Reno is lying in Cloud's arms

Cloud Strife strokes Reno's cheek gently

Cloud Strife says, "Reno.... I won..."

Cloud Strife says, "don't leave Reno.... We've got a life to live together.... No more fighting"

Cloud Strife fingers the hyper in his pocket... wondering if he should just let Reno sleep like he deserves

Cloud Strife says, "Is it torture to live like this Reno... I don't want you to die.... But do you want to live?"

Cloud Strife says, "I don't know how to help you... We can sleep forever in each other's arms... I don't know if I want to keep on going knowing that you aren't gonna make it..."

Reno wanted to be in Cloud's arms forever

Cloud Strife sits down and tries to remember all the little things he picked up while he was playing soldier...

Reno looks peaceful despite the paleness of his skin

Cloud Strife says, "All I know about poison is the crap they taught about snakebites... Now how do I get this to work?"

Cloud Strife says, "I saved it for us Reno... but their doesnt seem to be an us anymore..."

Reno drank the poison because he though Cloud had gone off and left him... and had seemed to sense what Cloud had been saying that day

Cloud Strife says, "Reno I never wanted you to feel this way... I isolated you... But you cant hear me... will never be able to hear me again... Reno I don't want you to die... but I dont want to keep you someplace you dont want to be anymore...."

Reno wanted to be with Cloud

Cloud Strife says, "But I promised to stay with you and take care of you... so I'm gonna try my damnest to keep you alive.... At least until you tell me for sure that you don't want to live"

Cloud Strife tries a hyper on Reno... so he can last a little longer

Reno gasps, his head lolling to one side

Cloud Strife says, "Lets see if we can figure out where you lived here... I wanna at least be able to bury you in clean clothes if it comes to that..."

Cloud Strife frowns

Reno lays in Cloud's arms, peacefully sleeping ... not aware of anything that has happened since he drank the poison back in Kalm

Cloud Strife carries Reno out into the streets and questions any people he meets... trying to find where Reno lived...

Cloud Strife asks several bartenders

Tender says, "what happened to him any way?"

Cloud Strife says, "Poisoned. He's deaf and blind from fever... I don't know what to do with him now..."

Tender says, "poisoned? *Blinks* Deaf and blind? Woah... damn "

Cloud Strife shrugs and carries Reno off in the direction the Bartender pointed... hoping someone will recognize Reno

Cloud Strife says, "Hmm..."

Cloud Strife kicks in the door hoping he didn't just break into someone's house

Cloud Strife says, "oops..."

Cloud Strife looks around at the mess

Cloud Strife says, "My my.. this has to be your place....."

Cloud Strife cleans off Reno's bed and lies him on it... then starts fishing through drawers

Cloud Strife continues rummaging

Cloud Strife says, "Geez Reno.... who could find anything in here... Hmm. Another vial of poison?"

Cloud Strife examines it

Cloud Strife tastes the contents of the vial

Cloud Strife says, "Hmm.. didn't make my tongue numb or anything. Well Reno.. It's worth a shot"

Cloud Strife props Reno up in his lap

Reno lays back against Cloud's chest

Cloud Strife says, "Now.. drink or inject? Oh well..... it'll get there either way"

Cloud Strife pours the contents of the vial into Reno's mouth and tips his head back so he will swallow

Cloud Strife says, "Well Reno... if you die from that there's only one thing I can do... Join you... I'd find a nice painful way for myself to go too...I know you would be telling me this isn't my fault and stuff.... but it is"

Reno is still leaning back on Cloud

Cloud Strife strokes his fingers through Reno's hair and fixes his ponytail

Reno breathes sharply and moves a little

Cloud Strife takes Reno's hand into his... worried that these may be his death throws...

Reno starts breathing deeply

Cloud Strife says, "At least you are breathing again... I was afraid I would have to start Mouth to Mouth.. not that I would have minded....."

Reno draws in breath in gasps .. hasn't been breathing much for a while after all

Cloud Strife looks at Reno worriedly and brushes the hair out of his face

Cloud Strife takes Reno's hand and kisses it apologetically

Reno says, "I'm awake ... how long was I out?"

Cloud Strife writes at least 3 days

Reno says, "so am I ... I was being impulsive ..."

Cloud Strife sighs .. happy that Reno is still with him... but wishing he hadn't lost the ability of easy communication. writes Cant talk mind to mind anymore.....

Reno says, "oh"
