Reno is still asleep, holding Cloud to him

Cloud Strife wakes up and freaks out a little

Reno says, "zzzz"

Cloud Strife wiggles out of Reno's arms...

Reno doesn't wake up but does role over

Cloud Strife looks at Reno and sighs

Reno says, "zzzz"

Cloud Strife gets himself a shower... and dresses in a black sleeveless shirt... black pants... and black gauntlets

Reno roles around again, then wakes, realizing Cloud is gone. Blinks

Reno says, "hmmm"

Reno yawns and stretches. Looks around

Cloud Strife is in front of the mirror fiddling with his hair

Reno sighs, leaning back

Cloud Strife is trying to get one of the biggest spikes on his head to lie flat. Fishes around in his clothes from the night before... and straps on his belt

Reno looks over at Cloud

Cloud Strife glances at Reno

Cloud Strife says, "Oh... you're awake"

Reno says, "yeah, I am"

Cloud Strife says, "I was gonna go down into town... my fridge is empty... again.... "

Reno says, "ahh"

Reno spots his clothing lying on the floor

Cloud Strife says, "Sorry... bout last night"

Reno grabs them up and puts them on

Reno says, "hmm?"

Cloud Strife says, "Well I sorta forced myself on you... at first"

Reno says, "No, hey... that's fine"

Cloud Strife says, "Sober?"

Reno blinks

Reno says, "huh?"

Cloud Strife says, "Nothin"

Cloud Strife tries to plaster the spike down on his head again but it just pops back up

Reno slides out of bed, dressed again

Cloud Strife looks around his room and realizes what a mess it is. Sighs

Cloud Strife says, "I'm just as much a slob as you it seems"

Reno has been in worse ... like his home. Grins

Cloud Strife fiddles with his gauntlets

Reno says, "I guess"

Cloud Strife says, "Well I'm fully sober and I still feel the same..."

Reno says, "hey, how are you feeling?"

Cloud Strife says, "Alright I guess"

Reno chuckles

Reno says, "just alright? Oh well"

Cloud Strife says, "Well if you mean it that way I feel wonderful"

Reno grins

Reno says, "hey, now that's good"

Reno walks over to him

Cloud Strife looks at Reno

Reno grins

Cloud Strife says, "Y'know Reno... you're the last person on earth I thought would go for the guy guy thing...."

Reno blinks

Reno says, "really, why?"

Cloud Strife says, "you just seem so nonchalant... so masculine... it's hard to explain"

Reno shrugs

Reno says, "I guess I am just am who I am"

Cloud Strife says, "Had a weird dream..."

Reno says, "oh?"

Cloud Strife says, "I think it was cuz I was drunk... Bout the Ancient Temple... and Tifa... weird shit... "

Reno says, "oh? Weird"

Cloud Strife says, "What's weirder... I dreamed that Rufus was alive.... Next Im gonna be seeing Sephiroth in the mirror instead of myself"

Reno chuckles

Reno says, "yeah, well..."

Cloud Strife says, "He was missing an eye and shit... freaky scar along his face"

Reno says, "Who?"

Cloud Strife looks in the mirror...

Cloud Strife says, "Rufus"

Reno says, "Really?"

Cloud Strife says, "Weird dream... that's all... guy couldn't have survived"

Cloud Strife is glad to see he isn't Sephiroth... although he is dressed completely in black...

Reno says, "I suppose not... the entire top floor exploded ... and he was in his office at the time"

Cloud Strife says, "Aeris was there too.... And Tseng..."

Reno says, "Woah... Tseng?"

Reno chuckles

Cloud Strife says, "Does that mean Tifa's dead? She was there with a bunch of dead people?"

Reno says, "I don't know. She might be"

Cloud Strife says, "Wanna get un-bored and go check it out?"

Reno says, "sure, why not"

Cloud Strife fishes his sword out of the closet. Grimaces at it and begins to polish it with one of his dirty shirts. The blade still has a nick in it from Sephiroth's deathblow

Reno watches Cloud silently

Cloud Strife fingers the nick

Reno says, "Cloud, was there any other reason you thought I would not be... well..."

Cloud Strife says, "Well you just didn't seem... I mean you're not a stupid kid like me... you're cool.... And calm... just. Well its not typical"

Reno says, "yeah. Who else do you think would be the last person on earth to be in for this?"

Cloud Strife says, "?"

Reno says, "You said I was"

Cloud Strife says, "Well Rufus... he's just scary. I don't think he even thought about sex"

Reno blinks a second. Breaks down laughing

Cloud Strife says, "Now it's either Im dead and I haven't done anything that I want.... Or Im still alive and there's nothin I want to do..."

Reno leans on the wall, catching his breath

Reno says, "Rufus..."

Reno starts up into fresh laughder

Cloud Strife says, "Why are you laughing?"

Reno wipes his eyes, trying to calm down

Reno says, "Cloud...*chuckle* I'm afraid to say, you are not very good at judging people"

Cloud Strife says, "Oh... So you're saying he was?"

Reno says, "He used to hang out with the Turks ... we notice everything after all. We could tell what he was up too"

Cloud Strife says, "...."

Reno manages to calm down at last

Cloud Strife says, "Did he ever come on to any of you?"

Reno says, "He was very select... So, I'm not sure"

Cloud Strife says, "He was a major freak... "

Reno says, "why do you say that?"

Cloud Strife says, "His whole fear thing. That little speech he gave us on the rooftop..."

Reno brushes the hair out of his eyes

Cloud Strife says, "I don't think he could have been happier about his old man dying"

Cloud Strife fiddles with his gauntlets some more

Reno says, "yeah, well, Old Man ShinRa was... well, no one really liked him. Anything else?"

Cloud Strife says, "Neh... Just his whole manner"

Cloud Strife sits down on the bed... and continues fiddling with his arm bands... as if frustrated or something

Reno says, "So, we going some where?"

Cloud Strife says, "I suppose... we have to go to where the temple was... to quell my fears"

Reno says, "ok"

------- Day later----------

Reno follows Cloud into the jungle

Cloud Strife grumbles as he crunches through the trees...

Cloud Strife says, "Why do there have to be so many plants here?"

Scarlett cocks her gun as she hears someone

Reno hears something

Scarlett says, "Ok, don't move"

Scarlett walks out of her hiding place, then blinks

Cloud Strife does a doubletake

Scarlett says, "damn, are you guys being drawn here or something?"

Cloud Strife says, "You're dead?"

Scarlett says, "Reno Too?"

Reno says, "Scarlett...."

Reno looks away

Scarlett says, "no"

Scarlett looks at Cloud

Scarlett says, "First Tifa, then Barret"

Cloud Strife says, "Tifa's here...."

Scarlett says, "then later Yuffie... and after her Cid, Tseng, and Aeris"

Reno says, "Tseng's alive?"

Cloud Strife says, "Tseng? Aeris!"

Scarlett says, "yeah. I think I heard something about Tseng bringing Aeris back to life"

Scarlett points her gun at them

Scarlett says, "any way, I have to take you back to the camp"

Cloud Strife puts his hand on his sword....

Reno looks at Cloud

Scarlett says, "Don't try it ... I'm a good shot"

Cloud Strife says, "Well Reno... my dream was right.... "

Reno says, "but that would mean... oh boy. He's alive...."

Scarlett says, "come on you two"

Scarlett motions with her gun

Cloud Strife says, "...."

Cloud Strife begrudgingly heads in the direction Scarlett is indicating

Reno follows Cloud

Cloud Strife tugs on Reno's arm

Scarlett leads them into camp

Reno looks at Cloud

Cloud Strife says, "*whisper* What the hell is this?"

Reno says, "I don't know"

Scarlett says, "This is where we are rebuilding"

Cloud Strife says, "Rebuilding?"

Scarlett says, "That's what Rufus calls it"

Cloud Strife says, "So he is alive...."

Reno looks around

Cloud Strife puts his hand on his sword again

Cloud Strife ignores Scarlet and Reno and begins walking towards Rufus

Rufus Shinra turns around, his eye flashing

Rufus Shinra says, "so, you did show up"

Reno watches Cloud carefully

Cloud Strife says, "I had a dream..."

Cloud Strife draws his sword

Rufus Shinra stands there, not blinking

Reno blinks

Cloud Strife stops several feet away

Rufus Shinra watches him with his only eye

Scarlett almost drops her gun

Reno jaw drops a few inches

Cloud Strife says, "Obviously you are up to something. Or all of us wouldn't be here would we?"

Reno watches

Cloud Strife says, "Summoned?"

Cloud Strife pulls his sword back up out of the ground

Cloud Strife says, "Explain now!"

Cloud Strife holds his sword threateningly

Rufus Shinra shakes his head

Rufus Shinra says, "I suppose, it cannot be explained to one such as yourself"

Cloud Strife says, "Try me"

Rufus Shinra says, "You cannot hear it"

Cloud Strife looks back at Reno and shrugs

Reno looks back at Cloud, looking concerned

Rufus Shinra tilts his head, listing

Rufus Shinra chuckles and looks back at Cloud

Cloud Strife glares back... silently

Rufus Shinra his eye glows with Mako power

Reno continues to watch

Cloud Strife gets impatient... and tenses.... Then leaps at Rufus.... Slashing at his midsection

Rufus Shinra catches the blade between his hands. Kicks up his foot at the handle, freeing it. Twirls the blade around and grips the handle himself

Cloud Strife is stunned for a moment

Rufus Shinra says, "hmm, interesting"

Cloud Strife growls

Rufus Shinra chuckles

Cloud Strife punches at Rufus... trying to get his sword back

Rufus Shinra grabs Cloud's hand and tosses him backward

Reno says, "... there is no way..."

Reno is very stunned

Cloud Strife lands on his back...

Cloud Strife is pretty stunned... as Rufus doesn't look at all that skilled

Rufus Shinra walks over to Cloud. Looks down at him. Swings the sword with ease

Cloud Strife says, "Go head... you won... kill me"

Cloud Strife struggles to sit up... feeling that his wrist has been slightly damaged by the Toss

Reno is dragged off cursing by the Guards

Reno is dropped off in a tent, still guarded

Rufus Shinra says, "Now, just for a few rules. If you try to escape you will be killed. If you do escape, some one else will die in your place. And, if you ever try to attack me again..."

Rufus Shinra looks over to where the guards are watching over Reno

Cloud Strife hisses

Cloud Strife says, "I swear you hurt him at all...."

Rufus Shinra says, "Don't worry. If you behave ... I'll make sure you get rewarded"

Reno sits down

Cloud Strife casts a cure spell on his wrist

Rufus Shinra says, "I've assigned Tifa to manual Labor, Barret to patrol, don't know what I'm going to do with Cid or Yuffie ... nor Tseng or that Valius kid... what to do with you and Reno"

Cloud Strife feels dejected... realizing that he probably only beat Sephiroth due to sheer luck... rubs his wrist and is glad Rufus didn't take the materia in his armlet

Rufus Shinra says, "I guess I'll have to think on that"

Cloud Strife says, "..."

Rufus Shinra turns his back to Cloud, looking out over where the temple once stood

Reno says, "..."

Cloud Strife sighs. Gets up and walks to the tent where they drug Reno... wondering if he will be allowed in

Cloud Strife goes in and looks at Reno... perplexedly

Reno sighs, sitting on the ground

Reno says, "well, this is fun... we get caught"

Cloud Strife says, "Im sorry I even suggested coming here..."

Reno says, "ah, well..."

Reno lies down

Reno says, "I'm very tired"

Cloud Strife lies next to Reno

Cloud Strife says, "me too.... "

Reno says, "it's not ever day a Turk gets kidnapped... in a way"

Cloud Strife says, "God he's strong... And he obviously knew you meant something to me...."

Reno says, "I noticed ... never thought he was that strong before. Yeah, That's odd"

Cloud Strife says, "You do"

Reno smiles

Cloud Strife pulls Reno close

Reno likes being pulled

Cloud Strife says, "It won't be that bad... as long as you're here..."

Reno says, "yeah...."

Reno kisses Cloud

Cloud Strife snuggles up against Reno

Cloud Strife says, "Sleep... we'll probably need all the strength we can muster... who knows what's going on here... other than him"

Reno raps his arms around Cloud, holding him close

Reno says, "I know"

Cloud Strife says, "We best behave... until we're sure we can do something...."

Reno says, "yeah"

Cloud Strife puts his head on Reno's chest... and dozes off... his dreams filled with images of him losing to Sephiroth...
