Sephiroth peeks into the rich guy's house

Palmer looks at the window

Sephiroth ducks down. Sneaks quietly around the house

Palmer walks to the window

Sephiroth carefully climbs up a drain pipe and gets onto the roof

Palmer says, "damn kids..."

Palmer goes back to his tea with honey and sugar... and LARD

Sephiroth looks at the attic window and grins as he notes that it is unlocked. Sneaks into the attic

Palmer says, "Grrr... what's the noise all about?"

Sephiroth takes his foot away from the creaking floor bored

Palmer ignores the noisy attic

Sephiroth o O (this rich man is home... I wonder when he leaves...)

Palmer looks at his watch

Palmer says, "HOLY SHIT... MY LUNCH BREAK WAS OVER HALF AN HOUR AGO"

Sephiroth hears that and raises a silver eyebrow

Palmer jumps up and grabs his coat, running out the door, making sure to lock it

Sephiroth goes down into the rest of the house and looks around

Sephiroth says, "heh.... I'm only 13 and I've already hit a jackpot"

Sephiroth grins and looks around for a money vault

Sephiroth says, "ohh... what's this guy got?"

Sephiroth opens the cabinets; grinning cause his black gloves will prevent fingerprints

Palmer runs back in because he forgot his wallet

Sephiroth hears him coming and hides himself in a closet

Palmer says, "damn it damn it damn it"

Palmer gropes around on the table

Sephiroth has Palmer's wallet"

Palmer says, "Doh... where is it..."

Palmer searches around more

Sephiroth o O (uh oh... is he looking for this?)

Sephiroth looks at the wallet in his hands

Palmer says, "Grrr... where IS it"

Palmer starts to check the counter. Opens some top drawers and spills their contents out

Palmer says, "what the hell...?"

Palmer looks at some open drawers

Palmer says, "who the hell?"

Sephiroth tries to stop breathing so he is not heard

Palmer draws his Mako gun

Palmer says, "WHO IS HERE?"

Sephiroth climbs up to the top of the closet... pinning himself to the ceiling

Palmer says, "damn it"

Sephiroth listens to what is going on outside the door

Palmer walks to his safe in the corner

Palmer turns the dial... 36...10... 53... 97

Palmer says, "there..."

Palmer opens it and takes out a spare wad of cash and an extra keycard. Shuts the safe and walks out again

Sephiroth climbs back down and listens

Palmer leaves his house and locks the door

Sephiroth opens the closet and looks at the save

Sephiroth says, "hmmm... so that's where you are"

Sephiroth grins and takes out a tiny vile of acid. Uses it to melt open the lock of the safe. Opens the safe and looks inside. Takes the large amount of gil from the safe and places it in his pouch. Opens the fridge when he hears his stomach rumble

Palmer walks in again, because he forgot his tie

Sephiroth dives into the closet

Palmer spots the little kid at his fridge

Palmer says, "hey... who are you? H... how did you get here?"

Sephiroth grits his teeth... knowing he has been spotted

Palmer kneels down on the floor and peers into the closet

Palmer says, "get out now... or... eh... oh, my... your face is dirty"

Sephiroth swings the closet door open and bangs Palmer in the head with it

Palmer says, "here... would you like a washcloth? OW, BAD KID"

Sephiroth uses Palmers a volt bored and dives over him and into the living room

Sephiroth looks around... his long silver hair swinging from side to side. Vaults to the stairs

Palmer says, "...oog..."

Palmer stands up and runs after the kid

Sephiroth trips on something as he heads up the stairs

Palmer grabs the boy

Sephiroth growls

Palmer holds the boy so he can't hurt him

Palmer lets go... startled

Palmer says, "kiddo... who are you? You're a mess..."

Palmer says, "what do you want?"

Sephiroth looks around

Palmer says, "look at you... your face is dirty"

Sephiroth says, "Grrr... it's cause your attic is messed up"

Palmer says, "Gah... go upstairs and wash up, kiddo. Attic, eh? So that's how all the bats are getting in..."

Sephiroth says, "wha?"

Palmer says, "Nevermind... go wash up"

Sephiroth blinks and stumbles back from him

Palmer says, "...what's the matter?"

Sephiroth says, "ok... you're weirding me out man"

Palmer says, "go wash up NOW... then come back here and explain yourself"

Sephiroth o O (um... why is this guy telling me to wash up? I do want to...)

Sephiroth says, "humph... I'll do it for myself not cause of you"

Sephiroth runs up to the bathroom

Palmer says, "Grrr..."

Sephiroth gets himself washed up... and looks at his glowing Mako green eyes in the mirror. Walks out of the bathroom

Palmer says, "COME DOWN, KID"

Sephiroth walks down... shrugging

Palmer says, "your eyes..."

Sephiroth says, "what about them?"

Palmer says, "Mako... kid, who are your parents? Where did you come from?"

Sephiroth says, "Parents? I don't have any. My mom died giving birth to me"

Palmer says, "no parents? Where do you live?"

Sephiroth says, "I never knew my dad. Where ever I can get shelter"

Palmer says, "..."

Palmer points to his pouch

Palmer says, "keep it then... poor kid... you need it more than I do..."

Sephiroth raises a silver eyebrow

Palmer actually feels bad

Sephiroth says, "wow... never thought you ShinRa types would have some compassion"

Palmer says, "well... some don't"

Sephiroth folds his arms

Sephiroth says, "like?"

Palmer kneels down to see the boy eye to eye. Places a hand on his shoulder

Palmer says, "do you need a place to stay?"

Sephiroth says, "I can make it on my own"

Palmer sighs

Palmer says, "...alright..."

Sephiroth says, "what is with you?"

Palmer o O (my one chance at having some company at this empty house...)

Palmer says, "oh... nothing... go now..."

Sephiroth thinks about it a second

Sephiroth says, "eh... I'll be fine... I'll join SOLDIER when I turn 14..."

Palmer says, "ok..."

Sephiroth says, "They'll make sure I get food and shelter... but I'm keeping my clothing"

Sephiroth moves away from Palmer and quickly leaves out the front door

Palmer says, "ok... ok..."

Palmer is now an hour late for work.

Palmer steps away from the hot dog cart in the street

Palmer says, "aaaaaah... foot long..."

Scarlett walks over to Palmer

Palmer sits on a park bench to eat lunch. Looks up

Palmer says, "hey bitch... er... Scarlett"

Scarlett says, "come on... we've been ordered to meet with the war Hero Sephiroth. I'm not a bitch fat man"

Palmer says, "what? I said nothing"

Scarlett grins

Palmer says, "Sephiroth? Who's that...?"

Scarlett says, "You don't know? Heidegger has said he's the most important member of SOLDIER... a great hero of the war"

Palmer says, "ok ok... where is he?"

Scarlett says, "come on... he's in the ShinRa building"

Palmer nods and follows Scarlett

Palmer says, "Scarlett... where is this hero, huh?"

Scarlett leads him into the room

Sephiroth is there with his back to them

Palmer says, "eh... him?"

Scarlett says, "yeah... I'll be right back... I need to get something"

Scarlett walks out

Palmer says, "that scrawny guy...? ... What did he do to his hair?"

Sephiroth looks back over his shoulder... his Mako green eyes brightly glowing

Palmer gasps

Palmer says, "years ago... I never forget a face"

Sephiroth says, "really?"

Palmer says, "S... Sephiroth...?"

Sephiroth says, "That's my name"

Palmer says, "you were that boy..."

Sephiroth says, "were?"

Palmer says, "I can't believe this... you got your wish, kiddo..."

Sephiroth chuckles and swishes his Masamune

Palmer says, "and you also got 3000 credits out of my safe... Grrr..."

Sephiroth says, "according to Heidegger I am the strongest SOLDIER there is"

Palmer says, "man... that must be because of all your street-smarts"

Sephiroth says, "Might be"

Palmer extends a hand

Palmer says, "pleasure to meet you again, kiddo"

Sephiroth looks at the hand then shakes it

Palmer glares at the Masamune, getting a slight uneasy feeling

Sephiroth says, "What's wrong there?"

Sephiroth fixes Palmer with a look

Palmer says, "n... nothing's wrong"

Sephiroth says, "You glared at my Masamune"

Palmer says, "it's huge"

Sephiroth swings it up

Sephiroth says, "very effective"

Palmer says, "who forged it?"

Sephiroth says, "I cannot say"

Palmer says, "what do you mean? Do you know who forged it?"

Sephiroth folds his arms, pointing the blade upward

Palmer says, "Nevermind"

Sephiroth says, "are you afraid?"

Palmer says, "no, not afraid"

Sephiroth swings the blade back down

Palmer says, "c... can I hold it... pleeeeease"

Sephiroth says, "You'd never be able to wield it"

Palmer says, "uh..."

Sephiroth strokes his fingers through his long silver hair

Sephiroth says, "how did you recognize me?"

Palmer says, "you were in my house"

Sephiroth says, "yeah... and you remembered that?"

Palmer nods

Sephiroth says, "why?"

Palmer says, "I have no life"

Sephiroth chuckles

Sephiroth says, "so you remember some one in your house?"

Palmer nods

Palmer says, "he was you, but years ago"

Sephiroth says, "2 years"

Palmer nods

Palmer says, "where did you stay for those years?"

Sephiroth says, "I joined SOLDIER when I turned 14"

Palmer says, "yes... but you used to be a homeless kid who stole from people... now look at you"

Sephiroth says, "yeah... still the same clothes though... I make my own"

Sephiroth swings his Masamune down

Sephiroth says, "you know... I never got your name"

Palmer says, "my name... Palmer"

Sephiroth nods

Sephiroth says, "Any way... Palmer... I think I have to go now and deal with some recruits"

Palmer nods

Palmer says, "nice meeting you, sir"

Sephiroth says, "I do suppose..."

Sephiroth walks out of the room without another word
