Seifer Almasy is sitting on his bed, 6 years old, trying to read something matron gave him.

Squall Leonhart is trying to see what Seifer is reading... even though it wouldn’t make much sense to him.

Seifer Almasy frowns at the pink thing flying around him and tries to bat it away with a hand.

Squall Leonhart lands on the bed and climbs up Seifer's back... then perches on his shoulder and looks down at what Seifer has.

Seifer Almasy says, "ack! Get off you little pink puff!"

Seifer Almasy brushes him off his shoulder.

Squall Leonhart is knocked off of Seifer's shoulder... so he climbs back up him and onto his head.

Seifer Almasy says, "Grrr... why are you pestering me?"

Squall Leonhart says, "[I wanna see toooo.]"

Seifer Almasy closes his book and uses that the knock the mew off.

Squall Leonhart lands on the bed again and mewls sadly.

Seifer Almasy drops the book on the mews tail and walks out onto the beach.

Squall Leonhart squeaks and yanks his tail out from under the book... then follows Seifer.

Seifer Almasy sits in the sand, watching the waves wash up onto the beach.

Squall Leonhart sits in front of Seifer and looks up at him.

Seifer Almasy frowns at the little mew.

Seifer Almasy says, "what are you doing here pest?"

Squall Leonhart says, "[what are you looking at?]"

Squall Leonhart turns his head over his shoulder to look out at the waves.

Seifer Almasy picks up sand and starts to drop it on the mew.

Squall Leonhart shakes his head. He bounces into Seifer's lap.

Seifer Almasy says, "ack! get off!"

Seifer Almasy starts scooping sand out, to make a little hole.

Squall Leonhart curls up in Seifer's lap.

Seifer Almasy drops the little mew in the hole he made then pushes the sand over him.

Squall Leonhart is a little confused as he is buried under a pile of sand... and mewls plaintively.

Seifer Almasy walks off from the beach and back into the house.

Squall Leonhart finds it rather difficult to breathe and works on trying to get out.

Seifer Almasy lies back down on his bed, starting to read his book again.

Squall Leonhart turns himself over in the sand and starts digging in the direction he hopes is up. He pokes his head up out of the sand and looks around.

Seifer Almasy starts to forget that the mew is trapped in the sand as he is reading his book.

Squall Leonhart mews loudly.

Seifer Almasy hears the loud mewing and tries to cover his ears.

Squall Leonhart finally wiggles loose of the sand.. which may have not seemed like much sand to Seifer... but was a LOT for a tiny thing like himself. He pulls his tail out of the sand and shakes himself off... then trots off towards the house.

Seifer Almasy continues to read his book as he lies on his bed.

Squall Leonhart climbs up onto the bed and onto Seifer's chest.

Seifer Almasy says, "oh great.. it's the pink rodent again."

Squall Leonhart says, "[Why'd you do that?]"

Seifer Almasy puts his book aside and picks Squall up by the tail.

Squall Leonhart wiggles his legs.

Seifer Almasy says, "Stop mewing you little vermin."

Squall Leonhart says, "[I’m talking to you... why don’t you listen?]"

Seifer Almasy stuffs him in the pillow.

Squall Leonhart sneezes.

Seifer Almasy laughs.

Seifer Almasy says, "stay in there."

Squall Leonhart mewls.

Seifer Almasy says, "be quite you little puff."

Squall Leonhart says, "[I don’t want to be quiet... this tickles my nose...]"

Squall Leonhart sneezes again.

Seifer Almasy says, "Is mew all you can do?"

Squall Leonhart Wriggles and goes quiet.... having fallen asleep from the exertion of digging himself out earlier.

--- a year later ------

Seifer Almasy sleeps quietly on his bed, rather alone since Zell was adopted and it looks like some people want to take Quistis as well, so he feels lonely cause no one wants him.

Squall Leonhart climbs up onto Seifer's bed and noses at him.

Seifer Almasy opens his eyes.

Seifer Almasy says, "What do you want?"

Squall Leonhart says, "[where is everyone?]"

Seifer Almasy picks the mew up since he's lonely and squeezes him like a toy.

Squall Leonhart wriggles at little.... but isnt actually being hurt so he stops.

Seifer Almasy starts to fall back asleep.

Squall Leonhart cuddles against Seifer and purrs.

Seifer Almasy says, "zzzzzz."

Seifer Almasy is asleep and squeezing him to his chest.

Squall Leonhart says, "[where did the one with funny yellow hair go?]"

Squall Leonhart whimpers cuz Seifer fell asleep.

Seifer Almasy stays sleeping cause the whimpering and mewing isn't that loud.

Squall Leonhart curls up on Seifer and falls asleep as well... since his questions aren’t answered. He snores softly on Seifer's chest... fidgeting in his sleep a little.

---- after another year ----

Seifer Almasy looks up at the sky, the only one left here other then matron and Squall.

Squall Leonhart says, "[Why is everyone gone now?]"

Squall Leonhart frisks around Seifer's feet.

Seifer Almasy says, "gone? They all got adopted."

Squall Leonhart says, "['adopted?  What’s that?]"

Seifer Almasy says, "When they take you and give you a home."

Seifer Almasy sighs.

Seifer Almasy says, "no one wants me..."

Squall Leonhart says, "[nobody wants me either then....   I’m not gone.]"

Seifer Almasy huggles the mew.

Seifer Almasy says, "I'm lonely."

Seifer Almasy sniffles.

Squall Leonhart says, "[maybe nobody wants you cuz of me?]"

Seifer Almasy says, "What do you mean?"

Squall Leonhart says, "[cuz they see you talking to an animal and think you are weird.]"

Seifer Almasy pats him on the head.

Seifer Almasy says, "Why would they think I'm weird? Matron talks to you too."

Squall Leonhart says, "[cuz I’m just an animal to them...]"

Seifer Almasy says, "You're a Pokémon."

Seifer Almasy watches the sky.

Squall Leonhart says, "[I’m still an animal… whatcha looking at?]"

Seifer Almasy says, "just the stars... and the sky. It's pretty."

Squall Leonhart says, "[it is pretty... too bad you cant fly...]"

Seifer Almasy says, "What would it be like to be up there?"

Seifer Almasy nods sadly.

Squall Leonhart says, "[It’s cold up there....]"

Seifer Almasy says, "to fly would be nice... I wonder what all this looks like from up there."

Squall Leonhart says, "[I’m too little to carry you... too bad.]"

Seifer Almasy says, "I know."

Seifer Almasy lies out on his back and sighs.

Squall Leonhart curls up on Seifer's chest.

Seifer Almasy gently strokes the fur of the mew on his chest.

Squall Leonhart purrs.

Seifer Almasy says, "I wonder what will happen."

Squall Leonhart says, "[I dunno.. but you’re my favorite thing in the whole world.]"

Seifer Almasy says, "I am?"

Seifer Almasy strokes his fur some more.

Squall Leonhart says, "[yes.. my favorite people.]"

Seifer Almasy says, "aw... I'm quite fond of you too mewy."

Squall Leonhart says, "[I need a name.. peoples have names...]"

Seifer Almasy shrugs.

Seifer Almasy says, "Mew is good."

Squall Leonhart says, "[I’m called by what I say... shall I call you blah blah then?]"

Seifer Almasy says, "blah??"

Seifer Almasy laughs.

Seifer Almasy says, "You know I'm called Seifer."

Squall Leonhart says, "[how bout yak yak.]"

Seifer Almasy says, "Ask matron."

Squall Leonhart says, "[Matron calls me that so I suppose that is what I am.... Mew.]"

Seifer Almasy picks the mew up by his tail.

Seifer Almasy says, "yeah, cute little pink puffy thing."

Squall Leonhart wiggles his legs.

Squall Leonhart says, "[you know... that is rather uncomfortable....]"

Seifer Almasy drops him softly back to his chest and cuddles him.

Seifer Almasy says, "sorry."

Squall Leonhart says, "[why don’t you have a tail?]"

Seifer Almasy says, "Humans don't have tails."

Squall Leonhart says, "[why?]"

Seifer Almasy says, "I don't know."

Seifer Almasy pats Squall on the head.

Squall Leonhart says, "[you should have a tail.]"

Seifer Almasy says, "maybe."
