Reeve slowly walks up to Scarlett

Reeve says, "h...hi!"

Scarlett looks up, nearly spilling out of her chair

Scarlett says, "Reeve?"

Reeve says, "yes! W...what do you want?"

Scarlett says, "wha? I'm just sitting back here"

Reeve says, "I thought you were DEAD! WHAT is up with this?"

Scarlett says, "I barely survived..."

Reeve says, "damn it... er... that, that's good"

Scarlett says, "but, I didn't want to die trapped with Heidegger... I hated that guy..."

Reeve says, "well you woulda... um... glad that you're alive"

Reeve o O (bitch)

Scarlett sighs, drinking

Scarlett says, "yeah..."

Reeve faces the other way

Scarlett says, "Reeve... what have you been up to since the fall of ShinRa?"

Reeve shakes his head

Reeve says, "nothing... I'm out of a job... I had to sell my house... I hate myself"

Scarlett says, "I'm out of a job too... why do you hate yourself? You helped save the world"

Reeve says, "maybe... but..."

Scarlett says, "More then I did... I tried to stop you cause of that dumb as Hojo and Heidegger..."

Reeve trails off

Reeve says, "why am I even talking to you... AAAGH"

Reeve lowers his head. Collapses in a sobbing heap on the bar

Reeve says, "s...something different about you..."

Scarlett sighs

Reeve looks up

Reeve says, "you're not acting yourself..."

Scarlett says, "no, I am... I never used too"

Reeve says, "w.... What do you mean? There IS something not quite right about you..."

Scarlett says, "I guess its cause ShinRa is gone"

Reeve sits facing Scarlett

Scarlett says, "good riddance... even thought we are now out of jobs"

Reeve says, "actually... I'm glad ShinRa is gone... they never listened to my ideas..."

Scarlett says, "yes"

Reeve says, "I could have made them see the wrong in their ways"

Scarlett says, "I doubt it... "

Reeve sighs

Reeve says, "would you like a drink?"

Scarlett finishes the one she has

Scarlett says, "sure, if you're buying"

Reeve says, "sure. What'll it be?"

Scarlett says, "anything"

Reeve orders a glass of red wine and places it before Scarlett

Scarlett says, "Thank you"

Reeve smiles a little then sighs again

Reeve says, "tell me... what are you doing here anyway?"

Scarlett says, "being bored..."

Reeve says, "this is the last place I'd expect to see you"

Scarlett drinks her wine

Scarlett says, "why?"

Reeve shrugs

Reeve says, "I though that you were always too "good" for bars"

Scarlett says, "good?"

Reeve says, "never mind"

Scarlett sighs

Reeve bites his knuckle

Reeve says, "where are you gonna go now that ShinRa is dead?"

Scarlett says, "no clue, I'm bored"

Reeve says, "me too. There's never anything going on anymore"

Reeve pokes at some crumbs on the table

Scarlett says, "so, Reeve, what happened to Cloud and your other rebel friends?"

Reeve shakes his head

Reeve says, "who knows... who cares..."

Scarlett says, "you don't know?"

Reeve shakes his head

Reeve says, "they are their own people"

Scarlett says, "oh"

Reeve says, "I have more important things to worry about"

Scarlett says, "such as?"

Reeve says, "you wouldn't care"

Scarlett says, "oh, Really?"

Reeve says, "I'm shocked... usually you show no interest in much of anyone"

Scarlett says, "well..."

Reeve says, "I have no house... I live in the slums now... I have no significant other to keep me company... and I have almost no money left. I'm going to die cold, lonely, and poor...."

Scarlett says, "you still live in Midgar?"

Reeve nods

Reeve says, "there's nowhere to go"

Scarlett says, "I thought no one lived there any more"

Reeve says, "it's cold... I live a solitary life almost"

Scarlett says, "sounds like me, but I live here"

Reeve says, "few people live on the outskirts o the downed sector five. They comb sector five in search of goods that are still intact from Wall Market. It's a shame that people have to live like this"

Scarlett says, "yeah"

Scarlett sighs

Reeve says, "one time I even climbed to the tower ruins. I found some food there... so how are you living and where?"

Scarlett says, "what did you find at the tower?"

Reeve says, "not much. Half of it is charred"

Scarlett says, "true..."

Reeve says, "it stops at floor 67 now... 68 and 69 are blasted all to hell..."

Scarlett says, "That's why I said Rufus had to be dead... no reason to have checked"

Reeve says, "but... I heard that he was alive. I found out in Junon"

Scarlett says, "when were you there?"

Reeve says, "in my travel... I have nothing to do"

Scarlett says, "who said he was alive?"

Reeve says, "the locals were talking a lot and I overheard it in a bar. I heard that the president of ShinRa was in town... but he was supposed to be dead..."

Scarlett says, ".... But, there is no way he could have survived that blast. He was in his office on the top floor!"

Reeve says, "I... but people insisted that they saw him. He was with what they say was a scrawny punk with a strange hairdo... sounds like Cloud Strife"

Scarlett stares at Reeve

Scarlett says, "this sounds like a bad dream"

Reeve says, "but what would he want with Rufus? Yea... all a bad dream. This doesn't make sense"

Scarlett says, "what doesn't?"

Reeve says, "this whole thing"

Scarlett says, "what whole thing?"

Reeve says, "Rufus being alive"

Scarlett says, "yeah, I know"

Reeve shakes the thought from his head

Reeve says, "I don't wanna think about it"

Scarlett says, "yes"

Reeve says, "so how are things with you?"

Scarlett says, "bored as I told you before"

Reeve says, "C'mon you have to do something all day"

Scarlett says, "hmmm? What do you mean Reeve?"

Reeve says, "who do you talk to? What do you do?"

Scarlett says, "no one, nothing. Basically, I just wander around, bored..."

Reeve says, "gee..."

Reeve thinks for a bit

Reeve says, "stick with me... we can keep each other company... err... if you want to"

Scarlett says, "sounds good... got no one else to talk to"

Reeve says, "I was on my way back home... shall we go exploring?"

Scarlett says, "where?"

Reeve says, "Midgar... home"

Scarlett sighs

Reeve says, "there's always something in Wall Market that if you look hard enough, is still good"

Scarlett says, "I don't want to go back to Midgar"

Reeve says, "but then where? I'm open to suggestions"

Scarlett says, "I got no clue.... Just not there"

Reeve says, "you pick"

Scarlett says, "maybe we should find out if the rumors are true"

Reeve says, "sounds good"

Scarlett finishes her wine

Reeve nods

Reeve says, "shall we be off?"

Scarlett says, "now? Ok..."

Reeve says, "unless you wanna wait some more and talk. The dangerous part... how do we get to the mythril mines without becoming a Midgar Zolom's lunch?"

Scarlett says, "hmm, Chocobo"

Reeve says, "but I can't afford one"

Scarlett says, "catch one then"

Reeve says, "I can't afford the materia, but, we can be stowaways on something like a plane or a boat"

Scarlett says, "true"

Reeve nods

Scarlett thinks about it

Reeve says, "you've changed, Scarlett..."

Scarlett says, "how so?"

Scarlett says, "I had to stow it while working for ShinRa"

Reeve finds himself holding her hand, but quickly lets go when he notices

Scarlett sighs and stands up

Scarlett says, "ok, I'm ready"

Reeve nods and stands

Reeve says, "me too. I'm gonna like travelling with you I think"

Reeve holds the door open

Scarlett says, "wow, well... that's good to know"

Reeve smiles

Scarlett grins and walks out
