Reno sits at the bar in Costa Del Sol, on his own

Reno says, "damn... why'd they have to leave?"

Reno sighs and sips his drink as he smokes on his cigarette

Tifa Lockheart walks into the bar and asks the bartender if he has any job openings

Reno continues to smoke his cigarette, playing boredly with the glass in his hand

Tifa Lockheart says, "But I owned a bar... of course I have experience!"

Reno looks up from his thoughts

Reno says, "Woah... Tifa..."

Tifa Lockheart blinks

Tifa Lockheart says, "Reno? The Turk?"

Tifa Lockheart gets into a defensive stance

Reno says, "Reno... I ain't a Turk no more... the Turks are all gone"

Reno finishes off his drink and sets the glass on the table

Tifa Lockheart sighs

Tifa Lockheart says, "I can't find a job..."

Reno says, "you can sit down if you like, I haven't had anyone to talk to in a few days since my friends ditched me"

Tifa Lockheart says, "okies"

Tifa Lockheart sits down beside Reno

Reno slides the bottle over to her

Reno says, "Elena and Rude ditched me so they could get to know each other better"

Reno sighs

Reno says, "how's Cloud?"

Tifa Lockheart says, "Aww... that sucks. Cloud disappeared"

Reno says, "oh... I remember Rufus telling us that what ever we did not to harm him..."

Reno snuffs out his Cigarette

Reno says, "or we'd be killed"

Reno fills another glass and starts to drink

Tifa Lockheart says, "Why would he say that?"

Reno says, "no clue... but we were to afraid to ask"

Tifa Lockheart says, "You were afraid of him?"

Reno says, "yeah... all of us... "

Tifa Lockheart says, "That scrawny thing?"

Reno says, "Tifa, you remember how evil his father was?"

Tifa Lockheart says, "Yeah"

Reno says, "well, Rufus was far worse..."

Tifa Lockheart says, "You're kidding?"

Reno says, "no, wish I was... good thing he couldn't have survived that blast"

Reno drinks down the glass

Tifa Lockheart says, "Yeah... that weapon all but vaporized his office"

Reno says, "even if he did survive the blast, the ruble would have buried him... and no one wanted to dig him out"

Reno takes out his pack of cigarettes and takes one out. Offers her one

Tifa Lockheart says, "No thanks... don't smoke"

Reno nods and lights up. Puts the pack back in his jacket and picks up his glass

Reno says, "what are you doing in here any way? Other then looking for a job..."

Tifa Lockheart says, "Looking for Cloud as well sorta"

Reno says, "Did he say anything before he disappeared?"

Tifa Lockheart says, "Nope... Just sorta up and left... soon as we were done offing Sephiroth"

Reno nods slowly

Reno says, "so, you were ditched to, huh?"

Tifa Lockheart says, "I guess"

Reno pours her a glass and lifts his

Reno says, "toast to being ditched by friends?"

Tifa Lockheart says, "Sure"

Tifa Lockheart clinks her glass against Reno's

Reno clinks glasses and drinks his glass down

Reno says, "yeah..."

Reno sighs

Reno says, "I'm bored and lonely"

Tifa Lockheart says, "Aww... well same here pretty much"

Reno says, "yeah... same boat... weird, huh?"

Tifa Lockheart says, "Yeah... its weird... cuz we can talk and not try to kill each other"

Reno says, "Killing was only part of our jobs... those are now over. I want to forget the damn past... not hold a grudge"

Tifa Lockheart says, "Same here. Got a life to live now that Im don't watching Cloud hog all the glory"

Reno says, "yeah... life to live is good"

Reno pulls at his collar, as if he wants to say something but is afraid

Tifa Lockheart says, "You look uncomfy"

Reno says, "well... it's just... "

Reno sighs and looks at her

Tifa Lockheart drinks boredly

Reno says, "Tifa... do you hate me at all?"

Tifa Lockheart says, "Not now...."

Reno says, "That's good... Tifa, seeing that we are both bored and alone... um... would you like to have dinner with me?"

Tifa Lockheart says, "Uh... sure"

Reno grins a little stupidly

Reno says, "Really? Cool"

Tifa Lockheart says, "Yeah... free dinner!"

Reno chuckles

Reno says, "yeah, that's good "

Reno gets up from the table

Reno says, "when then? I'm always free... got nothing to do"

Tifa Lockheart says, "Whenever. Sure... it's not like I have anyplace to go... I don't have a home anymore"

Reno frowns

Tifa Lockheart says, "You squished it"

Reno says, "oh yeah... I had to push the damn button... but if I hadn't, they'd have killed me and done it any way. So I thought, might as well do it and be alive, cause it would be done no matter what I did"

Tifa Lockheart says, "True..."

Tifa Lockheart sighs

Reno says, "how many people did you guys warn out of there?"

Tifa Lockheart says, "Not very many at all. By the time we got there..."

Reno sighs

Reno says, "so, you just ran up to the top?"

Tifa Lockheart says, "Yeah.... Biggs... Wedge and Jessie..."

Tifa Lockheart sighs

Tifa Lockheart says, "Marlene got out... that's all I really know"

Reno nods

Reno says, "well, at least she was saved. One is better then none"

Reno strokes his fingers through his hair

Tifa Lockheart says, "Yeah..."

Reno says, "I must say Tifa, you are an excellent fighter. You bested Rude and I, and even Sephiroth himself"

Tifa Lockheart says, "Cloud did most of it"

Reno says, "yeah, but still... I felt your punches. You're are quiet good"

Tifa Lockheart says, "I am a master of my arts... well just about anyway"

Reno grins

Reno says, "you seem it"

Reno cracks his knuckles

Tifa Lockheart tenses a little

Reno says, "hmm? Oh, sorry... just had to crack them"

Reno finishes his cigarette and snuffs it out

Reno says, "Tifa?"

Tifa Lockheart says, "What we gonna eat?"

Reno says, "what do you like? I'll eat anything"

Tifa Lockheart says, "Same here"

Reno says, "hey, that's cool. Hmm, well... "

Reno scratches the back of his head

Reno says, "I can cook a little"

Tifa Lockheart says, "Oh... you can.... A man that cooks... wow"

Reno says, "yeah... I've been on my own since I was 14. So, I sort of had to learn to cook"

Tifa Lockheart says, "ahh...well wanna cook me something?"

Reno says, "sure"

Reno grins a little

Reno says, "I'd be honored... don't know how good it will be though"

Tifa Lockheart says, "As long as it isn't trail mix I'd be happy"

Reno says, "heh, ok then"

Reno leads her to the door

Reno says, "want to go then?"

Tifa Lockheart says, "Sure... Im a lil tipsy though, I don't normally drink"

Reno says, "ah"

Reno helps her to his home. Walks in with her and looks around

Reno says, "hmm, I really should clean up in here"

Tifa Lockheart says, "Not too bad.... "

Reno moves around some of the junk

Reno says, "I've lived here a while... but had to work in Midgar a lot"

Tifa Lockheart says, "Is there a house under here?"

Reno says, "some where"

Tifa Lockheart pokes at some dirty clothes

Tifa Lockheart says, "If I stick around I may have to clean"

Reno says, "nah... I don't make anyone clean up"

Reno finds his way to the kitchen

Tifa Lockheart says, "I'd just do it for something to do"

Reno pokes around, checking for edible food supplies

Tifa Lockheart moves stuff around trying to find a chair

Reno tosses out some rotted stuff

Reno says, "hmm... ahh... found something edible"

Tifa Lockheart says, "Oh really?"

Tifa Lockheart pokes her head in the kitchen

Tifa Lockheart says, "You sure it's not a sock?"

Reno says, "heh heh, funny"

Reno looks around for some clean pots. Actually finds one

Tifa Lockheart steps on a pair of trousers that appear to be crawling away

Reno places it on the stove after cleaning it off. Dumps some water in the pot. Dumps some noodles in there and starts up the stove. Walks over to Tifa

Reno says, "sorry... I'm a mess"

Tifa Lockheart says, "Its okay"

Reno says, "thanks"

Tifa Lockheart says, "Need a room mate?"

Reno says, "yeah, why?"

Tifa Lockheart says, "I don't got anywhere to live.... I can sleep on the couch... if I can find it"

Reno blinks

Reno says, "sure... that'd be cool... don't get company any more"

Tifa Lockheart grins

Tifa Lockheart says, "Kewl... now I just gotta find a job..."

Reno says, "yeah, a job would be nice"

Tifa Lockheart says, "Aww C'mon Reno... you got skills. Unlike me"

Reno says, "You got skills too Tifa. I mean, you were one of the people that saved the world from Sephiroth"

Tifa Lockheart says, "Who needs a hero... there's no one to save"

Reno says, "who knows, heroes will always be needed"

Tifa Lockheart says, "True... but right now our big Hero is AWOL"

Reno says, "yeah, I wonder where he is"

Reno walks back over to the pot, which is now bubbling

Reno says, "hmm, I think it's done"

Reno turns off the heat and pours out the water

Tifa Lockheart says, "Guess it doesn't matter where he is... he's his own person"

Reno says, "yeah"

Reno dumps the noodles into two separate bowls after spicing them up a bit

Tifa Lockheart says, "I made so many passes at him"

Reno brings them over to Tifa and hands one to her along with a set of chopsticks

Reno says, "and what happened?"

Tifa Lockheart says, "He never paid attention"

Reno says, "maybe he was not interested"

Reno picks at his noodles before trying them

Tifa Lockheart says, "Maybe...."

Tifa Lockheart picks up some noodles with her chopsticks and eats them

Reno says, "hmm, not bad.... I'm still alive, heh "

Tifa Lockheart says, "Me too"

Reno says, "that means it's a success in my book"

Tifa Lockheart says, "It's better than some of the stuff I've eaten"

Reno says, "hey, a complement! Thanks"

Reno smiles and eats his noodles

Tifa Lockheart eats rather self consciously

Reno puts his empty bowl and chopsticks on the counter and looks at her

Tifa Lockheart finishes eating and catches Reno staring at her

Reno didn't think he was staring, just looking

Tifa Lockheart says, "So... "

Reno says, "yes?"

Tifa Lockheart says, "What do we do now?"

Reno says, "don't know, any ideas?"

Tifa Lockheart says, "Nope...."

Reno says, "me neither"

Tifa Lockheart sighs

Tifa Lockheart says, "Some dinner date I am"

Reno says, "Aww, it's ok"

Reno walks over to a pile and shifts the stuff around, reviling a black leather couch

Tifa Lockheart says, "hey... there is a chair.... A couch even"

Reno brushes the stuff off it and sits down

Tifa Lockheart says, "Hey Reno... you think? Cloud... he might be... gay or something? He never showed any interest in me or Aeris... an we were throwing ourselves at him practically"

Reno says, "want to sit down? Yeah... That's what I think"

Tifa Lockheart nods and sits down on the couch

Reno says, "looks at her"

Tifa Lockheart says, "You make good money as a Turk?"

Reno says, "yeah. How about you?"

Tifa Lockheart says, "Tending a bar in the slums? Hardly"

Reno sighs

Reno says, "how was AVALANCHE any way?"

Tifa Lockheart says, "We were really close... except for cloud"

Reno says, "how did Cloud join?"

Tifa Lockheart says, "I found him at the train station one day...."

Reno listens to her story

Tifa Lockheart says, "He said he had quit solider and was a mercenary and stuff.... I thought he might be able to help. So I took him in and told him about Avalanche"

Reno says, "and?"

Tifa Lockheart says, "He decided to help... if he got paid.... So Barret paid him"

Reno says, "ah, That's sort of the ShinRa way... money or nothing"

Tifa Lockheart says, "I was hoping he'd wise up and help us cuz of the planet... but he always seemed to be in it for just himself. Even when he was after Sephiroth... it was for his revenge... not mine... or any other's"

Reno says, "Revenge?"

Tifa Lockheart says, "Against Sephiroth I guess"

Reno says, "for what?"

Tifa Lockheart says, "his home town... his life... Not sure"

Tifa Lockheart shrugs

Reno says, "odd"

Reno sighs and leans back

Reno says, "Rufus sent us after Sephiroth too... "

Tifa Lockheart says, "Well sephiroth did murder his father"

Reno chuckles

Reno says, "Tifa... no he didn't. That's what he wanted you to believe"

Tifa Lockheart says, "But the masamune was...."

Reno says, "You saw Sephiroth with it later.... So how could it have been the same one that was left in the Prez? Answer, it wasn't... the one in the Prez was a fake"

Tifa Lockheart says, "You serious? Then who killed him?"

Reno says, "Who else was there that night? Other then that fat ass Palmer?"

Tifa Lockheart says, "Umm... well Rufus' chopper showed up after..."

Reno says, "yeah, but he wasn't flying it"

Tifa Lockheart says, "You're saying he did it?"

Reno says, "yeah"

Reno gazes over at her

Tifa Lockheart says, "Why would he?"

Reno says, "what do you mean?"

Tifa Lockheart says, "Why would he kill his own dad.... Was he that power hungry?"

Reno says, "I told you, for how ever evil his father was, he was far worse"

Tifa Lockheart nods

Reno says, "so, He really was power hungry. Also, there are a few rumors that he used to be beaten and stuff when he was a kid"

Tifa Lockheart says, "Was he a real freaky kid then?"

Reno says, "yeah..."

Tifa Lockheart nods

Reno says, "so, what should we talk about now?"

Tifa Lockheart says, "Dunno, How bout you tell me about yourself?"

Reno says, "ok"

Reno thinks

Reno says, "well, I used to be a hotheaded kid... until a fight with five bullies in my home town taught me other wise. I was alone against them. I wound up in the hospital... along with another one... but one of the 5 wound up dead cause of me. At 14 I left home and went to Midgar. I wanted to be a Turk"

Tifa Lockheart says, "Sounds like what Cloud did. He got picked on a lot... started fights often..."

Reno says, "hmm, did he kill someone?"

Tifa Lockheart says, "Nope... but my dad blamed him for almost killing me"

Reno says, "oh, what happened?"

Tifa Lockheart says, "I fell up in the mountains... Cloud was following me... it wasn't his fault. I was Unconscious for at least a week"

Reno says, "why'd he get blamed then?"

Tifa Lockheart says, "He was there..."

Reno says, "oh... well..."

Reno sighs and scratches his head

Reno says, "what about you?"

Tifa Lockheart says, "Me... Well I grew up in a dinky little town... my mom died... when I was around 13.... I always hung around with the boys in the town... I was kinda a tomboy"

Reno says, "ah, is that how you wound up being good with your fists?"

Tifa Lockheart says, "Well... I took up training with master Zangan "

Reno grins

Reno says, "well..."

Tifa Lockheart says, "He taught me how to fight"

Reno says, "that's good. Everyone should know how to fight"

Tifa Lockheart smiles

Tifa Lockheart says, "I can fight... only thing Im not good at is flirting"

Reno smiles too

Reno says, "well, I know both... I'm sort of an old time flirt myself"

Tifa Lockheart says, "I suck at it"

Reno says, "oh"

Reno looks at Tifa and sighs softly

Tifa Lockheart says, "What's wrong?"

Reno says, "oh, nothing.... Just wondering to myself"

Tifa Lockheart says, "Hmmm... Wondering what?"

Reno says, "well... about you actually"

Tifa Lockheart says, "What about me?"

Reno says, "oh... I just..."

Reno sighs

Reno says, "I'm lonely... you're lonely... all that stuff"

Tifa Lockheart says, "Hmmm?"

Reno sighs

Reno says, "not interested I'd think..."

Tifa Lockheart smiles

Reno raises an eyebrow

Reno says, "Aww, so you won't punch me if I call you enchanting?"

Tifa Lockheart says, "Nope"

Tifa Lockheart pinches him instead

Reno says, "yeah"

Reno kisses her suddenly

Tifa Lockheart says, "Im tickling and kissing a guy who nearly killed me a few weeks ago..."

Reno says, "hey, me in reverse. You tried to kill me too... but that was all cause of business, that neither of us is in any more"

Tifa Lockheart says, "True..."

Reno says, "and, it's in the past... we are starting over"

Tifa Lockheart says, "Yeah... new beginnings!"

Reno grins

Reno says, "yeah"

Reno strokes her long hair some more

Tifa Lockheart says, "So... got any other things hidden in this mess?"

Reno says, "nah... If I had some other girlfriend I would not have been bored in a bar"

Reno kisses her cheek

Reno says, "so, you really want to stay here?"

Reno strokes the side of her cheek
