Sephiroth is stalking Cloud through the trees

Cloud Strife has the feeling he is being watched.... But keeps moving

Sephiroth tiptoes after Cloud. Suddenly yells in his ear "CLOUD!"

Cloud Strife says, "Ack!"

Sephiroth falls back laughing

Cloud Strife jumps into the nearest tree

Sephiroth rolls on the ground laughing hysterically

Sephiroth says, "heh heh heh... Cloud.... Hah hah hah"

Cloud Strife clings to the tree branch sniffling

Sephiroth says, "That was so funny"

Cloud Strife says, "Yah... ha ha.... Big jerk"

Sephiroth says, "you managed to jump up in the tree..."

Sephiroth stands up and dusts himself off

Cloud Strife says, " Now how do I get down?"

Sephiroth says, "Jump?"

Cloud Strife tries to jump but more or less falls

Sephiroth catches Cloud

Sephiroth says, "aww.... You got to be more careful"

Cloud Strife smiles

Cloud Strife says, "You shoulda let me get hurt...."

Sephiroth says, "nah"

Sephiroth sets Cloud on his feet

Cloud Strife says, "You like torturing me don’t you?"

Sephiroth says, "It's fun... heh heh... come on... let's get home"

Sephiroth starts to head home

Cloud Strife follows Sephiroth

Sephiroth walks in and settles down somewhere

Cloud Strife looks at Sephiroth then goes to his room

Sephiroth sighs and stands up... following after Cloud

Cloud Strife watches out his window at the other kids playing

Sephiroth leans in the doorway

Cloud Strife doesn’t even notice Sephiroth... too wrapped up in thoughts and wishes

Sephiroth says, "Cloud..."

Cloud Strife turns and looks at Sephiroth

Cloud Strife says, "yeah?"

Sephiroth says, "Can I talk to you a little while?"

Cloud Strife says, "Sure"

Sephiroth says, "I'll be 14 in a few weeks..."

Cloud Strife nods

Cloud Strife says, "Are you gonna go sign up?"

Sephiroth sighs

Sephiroth says, "you know what that could mean... seeing that there is a war?"

Cloud Strife says, "Yeah... I know you don’t like to fight and stuff..."

Sephiroth says, "I could be hurt... what's worse... they make you cut your hair"

Sephiroth shutters

Cloud Strife says, "I think sometimes you care more about your hair than you do me...."

Sephiroth frowns. Puts an arm around Cloud

Sephiroth says, "I love you kid... you're my only family"

Cloud Strife smiles

Cloud Strife says, "Are you gonna go away? And leave me alone? You’re my only friend..."

Sephiroth says, "oh. And the other problem with fighting is the weapons... they can callous ones hands. I don't want to... what if they draft me?"

Cloud Strife says, "You can hide... you kinda don’t exist...."

Sephiroth says, "heh... funny. I do exist though... I was even recorded"

Cloud Strife says, "Well... the mountains are big... they wont find you there"

Sephiroth sigh

Sephiroth says, "but then I will get nothing done in my life... and we don't know I'll be drafted. Why’d they pick me any way? It's obvious I would complain..."

Cloud Strife says, "I don’t know"

Sephiroth says, "you still have a few years to worry... by then the war could be over"

Cloud Strife says, "I hope they don’t come… I don’t want you to go"

Sephiroth hugs his little brother

Sephiroth says, "same here"

Cloud Strife says, "Even though you’re mean to me sometimes"

Sephiroth says, "heh heh...."

Sephiroth messes with Cloud's hair and grins

Cloud Strife growls and tries to fix his hair

Sephiroth says, "You are fun to mess with... but I still love you"

Sephiroth pulls a little on Cloud's ponytail

Cloud Strife says, "Oww... that’s not a handle"

Sephiroth says, "heh. Anyway... what do you want to do?"

Cloud Strife says, "Dunno..."

Sephiroth says, "what about when you are older... any ideas?"

Cloud Strife shakes his head

Sephiroth says, "what do you think I would want?"

Sephiroth picks Cloud up and tosses him up in the air a few times... catching him

Cloud Strife squeaks

Cloud Strife says, "Well..."

Sephiroth sets him down

Cloud Strife says, "What does one who is perfection incarnate want to do?"

Sephiroth laughs

Sephiroth says, "you flatter me. You know I love fine arts and such"

Cloud Strife says, "Well why don’t you go to school and pursue that sort of thing?"

Sephiroth smiles at Cloud

Cloud Strife says, "Me.... I’m gonna be a big nothing..."

Sephiroth says, "I want to... need money. Nah... you won't... I can feel that some day you will be very big... people will love you. That's what I see. I've got something to do in my room... you gonna be ok here?"

Cloud Strife says, "Yeah... I’m just gonna sit and watch like I always do...."

Cloud Strife gestures to the window

Sephiroth says, "maybe you should try climbing through it one day..."

Sephiroth walks to his room

Cloud Strife watches the kids outside

Sephiroth gets to work on something he is sewing. Is making a pare of long black gloves... even though he almost never wears black

Cloud Strife goes outside and approaches the other kids

Sephiroth finishes at last after an hour and tries them on. Marvels at how they fit perfectly and are skintight... allowing his hands to be protected and get use them still for anything. Takes them off and puts them in a special box neatly. Walks out of his room and sees Cloud walk in

Cloud Strife sighs

Sephiroth says, "are you ok?"

Cloud Strife says, "Yeah... they always laugh at me"

Sephiroth says, "why?"

Cloud Strife says, "Cuz of you"

Sephiroth says, "oh"

Sephiroth sighs and picks Cloud up. Walks into the living room... smelling food being cooked, and sets Cloud down on the couch next to him

Sephiroth says, "what do they say?"

Cloud Strife says, "They... say you sleep with men.... And they say that you sleep with me..."

Sephiroth blinks

Sephiroth says, "why?"

Cloud Strife says, "I don’t know. Other than falling asleep talking to you..."

Sephiroth sighs and shakes his head

Sephiroth says, "what else do they say?"

Cloud Strife says, "And they say you are weak... I know you could rip their heads off easy"

Sephiroth chuckles

Sephiroth says, "well... I suppose... but I'd get blood on me"

Sephiroth frowns

Sephiroth says, "any way.... They do not know what they say…It sort of makes me want to prove them all wrong... maybe they'll stop harassing you"

Cloud Strife says, "Yeah..."

Sephiroth says, "that's why I will not run if ShinRa comes for me.... I don't want people to keep on making fun of you"

Cloud Strife says, "But I don’t want you to leave"

Sephiroth says, "I hope they will not come. If they do I'll be leaving any way... even running and that will make me loose dignity"

Cloud Strife says, "I won’t let them take you"

Sephiroth smiles and kisses his brother's cheek

Cloud Strife says, "Ill.... umm...bite them!"

Sephiroth says, "I love you kid.... You’re willing to stick up for me"

Cloud Strife says, "of course... you mean so much to me..."

Sephiroth says, "yeah... me too"

Cloud Strife says, "I was scared of you at first... big kid with silver hair saying he was my brother..."

Sephiroth hears Cloud's mom say that dinner is ready

Sephiroth says, "yeah... come on... let's go eat"

Cloud Strife nods

Sephiroth leans on Cloud's doorframe.... Looking a little sad

Cloud Strife says, "What’s wrong Seph?"

Sephiroth says, "bad news..."

Cloud Strife says, "What?"

Sephiroth hands Cloud the letter he got

Cloud Strife says, "You can’t go"

Cloud Strife clings to Sephiroth's leg

Sephiroth says, "They'll have me executed if I don't..."

Cloud Strife sniffles

Cloud Strife says, "But you cant...."

Sephiroth picks Cloud up and hugs him

Sephiroth says, "Maybe they'll wind up disqualifying me or something... who knows... I'll try to make it back here as soon as possible"

Cloud Strife says, "Why don’t you shoot your foot?"

Sephiroth says, "Ack... No thanks... I need my foot"

Cloud Strife says, "Or pretend your eyesight is real bad"

Sephiroth says, "hmm... "

Cloud Strife says, "You can steal mom's glasses... "

Sephiroth chuckles

Sephiroth says, "I'll try and get out of this some how... ok?"

Cloud Strife nods

Sephiroth kisses Cloud's forehead and walks to his room... getting packed and makes sure the gloves he made are in his bag

Cloud Strife watches Sephiroth pack

Sephiroth says, "anything in here you want?"

Cloud Strife says, "No... "

Sephiroth nods and heads for the door

Sephiroth says, "you'll see me again... if they don't let me go I'll make sure I'm not killed... ok?"

Cloud Strife says, "Alright"

Sephiroth kisses his forehead again and walks out, his long hair flowing behind him
