<Gabriel> Lina rubs her hands together and prepares to pry an artifact loose from its pedestal.... eyes shining with glee

<Sanosuke> Xellos had left saying a big war was brewing and he was needed to be by his master.

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis watched her. "Is that safe?"

<Gabriel> "I cast a detection spell on it.... doesnt seem trapped... " Lina says

<Sanosuke> "Alright."

<Sanosuke> Gourry was watching like the blond airhead he was.

<Gabriel> "Watch yourself just in case it is... anyway...." Lina says... and puts her hands on the item.... tugging it loose

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis stepped back and blinked, the artifact starting to glow.

<Gabriel> "Ahh... see no pro...." Lina is cut off as the glow spreads from the artifact from her body... encasing her in crystal before she can take another step

<Gabriel> ^from the artifact to her body

<Sanosuke> "LINA!!!!" Was the last thing she heard before the encasing was complete....

<Sanosuke> 1000 years later..........

<Gabriel> The spell that ensnared lina has weakend to a point to which it crumbles.... shattering the crystal and spilling a very confused Lina to the floor

<Sanosuke> The entire place was quiet, and it was like it had just happend.. the scream of "LINA!!!" still echoing in her ears.

<Gabriel> Lina focuses her eyes... and looks around "Gourry..... Zel?" but there is no answer.... save the echo of her voice

<Sanosuke> It looked as if a statue was sitting in meditation posture a little ways away.

<Gabriel> "What the heck happened.... " Lina asks herself... standing up and brushing crystal shard from her clothing

<Gabriel> ^shards

<Sanosuke> The 'statue'

<Sanosuke> started to move... dust and cobwebs falling off.

<Gabriel> "Lighting" Lina mutters.... since the place is dark and she cant see too well

<Sanosuke> The 'statue' stood up, more dust of long accumlation falling off him.

<Gabriel> Lina draws away from the statue "Damn... what the hell is that?"

<Sanosuke> "L..l--in..a?" Came a voice that didn't seem to have been used in a long time.

<Gabriel> "Lina blinks .... Zel?"

<Sanosuke> The 'statue' moved around and hugged her shakily. "I... th-o..u-gh..t y.ou..'d n-e..ver... w-a..ke"

<Gabriel> "Zel... what happened?" Lina asks... trying to dust him off "All I remember is my name being yelled..."

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis seemed to be crying, holding her. "b-ee..n ss..oo... l-o..ng"

<Gabriel> "Long.. how long?"

<Sanosuke> "O-ne.... Th-ou..sa..nd... y-ea...rs..."

<Gabriel> "a..... a thousand... years" Lina says... swaying on her feet slightly

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis was still holding her so she couldn't fall.

<Gabriel> "Everyone... I know is gone then.... save for you...." ~That means no Luna......~

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis sniffled, nodding his head. "Soo... l..oonng... ago."

<Gabriel> "How come ... you stayed here?"

<Sanosuke> "Noth..ing el.se to do..."

<Gabriel> "oh.. " Lina frowns... "Well.... why dont we get out of this shrine... and see what the outside world looks like...."

<Sanosuke> "I.. havn't.. left.. in. a while.... but... hundreds... of.. years.. ago... the.. gods... and Mazoku... pretty much... wiped eachother.. out."

<Gabriel> "Well.. the worlds probably a better off place without them...."

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis nodded slowly as he got used to walking again.

<Gabriel> "And ... you know.... I am really hungry...."

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis managed to smile. "I've... soo.. missed.. you."

<Gabriel> "Sorry to say I dont know if I missed you or not... its like.... It just happened.... there was no concept of time for me.... but Im glad to be back...."

<Sanosuke> "Better.. that... way." Zelgadis winced at the light as they left the cave he had been in for so long.

<Gabriel> "Hmm..."

<Gabriel> Lina blinks at the sunlight

<Sanosuke> "I think.. there's.. a town.. near."

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis told her.

<Gabriel> "Okay... lets head there then.... It doesnt look much different..."

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis stumbled into town, getting stared at.

<Gabriel> "Whats with all the weird looks..... and.... this place... the buildings are funny..."

<Sanosuke> "They're looking at me... and it's what happens after a long time with no gods or mazoku...."

<Gabriel> "Do you think they still know magic?"

<Sanosuke> "Yes... but... Sorceress's are almost unheard of since the sealing after the war... magic has changed... only I and very few others that are ancient can use it how it was..."

<Gabriel> "So we've got an advantage... if we need it////'

<Gabriel> "And we probably will... we're going to have to dine and dash.... no money..."

<Sanosuke> "Most people think sorceress's are evil... and most are from what I know..."

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis walked towards the local pub.

<Gabriel> Lina follows him.... looking around quietly... taking in the odd things she sees

<Sanosuke> There was a trio at one table... a blonde in white... a large dark skinned man... and a pale girl with one eye and silver hair.

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis sat them down at the table next to the trio since it was the only one open.

<Gabriel> "Geez... I think I might need a change of costume.... and you need a more concealing one... the looks we've been getting... " Lina says under her breath

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis pulled at his hood as the blonde man at the other table turned his head to look at them.

<Gabriel> "I have never felt so uncomfortable in my life..... " Lina mutters

<Sanosuke> A waiter came by their table and asked what they needed.

<Gabriel> Lina turns the menu upside down for a moment.... unable to read the strange words "Umm... I'll have whatever the special is..."

<Sanosuke> The waiter nodded and walked off.

<Sanosuke> The blonde at the table was still watching her as his large compainion was eating everything in site.

<Gabriel> "Zel can you read this? The text is funny to me..."

<Gabriel> Lina shoves the Menu at him

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis took the menu. "Why not just order it all?"

<Gabriel> "I dont want to call any more attention to myself than I have to.... and I really wish that guy with the scar would stop... staring..."

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis blinked and noticed them for the first time. "Maybe he likes you?"

<Gabriel> "Oh please...."

<Sanosuke> The blonde looked at his large compainon and bapped him on the head for something he said.

<Gabriel> "So... whatever happened to Gourry?" Lina asks quietly

<Sanosuke> "He got married.... eventually... and had kids... then later died..." Zelgadis sighed. "Same as Amelia...."

<Gabriel> "how long did they hang around?"

<Sanosuke> "We tried for ten long years... after that i told them to get on with their lives and I'd keep trying.. they were sad but.. well... it was best for them."

<Gabriel> "I feel terrible... about... how stupid I was..."

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis sighed. "It's in the past..."

<Gabriel> "yes... but I knew it was trapped.... I just figured the magic was too old to do anything..."

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis sighed. "Oh, I see..." He ordered some coffee.

<Gabriel> "My stupid greed....."

<Gabriel> Lina puts her head in her hands

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis rubbed her back.

<Sanosuke> "It's the past lina..."

<Gabriel> "I know... but I cant help... it only seems like yesterday..."

<Sanosuke> "I know... better for you... that way."

<Gabriel> Lina nods weakly

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis drank his coffee when it came.

<Sanosuke> The blonde laughed at something his large compainion said.

<Gabriel> Lina digs in as usual when the food arives.... finding that it tastes pretty good

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis was happy she was back... wondering what they were gonna do next.

<Gabriel> When Lina is finished she sighs "Time to devise a gameplan..."

<Sanosuke> "Yes... what shall we do?"

<Gabriel> "Like how do we get out of here without paying..."

<Sanosuke> The door darkned and someone crashed through a few tables.

<Gabriel> "perfect... a diversion...." Lina says and stands gracefully

<Sanosuke> The blonde and his two compainons jumped up from their seating, drawing weapons. The door was blocked for Lina and Zelgadis though.

<Gabriel> "Zel... as soon as I get that door clear... make a break for it"

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis nodded as the trio engaged those blocking the door.

<Gabriel> "Damnit... those idiots are getting in the way.... " Lina fumes....

<Sanosuke> The blonde had some sort of sword and swiped it into one of the men, and a sound like a small explosion sounded from it.,

<Gabriel> Lina jumps.... because Guns... while present werent a chosen weapon back in her time

<Sanosuke> The large one had a baton and was banging away on the enemy with it. The blonde was laughing all through the fight.

<Gabriel> "Okay... this is getting on my nerves... " Lina says... knowing she could finish this in one spell

<Gabriel> Lina steps towards the fighting... preparing a digger bolt

<Sanosuke> The blonde cut through the enemy and stepped back as she cast the spell.

<Gabriel> "Digger bolt!!!" Lina shouts.... the spell arching foreward and catching anyone in its path

<Sanosuke> Everyone stared at her in shock.

<Sanosuke> "Now that's more like it!" The blonde yelled and shouted, "FIRE!" AS flames errupted from his palm and sailed into what was left of the enemy.

<Gabriel> Lina blinks...

<Gabriel> "Well... thanks for clearing the exit the rest of the way....."

<Sanosuke> The waiters quickly asked all 5 of them to leave.

<Sanosuke> The blonde chuckled as they walked outside. "Yeah.. but gunblades are more fun."

<Gabriel> "Gunblade?" Lina asks curiously

<Sanosuke> The blonde patted his black blade. "This."

<Gabriel> "Oh... never seen one"

<Sanosuke> "Ah. Where you from any way?"

<Gabriel> "Um.... not around here....."

<Sanosuke> Seifer shrugged. "My name's Seifer Almasy... and you are?"

<Gabriel> "Lina Inverse... "

<Sanosuke> "What you got with you? A gaurdien force?"

<Gabriel> "Guardian.... Force?"

<Gabriel> Lina blinks

<Sanosuke> Seifer blinked. "You don't.. know what one is?"

<Gabriel> "Nope... "

<Sanosuke> "About a thousand years ago... they came out of the chaotic gods/mosters war... which wiped out both sides and nearly killed everything else with it..."

<Gabriel> "oh.. I missed out on a lot of stuff.... ne Zel?"

<Sanosuke> Zel nodded. "A great deal Lina..."

<Sanosuke> Seifer's large compainon started rubbing his head and got a look that Gourry used to have.

<Gabriel> Lin"So... whats this place called?" Lina asks Seifer

<Sanosuke> "This place? You mean the town? It's Balamb."

<Gabriel> "Okay.... umm... hmm...."

<Sanosuke> "What exactly are you? I've never heard of the spell you cast before."

<Gabriel> "Im ... a sorceress..." Lina says slowly

<Sanosuke> "REally? Cool. I'm a sorceress knight.. though, retired after I wound up working for an evil one and lost it all..." He sighed.

<Gabriel> "I suspect they arent too common in this world?"

<Sanosuke> "No... and the only good one I've known is..." he shuttered, "My exgirlfriend... Rinoa. She got her powers from my matron who I wanted to gaurd but an evil sorceress from the future took over her body..."

<Gabriel> "well thats good then.... " Lina says.... a mischevious glint in her eyes

<Sanosuke> the big guy stopped walking, so did the pale girl. "We're going home now, yah know." He said.

<Sanosuke> "Ok Raijin," Seifer told him, "Talk to you two later.

<Sanosuke> "

<Gabriel> "That guy remind you of someone Zel?" Lina whispers to him

<Sanosuke> "Which one?" Zel asked.

<Sanosuke> Seifer waved to his friends and stayed walking with Lina.

<Gabriel> "The big guy.... the dumb one..."

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis nodded. "I wouldn't be shocked..."

<Gabriel> "Well... at least Gourry found someone to make him happy..."

<Sanosuke> "And Amelia... and I think Filia settled down too..."

<Gabriel> "Yeesh... I guess I gotta settle down eventually so I dont look dumb.."

<Sanosuke> "If you want.. and can find someone."

<Sanosuke> Seifer looked at them. "Where you two heading?"

<Gabriel> "We dont really know...."

<Sanosuke> "Then I might as well show you two around." He grinned.

<Gabriel> "You know any place we could stay... for.... um.... free?"

<Sanosuke> "Sure. Come on." Seifer headed off toward one of the buildings.

<Gabriel> Lina follows him... hoping she isnt being led somewhere dangerous... used to thinking that way

<Sanosuke> Seifer walked into the building, and into a room he opened with a key. "Here we go."

<Gabriel> "wow.. much different than what Im used to...." Lina says.... "it has a carpet..."

<Sanosuke> "Carpet? Just where are you from?" He sat down in a chair.

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis whispered to Lina, "Why not tell him?"

<Gabriel> "Let me come clean with you... Im from right around this area.... 1000 years ago"

<Sanosuke> He blinked. "Before the war of Chaos?"

<Gabriel> Lina nods

<Sanosuke> "So, you're a time traveler or something?"

<Gabriel> "no.... I got trapped in a guard spell.... "

<Sanosuke> "I see.... so you don't know what happend?"

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis went looking for coffee.

<Gabriel> "My friend and I are lost...."

<Gabriel> "Care to fill me in?"

<Sanosuke> "I can tell you about it if you want... I love to read so I learned all about ancient history."

<Sanosuke> Seifer grinned.

<Gabriel> "Go for it then..."

<Sanosuke> "About a thousand years ago The race of gods and the race of powerful monsters went to war again.. the last war for them.... they fought until they had wiped eachother out... The gfs were born of the power given off.. or

<Sanosuke> perhaps it was merging between the two sides.. no one is sure... but it also changed the nature of magic..."

<Gabriel> Lina nods.... absorbing this ~That means no more Xellos... no more Mazoku....~

<Sanosuke> "Magic is stored with the help of junctioned gfs...."

<Sanosuke> he continued.

<Gabriel> "So.... " Lina intterupts "Humans can only use magic now if they have one of those things.... to let them?"

<Sanosuke> "For the most part... yes."

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis started drinking some coffee.

<Gabriel> "Hmm... do you have... a thing 'junctioned?"

<Sanosuke> "No..." He said softly... "Some can.. well... a few of us, who were orphaned by the sorceress war... can do it without junctions. Me for fire only.. Selphie can cast anything as a limit... Quistis has blue magic for a li

<Sanosuke> "And Fujin and Raijin my best friends had wind and lightning respectivily."

<Gabriel> Lina nods "Now... what is a limit?"

<Sanosuke> "Basicly.. what you can do when you get really mad or hurt."

<Gabriel> "So thier magic isnt available at all times like mine.... thats a little inconvenient..."

<Sanosuke> "Correct." He nodded and tapped the bed. "You might want to check the other islands for more info... I keep hearing rummers about another who came from before the chaos war."

<Gabriel> "Another?"

<Sanosuke> "It's a rummor that there's some crazy priest living on one of the islands.... talking about the days before the chaos war."

<Gabriel> "Crazy.... priest... " Lina says... twitching slightly

<Gabriel> ~Calm down.. he said the Mazoku whiped themselves out along with the gods... its probably not him....~

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis looked at her too, thinking the same thing almost. "You don't think... do you?"

<Sanosuke> Seifer blinked at them.

<Gabriel> "No... he said the Mazoku are all gone... probably just some. random priest...."

<Gabriel> "We'll check it out anyway...... to be sure though..."

<Sanosuke> "Mazoku? What are they?" Seifer asked.

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis nodded and stood up.

<Gabriel> "Mazoku.... the deamons you speak abut in the war.... "

<Sanosuke> Seifer nodded. "Going to check up on this 'priest'?"

<Gabriel> "yes... do you think.... you might be able to .... guide us?"

<Sanosuke> "I don't know where he is but sure. It will be very very dangerous... I've heard most people who go to try and find him never come back."

<Gabriel> "Oh... I'll come back.... "

<Gabriel> "Nothings gotten me yet..... not Shabby or any of his generals..."

<Sanosuke> "Let's go now." Seifer stood up.

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis looked at Lina.

<Gabriel> "Alright.... I guess I dont need much rest after sleeping or whatever I did for a thousand years...."

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis nodded. "Same for me."

<Sanosuke> "I'll get a boat." Seifer told them and departed.

<Gabriel> "This is great..... but what are we going to do if it is Xellos?"

<Sanosuke> "

<Sanosuke> "I have no idea..." Zelgadis told her. "What do you think?"

<Gabriel> "toast marshmallows over an open fire and speak of days gone by?"

<Sanosuke> "Why not?"

<Gabriel> "Heck... I'd be happy to see him I think..."

<Sanosuke> Seifer came back and waved them on to the boat.

<Sanosuke> "What if he's gone nuts?" Zelgadis asked, following Seifer.

<Gabriel> "You know... Zel... bad things always happen to us on boats......"

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis nodded. "I know... let's hope this time is different."

<Gabriel> "If he's nuts... well then thats a problem... but Im sure we can handle him..."

<Sanosuke> Seifer showed them the boat and got on, getting to the controls.

<Gabriel> "Wheres the sail...?" Lina asks Seifer

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis nodded. "We always have... but, you know we had Gourry and Amelia with us."

<Sanosuke> "Sail? This is a power boat." Seifer explained.

<Gabriel> "Power boat?"

<Sanosuke> Seifer turned it on and speeded off to the other islands with them. "This..."

<Gabriel> "ack!! Lina says and topples to the deck... unprepared for that

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis steadied himself and watched everything speed by.

<Gabriel> "Wow... this is faster than flying..."

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis sighed. "Tell me about it."

<Sanosuke> Seifer sped through and around islands, approuching one with an ancient structure.

<Gabriel> "That looks like a place Xel would hang out at.... " Lina says.... eyeing the structure

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis nodded and was nearly flung over as Seifer landed the boat. "This is the place."

<Gabriel> "You wanna stay back here at the boat Seifer...? Since you cant sling magic....."

<Sanosuke> Seifer got off the boat. "Sure. I'll stay here."

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis walked with Lina towards the structure.

<Gabriel> "be on guard Zel...." Lina says... but knows the Chimera knows better than to let it fall

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis was already looking around as they entered the structure.

<Gabriel> "Seems pretty quiet...."

<Sanosuke> The walls shook, spilling frogs out everywhere at their feet.

<Gabriel> "Eck!! Frogs...... did it have to be frogs?"

<Sanosuke> "Um... what about the wolves?" Zelgadis pointed as a few charged them from amid the frogs.

<Gabriel> "Crud.... I dont have time to play games.... FIREBALL!" Lina shouts her spell at the wolves

<Sanosuke> The wimper as the smoke and run off.

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis picked a frog off his arm and went back to walking.

<Gabriel> "Alright .... that pretty much confirms that it is Xellos.... " Lina says and dislodges a frog from her hair

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis nodded. "If anyone could have lived through the chaos.. it would have been him."

<Sanosuke> They continued to walk.. up to the audience chamber.

<Gabriel> "Alrigght... come out ht.... come out come out!!"

<Sanosuke> With that she felt someone hugging her and yelling "LINA! LINA! LINA!!!!!!!!"

<Gabriel> "Xel.. Xellos... cant breathe....."

<Sanosuke> Xellos let up, still exclaiming "Lina! Lina! How I miss you!"

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis sweetdropped...

<Gabriel> Lina coughs a second and looks at Zel

<Sanosuke> Xellos giggled and kissed her cheeks.

<Gabriel> Lina backs up a step.... "Ano...."

<Sanosuke> Xellos's eyes stayed closed and he twirled his staff. "My powers are for Lina alone... prove you are the one and maybe win a prize! Care for some tea?"

<Gabriel> "Oh dear... Zel... get barrier spells ready.... "

<Sanosuke> Xellos spun his staff and cups of tea appeard in everyone's hand.

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis glanced at Lina, blinking.

<Gabriel> Lina looks at Zel ... and makes the "he's crazy" gesture

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis nodded. "Well.. they did call him.. the crazy priest..."

<Sanosuke> Xellos floated up. "Ah, it's been so long since anyone has come... since I last saw Lina.... last I saw.. before the death of my master... the death of my race... the death of all... " He giggled.

<Gabriel> "Is it a good or a bad thing that he survived.... ?"

<Sanosuke> Zegladis shrugged. "I'm not sure..."

<Sanosuke> Xellos landed down before her, putting his arms around her again, breathing in her face.

<Gabriel> "eh! Xellos... knock it off...."

<Sanosuke> "Eh? Knock what off?" He hit his staff over his head.

<Gabriel> Lina puts her hand on her head and sighs "This is going to be fun...."

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis nodded, his eyes on Xellos.

<Sanosuke> Xellos whistled and giggled to himself. "My master long gone.. oh woe is me... my race is dead too.. merged with our enimies.. all that is left is me!"

<Gabriel> Lina pats him on the head.... trying to make him calm down

<Sanosuke> Xellos maked a purring sound and leaned his head to her chest. "You certainly have the chest to be my Lina dear.. long gone is she..."

<Gabriel> "Xel... wake up... it is Lina..." she says... bristling slightly about the breasts comment

<Sanosuke> "But I do wake... I never dream... never sleep..." Xellos wrapped his arms around her again, this time his hand touching her rear.

<Gabriel> Lina gently removes the hand from her rear.. refraining from beating the crap out of him because he's nuts

<Sanosuke> Xellos fell down at her feet before jumping back up again and waggling his finger. "That wasn't very nice girly girl."

<Gabriel> "Zel... any ideas?"

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis shrugged. "I don't know... it looks as if he's completely lost it."

<Gabriel> "Then I would suppose it safest to leave him here... specially since he's not like a pet or anything we can control...."

<Sanosuke> Xellos put his arms around her. "Don't leave me again Lina.. don

<Gabriel> Lina sighs "We can always set up base here.... I have my ideas for this world.... "

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis nodded. "What about the guy out front?

<Gabriel> "He said he was a sorceresses knight.... he may be of use...."

<Sanosuke> "Alright then. Shall I tell him to come in while you deal with.. um... the loony priest?"

<Gabriel> "Yeah.... but tell him to be on guard... since Looney boy might do somethin stupid...."

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis nodded and departed as Xellos picked under Lina's cape.

<Gabriel> Lina sighs "well you always were a little nutso when I knew you..... this cant be too much worse"

<Sanosuke> Xellos huggled her again. "Lina Lina... the last sorceress are you? The last true one at any rate.. the only one worthy, yes."

<Gabriel> "Worthy?"

<Sanosuke> Xellos got out from under her cape and nodded, smiling wide. "Yep yep!"

<Gabriel> "worthy of what?"

<Sanosuke> "Of me! What else? I am the last... the last who can grant you your magic."

<Gabriel> "But I already have my magic..."

<Sanosuke> Xellos laughed lightly. "What you have comes from me." He patted her on the head.

<Gabriel> Lina blinks "Has it always been that way.... or just now that magic is sealed?"

<Sanosuke> Xellos blinked and tapped the side of his head with his staff. "Oh no... just I am the last... so the only one that your power now comes from."

<Gabriel> "Hmm... well then we have to keep you safe..."

<Sanosuke> Xellos smiled. "Always safe.. I surrived the death of my race. And Why? Master wanted to fight alone against her lover and they both died... leaving me all alone."

<Gabriel> "Well... youre not alone now..... Zel and I somehow survived the years.."

<Sanosuke> "Ah, but then again, we are always alone.. are we not? Inside.. alone..." Xellos tapped his head with his staff again, grinning.

<Gabriel> "True.... you poor crazy thing..."

<Sanosuke> "Crazy is a state of mind.. and an opionion, is it not? So who's to say that you are not the crazy one and I not the sane?"

<Gabriel> "But usually the majority goes ... unless the whole world is crazy and youre the only sane one/..."

<Sanosuke> Xellos pounced her suddenly. "Lina, really Lina... I don't belive it still."

<Sanosuke> Xellos giggled and licked her nose before standing up.

<Gabriel> Lina makes a face and rubs her nose

<Sanosuke> Xellos giggled. "Ah Lina, so do I miss having you around. So short were you in my life but so long in my heart."

<Gabriel> Lina blinks ~oh boy... he had the hots for me or something?~

<Sanosuke> Xellos pat her on the head and sat down on a passing wolf.

<Gabriel> "I take it..... this must have been the Beastmasters lair.... ?"

<Sanosuke> "Perhaps once.... but she died long ago.,.. my master by her lovers hand and her killing her lover... long ago during the war of chaos.. only I lived for my master didn't want me to fight her lover... and she died."

<Gabriel> "Lover?"

<Sanosuke> Xellos nodded. "Yes.. a knight from the other side.. sad to fight eachother but died to eachother... I watched..."

<Gabriel> "Its hard to believe... the entirety of the world I knew is gone...."

<Sanosuke> "So changed.. so different... and I am alone."

<Gabriel> "Cheer up a little... Xel..."

<Gabriel> Lina pats Xel on the head distractedly and wonders where Zel has gotten to

<Gabriel> Squall walks up the beach towards Seifer's boat... having parked his a bit away in case of problems

<Sanosuke> Seifer was still standing there, waiting for Lina and the others to come back.

<Gabriel> "Seifer.... " Squall growls from a few yards away

<Sanosuke> Sefier glanced at Squall, wearing sunglasses and smirking. "What yah want?"

<Gabriel> "You know you arent allowed to leave Balamb island...."

<Sanosuke> "Come now, I was doing a job for some.. interesting people."

<Gabriel> "This is where that insane priest guy lives... isnt it?"

<Sanosuke> Seifer grinned and nodded. "Yah, they seemed very interested in meeting the insane dude so I just had to take em."

<Gabriel> "You just murdered some people then.... you know he kills anyone that enters...."

<Sanosuke> "Oh come on.. if I thought that, would I be staying out here?"

<Gabriel> "I think thats why you would stay out here....."

<Sanosuke> "And why's that Squall?

<Gabriel> "Take thier money... they get killed... and you go home safe and sound...."

<Sanosuke> Seifer chuckled. "Boy, you really think low of me, don't you?"

<Gabriel> "What else is there to think...... youre in big trouble.... "

<Sanosuke> There came a throat clearing from the entrance to the tower.

<Gabriel> Squall looks

<Gabriel> "Who the heck is that?"

<Sanosuke> Some strange... man? creature? with blue skin that looked full of rocks stood there, his arms folded. "My name is Zelgadis..."

<Gabriel> "What .... is that some freaky GF?"

<Sanosuke> "No... I'm not a GF..." Zelgadis walked toward them, "Now, what is this all about?"

<Gabriel> "You... survived going in there?"

<Sanosuke> "Yes. You looked shocked..."

<Gabriel> "Nobody.... surivives the looney...."

<Gabriel> "We're not even sure... whats in there...."

<Sanosuke> "An old friend of mine.. actually... and the last of his kind..."

<Gabriel> "you.... youre from before.... the Chaos?"

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis nodded slowly. "For a thousand years I stood watch over where my good friend Lina was sealed... she was released resently as if no time had passed for her."

<Gabriel> Squall frowns... "are either of you magic users?"

<Sanosuke> "Yes. I'm a shaman and she's the last true sorceress..."

<Gabriel> "A sorceress..... a nd.... you .... Seifer Im sure you knew that......"

<Sanosuke> Seifer grinned at Squall and nodded. "Yep. Couldn't pass up my chance for knighthood again, now could I?"

<Gabriel> "I want you to return to balamb.... now.... I will take these people to garden for evaluation...."

<Sanosuke> Seifer humphed. "And if I say no?"

<Gabriel> "Then youre in even deeper trouble..."

<Sanosuke> Seifer grumbled. "fine..." He got back in his boat and went off.

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis blinked at Squall. "I guess I should take you to Lina then..."

<Gabriel> Squall nods

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis waved him on as he walked back into the structore.

<Gabriel> Squall follows Zel

<Sanosuke> He arrived on a scene of frogs raining and a laughing guy with a staff, purple hair, and closed eyes trying to dance with a strangly dressed red-head.

<Gabriel> "Oh god... what is this?"

<Sanosuke> Xellos dropped Lina and went over to Squall, taking his hand. "Ah, Luna's kin... welcome!"

<Gabriel> "Luna's kin?" Squall and Lina say simultaneously

<Sanosuke> "Before the war she decided since she was going to die that she had to have a child so she had one just before the fight and left him with the father."

<Gabriel> "Wow... Luna had time away from her job to have a kid..."

<Sanosuke> "Ah yes... of course.. after all this time... her clan is still strong..." Xellos kissed Squall's cheeks before walking back over to Lina.

<Gabriel> Squall blinks.... and growls "What is that guy's problem?"

<Sanosuke> "He's insane...." Zelgadis sighed. "He's the insane priest..."

<Gabriel> "Poor Xelly-kun" Lina says and pats him

<Sanosuke> Xellos put his arms around her and purred, laying his head on her chest again.

<Gabriel> "If you are a sorceress.... Im going to have to ask you to allow your powers to be sealed...."

<Sanosuke> Xellos started to laugh. "Ah, but you don't know.. she's not that sort of sorceress.. she's a true sorceress.. no gfs, no stocked magic..."

<Gabriel> "Then we're going to have to find a way to seal her..... its too dangerous"

<Sanosuke> Xellos walked away from Lina and too Squall, his eyes flashed open and his grin darkned to pure evil. "Oh, I can't let you do that..."

<Gabriel> Squall blinks and backs away

<Sanosuke> Xellos grinned more and moved his hands in a way that he was about to cast a very nasty spell.

<Gabriel> "Xel!! No..... !!" Lina says and grabs him

<Sanosuke> Xellos blinked, his eyes closing again. "Oh? What is it?"

<Gabriel> "Dont... Look you.... just go away.... and stay away.... we dont want any problems...."

<Sanosuke> "Me?" Xellos asked, "But this is my place!" He didn't seem to relize who Lina was adressing./

<Gabriel> "Xel... shh... not you..."

<Sanosuke> "Oh? Then Luna's kin are you refuring?"

<Gabriel> "Yes... go on... get... or I will turn Xel loose..."

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis looked at Squall. "Better listen to her... Xellos was very powerful long ago.. I bet he's more so now."

<Gabriel> Squall growls... "Fine... but cause any trouble for me...."

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis sighed and sat down, not wanting to be involved in this.

<Gabriel> Squall turns and leaves... already formulating plans

<Sanosuke> Xellos waved. "Come back again and have some tea!"

<Gabriel> "Silly Xel..." Lina mutters

<Sanosuke> Xellos handed her a cup of tea. "Drink up."

<Gabriel> Lina sighs and sniffs the tea.... then takes a sip "What do we do now?"

<Gabriel> "That.... guy was awful uptight..... and what happened to Seifer?"

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis folded his arms. "We wait.. and I heard he's going to be punished for leaving Balamb... Squall was accusing him of trying to set us up."

<Gabriel> "Hey... thats not nice... lets go grab him... we can use a guide to this world.... ne?"

<Sanosuke> "Seifer already left the island.. we have no way off now."

<Gabriel> "Well.... theres always Ray wing..."

<Sanosuke> Xellos smiled. "Perhaps i should check up on them my friends."

<Sanosuke> Seifer got back just momments before Squall... and didn't notice as the brunett spotted him.

<Gabriel> Squall stalks over to Seifer

<Sanosuke> Seifer paused when he heard someone coming and looked over his shoulder.

<Gabriel> "Seifer..... Im escorting you to Garden .... lets go..."

<Sanosuke> "Why?" Seifer glared at him.

<Gabriel> "You were consorting with a sorceress"

<Sanosuke> "So? Arn't you dating one?" He glared.

<Gabriel> "She's different... she isnt evil...":

<Sanosuke> "So? You didn't talk to Lina, did you?"

<Sanosuke> "You surface judger!" Seifer growled and spun on him.

<Gabriel> Squall smacks Seifer "Sorceresses are dangerous... you stay the heck away"

<Sanosuke> Seifer smacked him back. "God damn it Squall! you are such and asshole!"

<Gabriel> Squall grabs Seifer's wrists... "Youre coming back to garden... Im putting you into a holding cell until I get this resolved"

<Sanosuke> Seifer pulled away and twisted as if he was about to dash off.

<Sanosuke> Seifer growled and continued on with Squall, thinking of what he would do to him in the reverse.

<Gabriel> "Last thing I need is another Fiasco with you and a sorceress"

<Sanosuke> "Like that was my fault that matron got taken over by an evil sorceress??"

<Gabriel> "I dont care... you kept going along with it like the mentally deficient ape you are...."

<Sanosuke> "Tis true..." Came a voice, "He has a great deal of dragon blood in him."

<Sanosuke> That insane priest from the tower was floating in the air near by, twirlig his staff. "Perhaps, perhaps not..."

<Sanosuke> He waved. "Hello my friend. Ready for some tea now?"

<Gabriel> "I dont want any tea... I Want you to take your little sorceress friend and put her back in whatever little hole she crawled out of..."

<Sanosuke> "That is not very nice of you..." He jumped before Squall and opened his eyes, grinning evilly.

<Gabriel> Squall takes a step back....

<Sanosuke> Seifer wiggled out of Squall's grip again as Xellos put a hand out, a ball of dark energy forming in it.

<Gabriel> Squall takes another step back.... having never seen this type of magic before

<Sanosuke> Xellos closed his eyes again and smiled, bouncing the enegry in his hand as if he was about to juggle.

<Gabriel> "What do you want?" Squall says.... still backing away

<Sanosuke> "Want? Your threatning my only link to my tattered passed... the last true sorceress.. the only one I'd ever grant my power to."

<Gabriel> "She is threatening the peace this world has found since the last Sorceress was defeated...."

<Sanosuke> "Then why would she threatin peace?" Xellos bashed his head with his staff trying to think.

<Sanosuke> Xellos chuckled. "Ah but she gets all her power from me!" He tossed the globe up into the air and it started to rain frogs.

<Gabriel> "She gets all of her power from you? Then she's not a true sorceress.... she jucnnctions you..."

<Sanosuke> Xellos started to laugh. "I'm not a junction my friend... I am the last of the Mazoku."

<Sanosuke> "Bozo?" Xellos asked, tossing a frog at him.

<Gabriel> Squall bats the frog away "You got yourself involved... I dont want you going near that island again...."

<Sanosuke> "Whatever..." Seifer hissed.

<Gabriel> "And you.... mr... whatever your name is.... you stay the heck on that island and dont let yourself or your girlfriend ..... or her pet rock come near Balamb again"

<Sanosuke> Xellos moved over to Squall and quickly wrapped his arms around him. "Ah, but then where would I go?"

<Sanosuke> "She's not my girlfriend!" Seifer insisted.

<Sanosuke> Xellos giggled. "Stay, go.. which do you mean dear boy?"

<Gabriel> "You go.... Seifer stay.... "

<Sanosuke> "Ohh.... Alright." Xellos vanished.

<Gabriel> "Seifer... step foot outside of Balamb and I will know....."

<Sanosuke> Seifer humphed. "Like I'll stay on Balamb forever... I hate it here."

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis meanwhile was thinking of something to say to the redecorating Lina.

<Gabriel> "Whats with Xel and frogs?"

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis shrugged. "Probably he likes them or something."

<Gabriel> "Poor guy.... he's all the way off the rocker huh?"

<Sanosuke> "Looks that way... I wonder where he is."

<Gabriel> "I hope he isnt getting into any trouble.... they seem really uptight about magic here..."

<Sanosuke> "I seem to recall that Mazoku had links to their masters.... think about it, Xellos would just vanish some times, implying he was contacted telepathicly to come back. Perhaps there was always a sense of his master inside

<Sanosuke> his head.... when she wouldn't let him fight she died before he could... meaning, he lost part of an everpresent feeling."

<Gabriel> "So... he's all alone up there... like... he hinted at?"

<Sanosuke> "Yes. Something he didn't have to face before.. that no real Mazoku would have to face. Xellas died to her lover, forbidding Xellos to fight in her place like he would have normally."

<Gabriel> "So.... she wouldnt let him die... but... why then?"

<Sanosuke> "Why what?"

<Gabriel> "Why didnt she let him fight .... someone else?"

<Gabriel> "I mean... there had to be plenty of other things she could have flung him at"

<Sanosuke> "Maybe they were off a ways from the battle or something.. or perhaps he was fighting too. When his master died he would have had no reason to continue the fight."

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis nodded. "Yes. He's also the last of his kind.. probably helped with his insanity."

<Gabriel> "Well... lets take care of him best we can... and hope he doesnt turn on us....."

<Gabriel> "I know.... but I feel bad for him even though...."

<Gabriel> "Ahh... good!! We need your help to get offa this island and get some.... supplies"

<Sanosuke> "Surely my friends." In an instant they were elsewhere.... in a cafe with an all you can eat buffet!

<Gabriel> Lina's eyes light up "Now this is more like it.... Xel.. can you make money appear too?"

<Gabriel> "alright.... now to settle down to business.... " Lina says... and practically attacks the buffet

<Sanosuke> The waiters blink and got Zelgadis some coffee.

<Gabriel> "This food... its soo much better than what Im used to.... "

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis drank his coffee as Xellos leaned back in his chair.

<Sanosuke> "I eat emotions." He said bluntly, just leaning back.

<Sanosuke> Meanwhile, Squall was getting a transmition on his terminal.

<Gabriel> Squall glares at his terminal.... "what now?"

<Sanosuke> Zell's face appeard, he was panting. "Squall! Squall! Three people just appeard out of thin air at a Balamb Cafe!"

<Gabriel> "Out of thin air? Tell me..... a red head... someone with purple hair... and a rock?"

<Sanosuke> "how'd you know?"

<Gabriel> "Zell... we have a new sorceress on our hands..."

<Sanosuke> "What? Oh wait, they can portal, can't they?"

<Gabriel> "yes.... and who knows what else... I have reports of a girl throwing lightning... from earlier today in Balamb...."

<Sanosuke> "Ouch. Well, the red-head is devowering the buffet...."

<Gabriel> "Great.... think you can stop them? Or at least keep them busy til I can get down there?"

<Gabriel> "Oh... thats right... all the negative ones ne?"

<Sanosuke> "Yep. Of course, sometimes we'll eat flesh and you know I like tea but our diet is mostly negitive human emotions... something I havn't been able to feed on in quite a time."

<Gabriel> "oh... am I gonna be forced to give you some?"

<Sanosuke> "No my dear friend... I got other sorces.. this should be fun."

<Gabriel> "Good... I'd like to say this though.... I NEED you.. since youre my power base.... in saying that... lets try not to kill one another?"

<Sanosuke> "What would be the fun in that? Killing eachother...."

<Gabriel> "None at all... " Lina says quickly before Xellos can even contemplate it

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis sighed. "Lina.. since he is your power sorce.. I don't see how you could anyway..."

<Gabriel> ~But that doesnt mean Xel wont turn on me....~

<Sanosuke> Xellos tapped the table and brought forth a cup of tea.

<Gabriel> "Where does that tea come from anyway?" Lina asks.. leaning back because the Buffet is ... empty now

<Sanosuke> All the other people are backing away from the trio.. all but a spikey-haired blond with a tattoo on his face.

<Sanosuke> "I enjoy the tea." Xellos told her, obvouslly not really hearing what she had actually said.

<Gabriel> Lina shrugs

<Sanosuke> The blonde reached their table.

<Gabriel> Lina glances at him a moment "Yess?"

<Sanosuke> "You're a sorceress.. right?"

<Sanosuke> He was cracking his nuckles.

<Sanosuke> Xellos smiled. "Ah, but of course." In a eyeblink all sorts of sweets covered the table.

<Gabriel> "Wow... service... " Lina says delighted... and stuffs a pastry in her mouth... still totally ignoring Zell

<Gabriel> "Hello Seifer..... " Squall says with a grin.... his eyes flashing amythyst for the briefest of moments

<Gabriel> "Nothing.... come with me..... " Squall says.... reaching out to grab Seifer

<Gabriel> Squall narrows his eyes and sends the spell he was holding at Seifer

<Sanosuke> Seifer knocked back into the wall and groaned, still growling under his breathe.

<Gabriel> "Hurts huh? Once I finish you I'll take out the other two.. then my job is done..."

<Sanosuke> "You son of a bitch.." Seifer coughed from under the small pile of ruble.

<Gabriel> "Dont call my mother a bitch... I never knew her.. " Squall growls... and steps foreward with his blade

<Gabriel> Squall grabs at Seifer and unsnaps the catches holding on his breastplate

<Gabriel> "Im afraid not.... " Squall says.... and Rakes his Gunblade across Seifer's abdomen

<Sanosuke> Seifer gasped and gritted his teeth in pain, feeling his cuts spill from the opening the cut made.

<Gabriel> "A nice slow agonizing death for you Seifer...."

<Sanosuke> "You..." Seifer gurgled and felt his knees buckle.

<Gabriel> Squall smirks and steps away.... wrinkling his nose because it smells quite bad

<Sanosuke> Seifer clutched his wound, feebly trying to gather his intestanse back up.

<Gabriel> ~its a bit sick... but I dont care... he deserved it~

<Gabriel> ~Made my life miserable.... I want to go... this is disturbing....~

<Sanosuke> ~Alright... let him die all alone... mmm~

<Gabriel> ~What now?~ Squall asks as he walks out of the orphanage... and looks at the beach for a moment

<Sanosuke> ~Find me a sad place so I can grow stronger so to speak... then we can do what you want.~

<Gabriel> ~A sad place......?~

<Sanosuke> ~Know any place with angry, unhappy, pained people?"

<Gabriel> "I know the perfect place...." Squall says out loud... "the place you destroyed earlier....."

<Sanosuke> ~Good...~ they phased to Balamb and Squall could even feel the mmming from Xellos.

<Gabriel> Squall finds a place to settle down... hoping he doesnt have to act to appease Xellos at this moment

<Sanosuke> Meanwhile, Seifer was in great pain on the floor.

<Gabriel> A shadow passes over the orphanage.... followed by a small tremor.... as if something massive landed outside

<Sanosuke> Seifer barely registered, trapped in a haze of pain.

<Gabriel> The black dragon.... swivels his head towards the orphanage and shifts down to a humanoid form...

<Sanosuke> The knight was laying on the floor next to the wall, bleeding all over the ground.

<Gabriel> Val... having aged greatly in the 1000 years... enters the orphanage and looks around.... noticing Seifer and blinking

<Sanosuke> The blonde groaned, not seeing Val...

<Gabriel> "Youre not a dragon.... yet.... you feel like one.... " Val says and moves over

<Sanosuke> "Huh?" Seifer asked weakly, panting for air as the pain worsend.

<Gabriel> Val gently rolls him onto his back.... and makes a face.... "This is bad.... "

<Sanosuke> "W-who?" The boy gasped, his intestanse spilling more on the floor.

<Gabriel> "Shh... do not move"

<Sanosuke> Seifer closed his eyes, beliving this can't get any worse, only better.

<Gabriel> ~Filia.... mother... if you can hear... please come~ Val sends out ... and begins tending the wound as best he can

<Sanosuke> ~I hear you... I will come~ She reponded.

<Sanosuke> "Wh-where.. did.. you.. come from?" Seifer asked weekly.

<Gabriel> "Shh... we'll talk when you are out of danger.... "

<Gabriel> Val conjures some fresh water... and uses it to try and rinse some of the debris off of the spilled intestines

<Sanosuke> Seifer groaned and coughed.

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis was looking out the window. "Lina.. come quick."

<Gabriel> "Hmm? What??"

<Gabriel> Lina moves over to the window

<Sanosuke> "Dragon... gold dragon... do you see?"

<Gabriel> "Yes..... unless Filia was really proliferate... that might be her"

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis cast a spell to alert the dragon... which seemed so startled that it fell to the water.

<Gabriel> "Thats her ... alright"

<Gabriel> "C'mon lets go out and say hi.... if she doesnt get pissed and smash us first...."

<Sanosuke> As Lina got down there she heard an old voice, "Ok! Who did that!!???"

<Gabriel> "It was Zelgadis!! " Lina tattles

<Sanosuke> "Wha??" Fillia fell over. "LINA?? But how??"

<Gabriel> "Long story.... made short... I got stuck in a guard spell.. and was trapped all this time"

<Sanosuke> "What you doing here? I thought this was where Xellos had been hanging out."

<Gabriel> "Well he was.... but now he's on the rampage...."

<Sanosuke> "Oh... Well, I have to go help Val with something... want to come with?"

<Gabriel> "Sure.... you wanna help us round up Xellos aftewards?"

<Sanosuke> Filia nodded and shifted back to dragon, not seeming to care about desensy any more. "Get on."

<Gabriel> Lina climbs aboard and looks at Zel "Coming?"

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis nodded and got on as well. The dragon took off, heading for the other island.

<Gabriel> "Wow.. much better than ray wing...!" Lina shouts gleefully... not aware of whats in store on the other island

<Sanosuke> Seifer started to run a fever from having his guts pulled out of his body...

<Gabriel> Val frowns "Hold on... mother will be here soon... "

<Sanosuke> Val could hear Filia landing outside.

<Gabriel> "In here" Val shouts to his mother

<Sanosuke> Filia walked in with the other two.

<Gabriel> Val blinks "Who are they?"

<Sanosuke> Filia blinked. "It's Lina and Zelgadis.. it's been a thousand years but I remember them."

<Gabriel> "Lina and Zelgadis....."

<Gabriel> "No time for memories... this man is dying...."

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis sweetdropped as he spotted Seifer laying on the floor, bleeding.

<Sanosuke> "Oh my, is that one of our clan?" Filia asked, rushing over.

<Gabriel> "Yes.... I felt him dying..." Val says... "I dont know what to do ...."

<Gabriel> Lina blanches "Thats Seifer.... "

<Sanosuke> "Seifer?" Filia asked, trying to get to work.

<Gabriel> "I met him shortly after I woke up... I figured he had something weird about him... he can use fire magics"

<Sanosuke> Filia placed her hands over the wound and gimaced. "SO much blood... I need some clean towels.."

<Gabriel> "I might be able to get a healing spell going..." Lina offers... hoping she can still tap Xellos

<Sanosuke> "Go for it then." Filia continued to grimace, trying to clean the wound.

<Gabriel> Lina holds her hands close over the would and mutters a spell... a soft blue glow forming in her palms

<Sanosuke> Filia kept shouting for clean wet towels.

<Gabriel> Val does his best trying to find something... and with luck finds an old linen cabinet with some musty... but clean towels

<Sanosuke> Seifer was sweating bad now, his face contorted in pain.

<Gabriel> "c'mon mr sorceress' knight... youre gonna pull through" Lina mutters.... focusing on the spell

<Gabriel> Val gives his mother the towels after casting aquablast on them... hoping his spell didnt tap seawater

<Sanosuke> Filia placed one towel over Seifer's forehead and used the other to contiue to clean the wound.

<Gabriel> Lina grits her teeth .... since the spell is wearing her out

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis placed his hand on her shoulder as the boy seemed to heal slowly with the aid of the spell.

<Gabriel> "Damn. he better pull through for all of this..."

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis closed his eyes and pulled on some shaman magic, asking the world to heal the boy.

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis sank to his knees, panting hard from the egzertion.

<Gabriel> "C'mon... heal ..."

<Sanosuke> Seifer was healing though, but he slipped into unconsciousness from the pain...

<Gabriel> "I think.... he's gonna make it..."

<Sanosuke> Filia nodded. "Yes... my great great etc grand children are remarkibly resiliant."

<Gabriel> "Eh... I wonder if Im ever going to be able to settle down...." Lina says... taking her hands away from Seifer since he's coming along nicely on his own

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis was panting at her side. "Does it mater right now? We have to do something about what happend here."

<Gabriel> "Yes... I know... Im gonna kick Xellos' butt...."

<Sanosuke> "You sure it was him?"

<Gabriel> "Seifer's wound was made with a blade... Im betting he coaxed that idiot into attacking him...."

<Sanosuke> Filia growled. "Ohhh... Xellos.... I'm gonna get him!

<Sanosuke> '

<Gabriel> "Problem being however.... My powers come from Xellos... I cant touch him with them.... nor can I destroy him... I dont wanna be powerless...."

<Gabriel> "The only thing I might be able to call on is Raguna blade... and giga slave... since those powers came from neither god or deamon.”

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis nodded, trying to recover himself.

<Sanosuke> "I'll go with you." Filia told her, "It looks like Zelgadis needs to rest."

<Gabriel> Val slips out of the building... to doze in dragon form on the beach.....

<Sanosuke> Filia left Zelgadis to look after Seifer and went over to Lina.

<Gabriel> "Alright... we gotta track them down then... Filia... do you know anything about this junctioning thing?"

<Sanosuke> "Yes. The gardien forces you can draw out of someone and use on yourself.... why? Looking for some?"

<Gabriel> "No... Xellos is junctioned...."

<Sanosuke> Filia blinked. "WHAT? But.... how?"

<Gabriel> "I think he was screwing around... and let it happen..."

<Sanosuke> Filia growled. "Ok, that's it... let's get him!"

<Gabriel> "Can I draw him out of this guy while he's junctioned?"

<Sanosuke> Filia blinked. "Um, do you have any way of drawing magic? I think Gardien forces are needed for that... but, you are the last true sorceress...."

<Gabriel> "Can I get a Guardian force from somewhere so I can draw?"

<Gabriel> "Or amI gonna have to find a way to coax him out?"

<Sanosuke> "Well, we can try the second...." Filia walked outside and shifted to full dragon.

<Gabriel> Lina clambors aboard... wishing Filia were a little smaller

<Sanosuke> Filia liftd off and sniffed the air, looking for the scent of the one that had hurt her kin.

<Sanosuke> "He.. what? But... so many people..." Fillia shifted to her human form and frowned.

<Sanosuke> Filia sniffled. "This is so sad..."

<Sanosuke> Filia's head came up. "This way." And she took off at a run off toward where Squall was.

<Gabriel> "Slow down Filia... he's dangerous... " Lina shouts and runs after her

<Sanosuke> Filia got out her mace and dived at Squall, swinging it.

<Gabriel> Squall laughs and doges her easily...

<Gabriel> "So this is a dragon?"

<Sanosuke> Filia growled. "You're the one that hurt one of my great great etc grand children!"

<Sanosuke> She was growling with rage and brought her large mace around again.

<Gabriel> Squall grins and throws a hastily prepared spell at Filia

<Sanosuke> Filia eeped and ducked as fast as she could as she waited for Lina.

<Gabriel> Lina runs into the area... panting

<Gabriel> "Filia... I told you to wait... " Lina says.. wincing at the explosion

<Sanosuke> "How could I wait?? He's responcible for hurting my blood line!"

<Sanosuke> Fillia jumped back up, swinging at Squall again.

<Gabriel> "Xellos killed almost all of your bloodline at one point.. and he's inside of that guy... so be careful!!"

<Gabriel> Squall sidesteps the blow... and grins impishly

<Sanosuke> "I remmeber... that's why I don't trust him at all.... never did."

<Sanosuke> ~Oh... they do remember that~

<Gabriel> "Xellos.... get out of that idiot.... please..."

<Sanosuke> "Go on Lina.. try to get him!" Filia yelled, trying to distract Squall with her mace.

<Gabriel> "Get him how? I have no clue...."

<Sanosuke> 'Try something!"

<Gabriel> "Like what? If I kill Squall It might kill Xellos.... and I really dont wanna do that..."

<Sanosuke> "Do however Xellos got in there in the first place then."

<Sanosuke> ~Ohhh.. Lina, wants me?~

<Gabriel> "I dont know how to draw!!"

<Sanosuke> Squall started to glow with the dark power....

<Gabriel> "err... c'mon Xellos Im sure you'd be much more comfy in here.... " Lina points at herself

<Gabriel> Lina puts her hand on her head "I have no clue... what to do .... for once in my life Im stumped.."

<Sanosuke> Filia swiped her club at Squall's middle as the ghost hand continued to wave.

<Gabriel> "Oh geez... " Lina says to herself and grabs for the hand

<Sanosuke> The hand passed right through her and she felt a jolt of dark energy swirling from the contact.

<Sanosuke> Filia blinked and stood back as she watched the dark energy surround the two.

<Gabriel> ~Xellos... c'mon.... why you giving your power to that reject Amelia wannabe?~

<Sanosuke> The dark energy swirled and went right from Squall and into Lina... leaving the brunnet on the ground and very out of it

<Gabriel> Lina squeezes her eyes shut at the odd sensation

<Sanosuke> She felt warmth though, and most of all, great power.

<Gabriel> "Wow... this is different" Lina mumbles to herself

<Sanosuke> Soon Filia landed in another town, shifting back to human form and smiling. "Here we are!"

<Gabriel> "Okay.. out you get Xellos" Lina says and wills him out... hoping it will work

<Sanosuke> Xellos shimmered into being next to them and smiled.

<Gabriel> "Good boy.... " Lina says... pleased that that worked so easily

<Gabriel> "C'mon Xel... you want tea... we got tea.... " Lina says... wanting to make sure he stays in front of her so she can keep an eye on hin

<Sanosuke> Xellos walked in and sat down... a momment later there was a crash.

<Sanosuke> When lina walked in she saw a rather enraged Filia with her club through the table she... and Xellos... were sitting at.

<Sanosuke> Filia was growling at Xellos, her face flushed with anger.

<Gabriel> "Xellos...... what did you do?"

<Sanosuke> Xellos smiled as always. "Just sat down."

<Sanosuke> Filia grabbed her mace out of the broken table, glaring at the smiling priest.

<Sanosuke> Xellos smiled and pulled his arms around her, getting comfy.

<Sanosuke> Filia was fuming still and moved to another table.

<Gabriel> "There are other people around... drink your tea... "

<Sanosuke> Xellos sat back up and noticed the table was broken, so he moved toFilia's table.

<Gabriel> Lina glares at Filia... and settles down between them.... to avoid any disputes

<Sanosuke> Filia pulls back her mace, ready to bash Xellos over the head with it.

<Sanosuke> Filia bashed Xellos over the head with her mace. He fell into Lina's lap and giggled. "Hit me harder!" He yelled.

<Gabriel> "Ack... not while he's in my lap!!"

<Sanosuke> Xellos grinned up at her and tightened himself to her body. "No want to leave.. no want to go chance down more dragons and kill them."

<Sanosuke> Filia growled and walked out of the tea house,.

<Gabriel> "There arent any dragons left.... other than the two I happen to be friends with..."

<Sanosuke> "Oh yah, killed them all... silly me." Xellos giggled and nuzzled at Lina's side.

<Gabriel> Lina sighs "I gotta get some of those secrets out of you....like why youre so touchy feely"

<Sanosuke> Xellos purred and curled himself into her lap. "Nice nice... nice place to stay."

<Gabriel> lina sighs again.... not exactly sure how to deal with this right now

<Sanosuke> But it would be best to get out of there... and she could easily ask Xellos to get them back to the island.

<Gabriel> "Xellos.... come... lets go back to the island okay?"

<Sanosuke> "Ok!" In an instant they were on the bed... Xellos still curled on her lap.

<Gabriel> "Much better... what are you a cat?"

<Sanosuke> "Mazoku."

<Sanosuke> He grinned up at her like a cat though.

<Gabriel> "Well yes I realize youre a Mazoku... the last of your kind... It seems Im collecting a lot of lasts....."

<Sanosuke> "Like what dear Lina?"

<Gabriel> "Last gold dragon..... last ancient dragon.... last Mazoku.... last true sorceress...."

<Gabriel> Lina sighs

<Sanosuke> "Ohh... I see now. Heh... sounds like everyone needs to have children! right? Mmm.. dragon meat is tastey this time of year... let's breed them and have food!"

<Gabriel> "But filia has had plenty of children... apparently

<Sanosuke> "Can we eat them?"

<Gabriel> "No.... sorry... I dont think we can"

<Sanosuke> "Oh. Pity.. probably taste good. What about more children?"

<Gabriel> "No eating people Xellos.... please....."

<Sanosuke> "No no.. I mean... I don't have any children.. you don;t have any children..."

<Gabriel> "I dont think Im ever going to be able to have kids...."

<Sanosuke> Xellos stuck his hand down her pants suddenly.

<Gabriel> "Eee!!! Xellos!!"

<Gabriel> Lina quickly removes the hand

<Sanosuke> Xellos blinked. "What's wrong?"

<Gabriel> "Im not used to people sticking hands down my pants... okay...."

<Sanosuke> "Oh, I see..." Xellos nodded in her lap.

<Gabriel> Lina sighs "going to be too busy keeping you out of trouble to ever settle down..."

<Sanosuke> "What about me again?"

<Gabriel> "What about you?"

<Sanosuke> "Settle down with me?"

<Gabriel> "Do you know how to settle down?"

<Sanosuke> Xellos stuck his hand down her pants again.

<Gabriel> "Xellos..... knock it off...

<Sanosuke> "Knock what off?"

<Sanosuke> Xellos draws his hand back out. "Perhaps."

<Gabriel> "Why after all this time did you end up waiting for me anyway?"

<Sanosuke> "Oh? nothing else to do and you're the closest thing I.... well.. had to a friend other then my master."

<Gabriel> "I guess even Mazoku get lonely..... "

<Sanosuke> "Yeah, especially here when there is no Lina anywhere in the world."

<Gabriel> "Well.. Im back for a time"

<Sanosuke> "When you have to leave?"

<Gabriel> "Oh.... not for a long time I hope.... unless that idiot still tries to kill me"

<Sanosuke> "No one will kill Lina.. Lina must live.."

<Gabriel> "Sorry Xel.. Im mortal.... It'll happen eventually"

<Sanosuke> "Oh..." Xellos frowned and sighed, pressed up against her.

<Gabriel> Lina plays with his hair quietly... not sure what else to say

<Sanosuke> He started to fade, his power sliding back into her.

<Gabriel> "What are you up to now?"

<Sanosuke> ~Don't like being alone...~

<Gabriel> ~Alright... you can hide in there then~

<Sanosuke> ~Mmm, so cozy... what shall we do? Have fun?~

<Gabriel> ~What is your idea of fun?~

<Sanosuke> ~Hurting people.. dropping frogs all over.. all that stuff!

<Gabriel> ~Well I dont really want to hurt anyone..... unless you can find me some bad guys....~

<Gabriel> "Oh.... I forgot... I wonder how Seifer is.....

<Sanosuke> ~Oh yah... Squall really hated him so I fed off their pain a while.. he didn't kill him though.~

<Gabriel> ~I guess I cant expect less from you..... you are a Mazoku and all~

<Sanosuke> ~The last... the last.. how sad too~

<Gabriel> ~Well... we're the last together.... so dont feel too bad.... I feel so out of place in this... world~

<Gabriel> ~What would I do with the world... I'd rather just... curl up and go back to sleep.... ~

<Gabriel> "And Im exhausted anyway" Lina says out loud... to reassure herself ... then stretches out and closes her eyes

<Gabriel> ~sure... It feels nice~

<Sanosuke> the dark energy flooded out and she felt his arms around her.

<Gabriel> Lina yawns and curls up... reminding herself to check on Zel in the morning

<Sanosuke> Xellos kissed her cheek softly.

<Sanosuke> "Good night my sorceress...."
