, "but why is Seifer gonna do that?"

Squall Leonhart says, "He longs to be free."

Zell Dincht says, "Is that why he's always got a problem with authority?"

Squall Leonhart says, "yes... he is a bird."

Zell Dincht sighs.

Zell Dincht says, "not one to be cadged."

Squall Leonhart closes his eyes... unable to cry tears like he wants to.

Zell Dincht looks at his watch.

Zell Dincht says, "Want to get moving now?"

Squall Leonhart nods sadly.

Squall Leonhart says, "Before I go back and cling to Seifer... and can’t let go."

Zell Dincht walks in silence to the train, and then curls up on couch in the SeeD car.

Squall Leonhart curls up on one of the bunks in a similar fashion.

Squall Leonhart says, "If there is anyone missing... they will catch up."

Zell Dincht sniffles.

Zell Dincht says, "yeah.... oh, I'm so lonely."

Zell Dincht rocks himself a little.

Zell Dincht says, "I don't see why anyone would want to pokefie."

Squall Leonhart says, "He is already nearly there."

Zell Dincht says, "how so? I mean, I know Raijin is."

Zell Dincht sighs.

Squall Leonhart says, "He acts like a bird ... even when he is human."

Squall Leonhart says, "You... think he's going to pokefie? He flaps his arms and caws in his sleep."

Zell Dincht says, "Raijin? Yes... Seifer does that? Wow."

Squall Leonhart says, "He preens imaginary wings..."

Zell Dincht says, "Raijin couldn't shift back easily the other day... and he spends so much time as a Raichu."

Squall Leonhart says, "Does he love you?"

Zell Dincht says, "I... I don't know what he really feels. Does Seifer... you?"

Squall Leonhart says, "Yes... but... he is better off."

Zell Dincht says, "better off? Almost sounds like he died or something."

Squall Leonhart says, "He will not be Seifer anymore.... so he practically has died."

Zell Dincht says, "What will he be?"

Squall Leonhart says, "a bird. You lose your... memories when you pokefie...."

Zell Dincht says, "more so then with junctioning?"

Squall Leonhart says, "yes. Everything."

Zell Dincht says, "ouch... so if Raijin really goes off.... he'll forget me?"

Zell Dincht says, "Makes me wonder even more why anyone would want to pokefie."

Squall Leonhart says, "some do.... some don’t... it depends on whether the soul you have been imbued with...resonates with your own."

Zell Dincht says, "Soul imbued with?"

Squall Leonhart says, "As I understand it... you are merged with a soul of a Pokémon when you are given powers."

Zell Dincht says, "what?"

Squall Leonhart says, "Didn’t you ever wonder how all of a sudden you could be what you were not?"

Zell Dincht says, "no... I just knew that as a SeeD you could turn into a Pokémon and not just train them."

Squall Leonhart says, "Some people have souls that resonate... and attract the perfect soul for themselves... and when the bond is complete it is like that soul is their own."

Zell Dincht says, "then home come, even though my pokeform fits me, I don't feel that attached to it and I'm a poke maniac?"

Squall Leonhart says, "Its not the exactly right soul."

Zell Dincht frowns.

Zell Dincht says, "what is the right soul then?"

Squall Leonhart shrugs.

Zell Dincht says, "still can't believe Seifer's gonna pokefie... thought he liked being human to much."

Squall Leonhart shakes his head and curls up tighter.

Zell Dincht says, "What is it?"

Squall Leonhart says, "I can’t look back."

Zell Dincht says, "oh."

Squall Leonhart says, "Zell... there’s something you have to know... I feel it’s a necessity as we are partners."

Zell Dincht says, "what?"

Squall Leonhart says, "I’m mew."

Zell Dincht says, ".......?"

Zell Dincht looks over and blinks at him, almost from shock.

Squall Leonhart says, "Need me to prove it?"

Zell Dincht says, "um... that explains what happened the other day."

Squall Leonhart says, "Seifer.... he is human.. and I’m just a... Pokémon... he's better off."

Zell Dincht says, "but he's gonna pokefie."

Squall Leonhart says, "I cannot stay with him.... too cold."

Zell Dincht says, "oh... but you hold a human form very well, why doesn't he stay?"

Squall Leonhart says, "Cuz he's wanting to be gone."

Zell Dincht says, "to leave you?"

Squall Leonhart says, "no.. to be."

Zell Dincht says, "he's still gonna leave?"

Squall Leonhart says, "yes. He will be happier than he ever could with me."

Zell Dincht says, "cause you're always away?"

Squall Leonhart says, "ye."

Zell Dincht says, "I'm... sorry. What are you gonna do?"

Squall Leonhart says, "be sad."

Zell Dincht says, "Me too it looks like. Won't he be sad as well though?"

Squall Leonhart says, "'he will forget."

Zell Dincht says, "oh yah... then what?"

Squall Leonhart says, "but I will never forget..."

Zell Dincht says, "nor will I. unless the junctions take that away."

Squall Leonhart says, "Remember your love."

Zell Dincht sniffles.

Squall Leonhart shifts down to his mew form.. leaving his clothes on the bunk and creeps over to Zell.

Zell Dincht looks down at Squall.

Squall Leonhart makes a little whimpering sound and heaves himself up onto the couch.

Zell Dincht pats the mew on the head.

Zell Dincht says, "you gonna be ok for the mission Squall?"

Squall Leonhart says, "[yea.]"

Zell Dincht says, "good... cause you're in charge man."

Squall Leonhart says, "[I don’t want to be in charge.]"

Zell Dincht says, "Who else is there?"

Squall Leonhart says, "[you.]"

Squall Leonhart is crying in his own fashion.

Zell Dincht says, "I.. I don't know the first thing about being in charge."

Squall Leonhart whimpers.

Zell Dincht whimpers as well.

Squall Leonhart says, "[I may be rare and legendary... but I am weak.]"

Zell Dincht says, "so? Leader can send me into a battle."

Squall Leonhart says, "[I cant make decisions like that.]"

Zell Dincht says, "neither can I... let's hope who ever we have to work for can."

Zell Dincht gets up as the train comes to a stop.

Zell Dincht says, "come on... you'll need to be in human form for this."

Squall Leonhart shifts back and hastily puts his clothing on.

Zell Dincht gets up and sighs, cracking his neck before getting off the train.

Squall Leonhart follows Zell... looking rather down.

Zell Dincht goes through that stuff with Watts and winds up on the train.

Zell Dincht says, "Wake the princess? Which of us?"

Squall Leonhart shoves Zell forward.

Zell Dincht says, "no way man! You do it Squall."

Zell Dincht manages to hide in the corner.

Squall Leonhart sighs and goes to the room that was indicated.

Rinoa Heartilly is asleep on the bed, a book about Pokémon sitting on the nightstand and an Arcanine sleeping on her bed as well.

Squall Leonhart knocks on the door.

Rinoa Heartilly snores as she says "come in.”

the Arcanine takes up the whole end of her bed.

Squall Leonhart says, "wake up Miss."

Rinoa Heartilly yawns before she opens her eyes to smile at Squall.

Rinoa Heartilly says, "are you... from SeeD?"

Squall Leonhart nods.

Rinoa Heartilly squeals happily and launches into his arms.

Rinoa Heartilly says, "I'm so happy! They finally sent help."

Squall Leonhart staggers back a little... confused.

Rinoa Heartilly hugs him tightly.

Rinoa Heartilly says, "mmm.. happy! So, are you it or are there others?"

Squall Leonhart says, "just me... and another."

Rinoa Heartilly says, "It doesn't matter... I just need to know I have at least one SeeD here and I'm sure we'll win."

Squall Leonhart sighs.

Rinoa Heartilly says, "What's your name?"

Squall Leonhart says, "Squall."

Rinoa Heartilly says, "I'm Rinoa, very happy to meet you Squall."

Rinoa Heartilly shakes his hand.

Squall Leonhart says, "Umm... yeah."

Rinoa Heartilly says, "Come on then, I'll tell you my plan."

Rinoa Heartilly drags him off to the planning room.

Zell Dincht follows Rinoa and Squall in.

Squall Leonhart lets himself be drug around... to depressed to retaliate.

Rinoa Heartilly goes over the train mission in great detail.

Squall Leonhart watches boredly.

Zell Dincht watches, trying not to miss any detail.

Rinoa Heartilly says, "you two got all that?"

Zell Dincht nods.

Rinoa Heartilly says, "Squall? What about you?"

Squall Leonhart nods.

Rinoa Heartilly says, "good. Let's get ready then."

Rinoa Heartilly whistles and her Arcanine comes bounding in.

Zell Dincht blinks at the huge flaming dog.

Zell Dincht says, "Woah man...."

Rinoa Heartilly pets her Pokémon and smiles.

Squall Leonhart wishes Seifer were here so he could cuddle with him.

Rinoa Heartilly says, "don't worry, he won't hurt you. Now, time to get going."

Zell Dincht pokes Squall.

Zell Dincht says, "You heard the lady."

Squall Leonhart looks like he's in great pain from this thought.

Squall Leonhart says, "uh... yeah... okay."

Zell Dincht frowns as he notices the pain and walks out with Squall.

Zell Dincht says, "What's... with the look?"

Squall Leonhart says, "Lonely."

Zell Dincht says, "Me too man."

Zell Dincht gets on with the mission, clinging to the train.

Rinoa Heartilly walks onto the train once they have secured it and attempts to question the 'president' only to learn he's a fake.

Zell Dincht says, "a ditto? Man.. now we have to poke fight."

Squall Leonhart says, "Go to it Zell... "

Zell Dincht strips and changes to his pokeform, then rushes the ditto.

Rinoa Heartilly says, "I heard about SeeD's ability to transform into a Pokémon... this is amazing."

Zell Dincht gets annoyed when it transforms into his form.

Zell Dincht says, "[Squall! Help!]"

Squall Leonhart shifts down to mew and appraises the situation.

Rinoa Heartilly smiles at the mew.

Zell Dincht is fighting a ditto that has mimicked his form.

Rinoa Heartilly says, "how cute."

Squall Leonhart says, "[rock type.]"

Squall Leonhart shifts into an Onix... filling quite a bit of the train and uses rock throw on it.

Rinoa Heartilly says, "Wow...."

Zell Dincht watches the ditto faint and lets out a sigh of relief.

Zell Dincht says, "[you saved me man... but um.. didn't you pay attention in class?]"

Squall Leonhart says, "[what’s it matter... its dead.]"

Squall Leonhart shifts back down.

Zell Dincht says, "[alright.. alright Squall.]"

Zell Dincht wanders to his clothing and shifts back to human, slipping into them quickly.

Squall Leonhart pulls his clothes on quickly after becoming human again.

Rinoa Heartilly says, "I've always wanted to see a mew... that was great... and cute."

Rinoa Heartilly giggles as she smiles.

Zell Dincht says, "I think she likes you Squall."

Squall Leonhart says, "...."

Rinoa Heartilly smiles slightly.

Rinoa Heartilly says, "Maybe I do..."

Rinoa Heartilly gives Squall a slight wink as she goes back to her train.

Zell Dincht beams a smile at Squall and goes after Rinoa.

Squall Leonhart sighs and follows the two.

Rinoa Heartilly sits down on her bed and sighs, waiting for Squall to enter.

Zell Dincht says, "Squall, she wants to see you."

Squall Leonhart goes in to see Rinoa.

Rinoa Heartilly smiles at Squall.

Rinoa Heartilly says, "Thanks for coming."

Squall Leonhart says, "Yes ma'am?"

Rinoa Heartilly says, "You can sit down if you like."

Squall Leonhart sits down on the floor.

Rinoa Heartilly sighs softly cause she hoped he would sit on the bed.

Rinoa Heartilly says, "What's troubling you?"

Squall Leonhart says, "nothing important ma'am."

Rinoa Heartilly says, "You sure you don't want to tell me? Please... I'm Rinoa, not ma’am."

Squall Leonhart says, "Its not important really.”

Rinoa Heartilly says, "It must be if you have been distracted and upset by it."

Squall Leonhart cries... but in his own fashion... since he cant-shed tears.

Rinoa Heartilly pats Squall on the back.

Rinoa Heartilly says, "Want a rare candy? I'm a trainer and happen upon such stuff."

Squall Leonhart sniffles.

Rinoa Heartilly rubs down Squall's back.

Rinoa Heartilly says, "you can tell me what makes you sad."

Squall Leonhart says, "My love.. is gone."

Squall Leonhart puts his hands over his eyes.

Rinoa Heartilly says, "dead?"

Squall Leonhart says, "pokefied."

Rinoa Heartilly says, "pokefied?"

Rinoa Heartilly blinks at the unfamiliar term.

Squall Leonhart says, "He will forever be trapped in his Pokémon form."

Rinoa Heartilly takes a moment to assimilate the info and then nods.

Rinoa Heartilly says, "I'm… sorry."

Squall Leonhart says, "And he is a big... bird."

Rinoa Heartilly says, "bird?"

Rinoa Heartilly sighs.

Rinoa Heartilly says, "and you're a little mew... cute little thing too."

Squall Leonhart says, "Everyone thinks I am cute."

Rinoa Heartilly says, "you are."

Rinoa Heartilly smiles slightly at him.

Squall Leonhart shifts down and crawls over to Rinoa... a little distressed since nobody's touched him for nearly a full day.

Rinoa Heartilly blinks and picks the mew up into her arms and cuddles him.

Squall Leonhart snuggles down into Rinoa's arms and purrs softly.

Rinoa Heartilly says, "very cute little thing."

Rinoa Heartilly strokes his pink fur with a soft smile.

Squall Leonhart falls asleep quite quickly since he couldn’t sleep without being near someone.

Rinoa Heartilly lies down on her bed and pets the Pokémon till she falls asleep too.

Zell Dincht falls asleep unhappily since he doesn't have anyone to hold him.

Squall Leonhart dreams about Seifer.... and cries in his sleep.

Rinoa Heartilly is asleep but seems to sense that the mew is upset and pets him reassuringly.

Squall Leonhart dreams of Seifer being captured.... and jolts awake.

Rinoa Heartilly is still asleep, hands stroking the mew gently.

Squall Leonhart falls back asleep.. knowing that Seifer wouldn’t be that dumb as to let himself be caught.

Rinoa Heartilly snoozes happily, enjoying the little mew cuddled up on her.

Zell Dincht sniffles in his sleep, missing Raijin's big strong arms.

Rinoa Heartilly wakes up the next morning and stretches.

Zell Dincht is still unhappily asleep outside the room.

Squall Leonhart is curled in a tight pink ball.

Rinoa Heartilly picks up the cute mew and cuddles him.

Squall Leonhart wakes up and licks Rinoa's cheek... still sleepy and thinking she is Seifer.

Rinoa Heartilly pats the mew on the head and giggles.

Rinoa Heartilly says, "That tickles."

Squall Leonhart frowns... remembering where he is.

Rinoa Heartilly says, "do you have to go back to Garden now?"

Squall Leonhart has to shift back to human to talk in something Rinoa can understand.... so he does so... not really realizing the sight of a naked man may bother her.

Squall Leonhart says, "Do you have a contract?"

Rinoa Heartilly laughs slightly as she gets Squall onto her lap.

Rinoa Heartilly says, "Yeah, it's in my nightstand drawer."

Squall Leonhart says, "May I see it?"

Rinoa Heartilly says, "sure."

Rinoa Heartilly reaches over and hands it to him.

Squall Leonhart examines the paper.

Squall Leonhart says, "Has timber been freed from Galbadia's control?"

Rinoa Heartilly says, "Nope."

Squall Leonhart says, "then I’m stuck here."

Rinoa Heartilly grins slightly at him.

Rinoa Heartilly says, "guess I'm gonna see more of you then."

Squall Leonhart says, "not that I have anything to go back to."

Rinoa Heartilly sighs.

Rinoa Heartilly says, "well, I'm not sure what I'm gonna do with you and your friend yet. For now, let's try to relax just a little."

Rinoa Heartilly sweeps her fingers through Squall's hair and gives him a smile.

Squall Leonhart says, "I guess it can do me some good."

Rinoa Heartilly stretches and hears her back crack.

Squall Leonhart smiles vaguely.

Rinoa Heartilly smiles and hasn't let go of the naked Squall yet.

Squall Leonhart kinda doesn’t mind.... since he enjoys being held by whoever happens to pick him up.

Rinoa Heartilly says, "So, do you do anything for fun?"

Squall Leonhart says, "Sleep... and run around the Training Center."

Rinoa Heartilly says, "like to run around?"

Squall Leonhart nods.

Squall Leonhart says, "And... well my lover and I would do things."

Squall Leonhart says, "His kind lives in the frozen wastes of the north..... my kind lives in a jungle."

Rinoa Heartilly nods sadly.

Rinoa Heartilly says, "so even together you'd both have a degree of unhappiness?"

Squall Leonhart says, "Yes. he is better off... he will forget me soon."

Rinoa Heartilly says, "Forget?"

Squall Leonhart says, "You forget.. your human memories when you stay a Pokémon for too long."

Rinoa Heartilly says, "I see. Is this his choice?"

Squall Leonhart says, "I wanted him to go and be happy."

Rinoa Heartilly nods.

Rinoa Heartilly says, "but it makes you sad?"

Squall Leonhart says, "Very... sad."

Rinoa Heartilly says, "but... you sent him away it sounds like."

Rinoa Heartilly frowns and holds Squall to her.

Squall Leonhart says, "So he would be happy."

Rinoa Heartilly says, "and that doesn't make you at all happy?"

Squall Leonhart says, "no."

Rinoa Heartilly says, "why?"

Squall Leonhart says, "He would have been lonely without me on missions... and he already acted much like his pokeform."

Rinoa Heartilly says, "Is that why you sent him away?"

Squall Leonhart says, "It makes me unhappy to know I will never ball up in his arms again... or hear him tell me I’m cute."

Squall Leonhart nods.

Rinoa Heartilly says, "You're cute."

Rinoa Heartilly sighs softly.

Squall Leonhart says, "would you think Im cute as whatever I made myself?"

Rinoa Heartilly says, "yeah. You just adorable... I really don't like to see you sad. It's heart breaking."

Squall Leonhart says, "What if I turned myself into a Muk."

Rinoa Heartilly giggles.

Rinoa Heartilly says, "Then I'd have a hard time trying to cuddle you."

Squall Leonhart says, "You’re.. kinda like him."

Rinoa Heartilly says, "I am?"

Rinoa Heartilly says, "He's happy.. you can be happy too."

Rinoa Heartilly says, "cause you'll still be thinking of him. You must have loved hm a lot if you sacrificed your own happiness to let him go off and be happy."

Rinoa Heartilly smiles at Squall.

Zell Dincht wakes up and curls into a tight miserable ball.

Rinoa Heartilly snuggles with her naked Squall.

Squall Leonhart cuddles back.. not realizing the implications of this just yet.

Rinoa Heartilly says, "What you think he's doing now?"

Squall Leonhart says, "Flying... and being free."

Rinoa Heartilly says, "free... free from?"

Squall Leonhart says, "Free from everything."

Rinoa Heartilly says, "from having to do anything really?"

Squall Leonhart says, "Yes."

Rinoa Heartilly says, "Then he's probably happy."

Squall Leonhart says, "Probably very happy."

Rinoa Heartilly sighs softly.

Squall Leonhart says, "I set him free.... and since he hasn’t come for me... I suppose that means he was never mine. But he's happy."

Rinoa Heartilly says, "and if he does try and come back?"

Squall Leonhart says, "I’m not sure."

Rinoa Heartilly says, "You said you sent him away before."

Squall Leonhart says, "I don’t know if I could do it again if he came back."

Rinoa Heartilly says, "Drive him off?"

Rinoa Heartilly cocks her head to one side.

Squall Leonhart whimpers and puts his hands over his eyes.

Squall Leonhart gags for air as his sorrow washes over him in waves.

Rinoa Heartilly frowns and tries to help him best he can.

Squall Leonhart says, "I’m alone now."

Rinoa Heartilly says, "you can tell me everything and I'll listen. I'll be here for you."

Squall Leonhart sobs against Rinoa... but cant shed a single tear.

Rinoa Heartilly strokes his hair gently, holding him to her chest.

Squall Leonhart passes out on Rinoa's lap.... shifting back to his natural state.

Rinoa Heartilly lies back down and pets the mew in her lap, sighing.

Squall Leonhart still whimpers in his sleep state.
