Rufus Shinra stands on the bridge of the Highwind, looking out at the snowy landscape bellow.

Squall Leonhart says, "Wow... snowy... only place there’s snow like this is where the Shumi live."

Rufus Shinra says, "well, we are looking for the promised land so we can stop Sephiroth from getting it."

Squall Leonhart shows Rufus some pictures he drew... of a Moomba... a Shumi... a Mog and a Chocobo.

Squall Leonhart says, "Recognize any of these."

Rufus Shinra says, "that last one looks like the summons choco/mog... and the first reminds me sort of that lab specimen that joined the AVALANCHE crew...."

Squall Leonhart says, "Does that mean I can still get chocoburgers here?"

Rufus Shinra grins.

Rufus Shinra says, "yep."

Squall Leonhart says, "Yay!"

Rufus Shinra smiles at Squall.

Squall Leonhart is showing way more emotion than he ever would have back in his own world.

Squall Leonhart says, "Can you teach me how to use materia when we're done??"

Rufus Shinra says, "it seems we're getting close now... let's hope in time to stop Sephiroth... heh, I hope my dad is tossing in his grave... that I, his disappointment found what he was always looking for and now I'm NOT going to use it like he wanted."

Squall Leonhart bounces a little

Rufus Shinra walks over to Squall and puts a hand on his shoulder.

Squall Leonhart smiles at Rufus.

Rufus Shinra says, "we'll also have to worry about the terrorists.... they want Sephiroth too but they also hate us so instead of being allies we're bitter enemies... which is not a good thing."

Squall Leonhart sneaks a peek around the bridge to make sure no-ones looking... and gives Rufus a peck on the cheek.... still a little timid about his relationship.

Rufus Shinra smiles, which for the longest time the others in ShinRa have never seen him do.

Rufus Shinra says, "yah know, I think my employees are thanking you behind your back for making me happy. They don't run away from me any more."

Squall Leonhart says, "oh? They... know about us?"

Rufus Shinra says, "not exactly, but it's hard to keep anything private even if you say nothing from them. It's like living in a fish bowl."
