Fishing In Balamb ~ Silver Rayne & Rufus Safer

Silver Rayne: This is my very first RPG chat that actually began to turn into a story! Even though I rarely have time to come online anymore, I must thank Rufus Safer for making this fanfic extremely fun to write. She is also the first person who got me to RP for more than 30 minutes. Domo arigatou Rufus-chan for the inspiration! *hugs*

Chapter 1
By: Silver Rayne & Rufus Safer

Seifer sat in his usual spot, trying to fish off the pier of Balamb. He sighed and looked out over the water.

At that exact same time, Irvine had decided to take a walk down to that pier to practice shooting at discs.

Seifer heard his foot steps and looked up at him, green eyes flashing at the cowboy.

Irvine paid Seifer no attention, not wanting to waste his time with idle chatter. He had come to blow off some steam and his collection of fine china would come in handy soon. So he walked past Seifer, giving him an icy stare

Seifer stood up and took his pole up with him. "What's your problem?" He asked.

But Irvine pretended as if he hadn't heard. He didn't walk to talk to anybody at the moment. Taking one disc in hand, he hurled it over the water and blew it to pieces with his Ulysses.

Seifer walked over to where he was standing and folded his arms. "What about that fine china you are destroying?"

"What about it?" Irvine shrugged, taking a shot at a perfectly good tea cup. "The way I figure it, it doesn't belong to you so you should be minding your own business."

"It is my business when you're scaring the fish."

"For your information, blonde boy, the fish can't hear the noise. You shouldn't be fishing here anyway. There are regulations, ya know. Do you have a permit?" Irvine pointed the barrel of his gun underneath Seifer's chin.

Seifer didn't even blink. "Yes, I have one.. and it's not the noise, it's the pieces dropping into the water... it scares the fish."

"So?" Irvine didn't like how calm and collected Seifer appeared to be. "Go fish someplace else." He went back to firing into the air.

"This is my fishing spot... It's always been my spot when no other fisherman wants to use it. Now, why are you here using it as an illegal firing range?"

"Illegal? What are you - a cop?" Irvine stormed back over to Seifer and gave him a great big shove. "Stop bullying me around."

Seifer went back a few steps but kept his balance. "No, I'm not a cop. Since when have you been in a bad mood? I thought you were Mr. I'm-always-so-happy?"

Irvine glared sideways at Seifer. "If I tell you, will you shut up and leave me alone?"

"Yes."

"Squall won't go out with me."

"He's going out with Rinoa, what do you expect?" Seifer didn't seem the least bit surprised about what Irvine had said.

Irvine poked Seifer's arm. "Didn't you hear what I just said? I asked _Squall_ out! Another man. And I don't care who he's going out with, he didn't have to knock me down a flight of stairs."

"He isn't gay... I should know. I've been trying to get him into my bed for years..." Seifer turned and looked out over the water.

"Really?" Suddenly Irvine was all ears. "You're gay?" He forgot their surroundings and exclaimed the 'gay' part a little bit too loud. "Really?"

Seifer rolled his eyes. "That never occurred to you?"

"No? Then again, you didn't seem too impressed when I told you Squall rejected me." Irvine shoved his hands into his pockets. "Well, it's been nice talking with you. I'm going back to my dorm to sulk."

"Hold on a minute.. a moment ago you were ready to bite my head off and now you're being nice? What's with that?"

"Geez! Why do you question everything I do?" Out of frustration, Irvine gave Seifer another shove. "There, are you happy? I'm mean again."

Seifer nearly fell into the water but managed to latch onto Irvine to stop himself. "No, I'm not happy. You seem very moody."

"I'm not moody." Irvine took out a tissue, turning away from Seifer to dry his eyes. "I'm just not happy."

"Welcome to my world... I'm never happy."

"With your bad attitude I wouldn't be happy either," he muttered. "That nice scar on Squall's face is reason enough for him to go straight. Thanks a lot."

"He's been straight.. you just don't go straight..."

"Wanna bet? I can go straight anytime I please."

Seifer laughed. "Fine.. be dumb... I'll see you around." Seifer brushed past him, pulling his fishing rod along.

"Dumb?" Irvine hunched his shoulders, teeth grit tight as he grabbed Seifer's arm. "Just because you're some big tough guy doesn't mean that you can go calling me names."

"You can't switch that sort of thing... you're born the way you are."

"I know that. I'm not an idiot!" Irvine circled Seifer with a sly smile on his face. "So what do you think of me?"

"Think of you?" Seifer raised an eyebrow, "In what sense? You're a good marksman..."

"And...?" Irvine tapped his foot impatiently. "You don't think I'm cute?" His eyes filled up with tears. "How am I going to find someone if the only person who thinks I'm cute is Selphie?"

"You're cute... I didn't say you weren't."

"You didn't say I was either." Irvine threw himself into Seifer's arms, wailing about the cruelty of being too cute.

Seifer blinked and looked down at Irvine, patting his back some.

Irvine took it as an invitation, moving a little bit too close to Seifer. "You're so warm..."

"I am? Most people think I'm a cold bastard like Squall."

"I just think that you're misunderstood." Irvine dried his eyes on Seifer's coat sleeve before smiling up at him. "Thanks for making me feel better."

"Um, you're welcome Irvine."

"It's getting kind of late. Do you want to come back to my room?" He instantly regretting asking, knowing how bad it would sound. "For dinner?" He added. "We can cook that scrawny fish you caught."

"Why not? My place is full of pests... I got it so cheap."

Irvine led Seifer back to his place, dumping a pile of un-destroyed china onto the counter. "Make yourself at home. I'm going to change."

Seifer sat down and put a foot up on the coffee table.

Irvine peeked out from his bedroom. "And keep your feet off of my coffee table."

A few minutes later and Irvine slipped into the living room with a towel around his waist. "Sorry, I'm just going to take a shower. I can't really cook so feel free to make yourself useful in the kitchen."

"Ah, I see..." Seifer stood up and went over to the kitchen, looking for a clean pan.

Irvine glowered at the fact that Seifer hadn't even given him a second glance. Here he was totally naked except for a towel and the man didn't even blink. He was beginning to think that he was lousy at seducing men. "Oh Seifer..."

"Yeah?" Seifer continued his search for a clean pan.

Irvine grinned to himself. "Can you find me some soap underneath the bathroom cupboards? I ran out and I can't drip water all over the new tiles."

"Fine..." Seifer went to the bathroom and looked for the soap.

Irvine watched Seifer checking for the soap, knowing that he at least 2 bars sitting right in front of him.

Seifer picked them up and turned back to Irvine.

Irvine tried to keep a straight face while giving Seifer a very good profile of his towel-less body. " Now that you're here, maybe you can help me... I can't reach my back."

Seifer raised a slight eyebrow at Irvine's form, obviously taking him in before walking around to his back.

Irvine couldn't believe that Seifer was actually going to do it. He half expected him to walk out of the room and never come back. He flipped on the switch for the water, forgetting that Seifer was still dressed.

Seifer didn't care that he got wet, he soaped Irvine's back anyway.

Irvine felt all giddy inside, wondering when he was going to wake up and discover that it was just a dream.

But it wasn't a dream because the water hitting his skin was about the same as a pinch, showing that he was awake as the bar of soap in Seifer's hand went up and down his back in a slow stroking motion.

The water seemed to be raising in temperature and Irvine worried that Seifer might become uncomfortable in his clothing. So he turned around and began to unbutton the man's shirt, pulling the soaking ends from Seifer's pants.

Seifer didn't seem at all to mind this and even removed his boots, tossing them out of the shower.

Irvine wondered why Seifer hadn't taken off his boots at the doorway anyhow. He helped Seifer shirk out of his clothing, pausing at his pants. This was his first time bringing another man into his shower and he wasn't too sure what they were supposed to do.

Seifer just went back to cleaning Irvine's back, water spilling across his well muscled form.

But Irvine had a better idea, hugging Seifer around his neck and smiling up at him. "I wish I'd invited you over sooner."

Seifer grinned slightly. "Well, you decided to just be mad at me for a while."

"I wasn't mad at you, I was mad at Squall. Honestly though, you are kind of tough to get all comfy with."

"Really? I thought you said I was warm."

"You are and you aren't. You just don't like to show the kind of good person that you really are."

Seifer chuckled a little, letting the soap bar slip from his hands. "Didn't think I was that much of a good person really."

Irvine just kept staring into Seifer's eyes, as if he were trying to look deep into his soul. "You don't give yourself enough credit."

"What sort of credit should I be giving myself?" Seifer's green eyes stared back.

"I dunno." Irvine suddenly felt shy under Seifer's attentive stare. He took one of Seifer's hands and placed it on his waist. "Maybe stop being so hard on yourself?"

"I guess that would work." Seifer held it there, not seeming to even want to let go.

"And you could also take some initiative. You never say what you _really_ want."

"What I really want? I'm not sure of that any more. Nowadays I'm just drifting through life it seems."

Irvine pressed up against Seifer, pausing for a second before kissing him quickly on the lips. Then he looked away, blushing a bright red.

Seifer grinned more and moved his other hand to turn Irvine's face back to his.

Irvine tried to get over the initial shock of his own impulsiveness. He blinked when he noticed Seifer grinning. "You're actually smiling!"

"Yeah... I never said I didn't smile, now did I?"

"And what are you smiling about?"

"Just your expression... how you got me semi-naked here but you're blushing over a kiss."

"Oh." Irvine brightened, teasing Seifer with another kiss, feeling braver already.

Seifer grinned and moved his hand from the chin to the back of Irvine's head to draw his face closer.

Irvine leaned onto Seifer, closing his eyes and holding his breath for what seemed like an eternity.

Seifer reached back and turned off the water before scooping Irvine up into his arms.

Irvine held onto Seifer even tighter, wondering what would happen next. Seifer headed out of the bathroom, holding Irvine, and sat down on the couch with the other man in his lap.

The sudden change in atmosphere made Irvine feel chilly. He opened his eyes a fraction of a millimeter to see what Seifer was up to, but without letting go.

Seifer started to stroke Irvine's hair, taking it out of the pony tail. Irvine went along with it, brushing the back of his hand over Seifer's jaw line, admiring his strong, proud features.

"We're all wet..." Seifer remarked, holding some of the hair between his fingers.

"And we're soaking my good furniture." Irvine sighed, content to just lay there in Seifer's arms, wet or not.

"Anywhere you'd rather be then the couch?"

"If it's with you, I really don't care. Unless... you want to go to my bedroom?"

"Where is your bedroom?"

Irvine laughed at how fast Seifer accepted the offer. "That way." He pointed to a darkened room that had the blinds drawn, not allowing a peep of light to enter.

Seifer stood back up with Irvine in his arms and headed inside, not even bothering with the light switch as he sat down on the bed

The darkness inspired Irvine to fool around with Seifer's belt buckle until he had unfastened it. He had grown tired of having it poking into him.

Seifer moved his hand down and helped him.

Soon they were both naked and difficult to get too close in places. Irvine smiled seductively at Seifer, crawling upwards on the bed and lying down by the pillows.

Seifer put his hands down on the bed and started to move over him, body dripping from the shower.

Irvine wrapped his arms around Seifer, pulling him down for another kiss.

Seifer's mouth met Irvine's and this time latched on. Irvine parted his lips, kissing Seifer passionately.

Seifer slid his tongue down into Irvine's waiting mouth, letting out a slight moan of delight.

Irvine moaned back, sliding his tongue alone Seifer's and closing his lips on it.

Seifer's muscled body touched against Irvine, causing pleasure to course through both men.

The sensation made Irvine's spine tingle, his hips instinctively pushing into Seifer's.

Seifer was already hard, and that pushed in tight against Irvine as the hips came up.

Irvine gasped as every inch between their bodies was erased by flesh against flesh. He lifted his hips again, rubbing against Seifer's length

Seifer moaned again and thrust his tongue in and out of Irvine's mouth.

Irvine soon became overwhelmed, pulling away to catch his breath but coming back up a second later for more. Slowly, he parted his legs until Seifer could lie between them.

Seifer scooted up, sensing what Irvine wanted. His hardness rubbed up underneath Irvine's, pressing further back.

Irvine moaned, biting down on Seifer's lip as he anxiously pushed down to where he needed attention.

Seifer pushed against the spot Irvine wanted him, not moving his lip even as it was bitten.

Irvine yelped as a sudden wave of pain urged his muscles to clench. He looked up at Seifer, not knowing how to phrase his next request.

Seifer blinked, not quiet expecting the yelp and looked at Irvine in concern. "Um... I haven't done this before. Shouldn't you use something?" Irvine looked around the room for any form of lubricant

"Sorry... thought the water would be slippery enough. Got any oil?"

"Not really. Do you?" Irvine began to worry that they would have to stop just because he was too scared to go up to a store counter with a bottle of lubricant.

"What about shotgun polish or something?"

"I have plenty of that." He reached into a drawer beside the bed and handed over a flask of expensive polish.

"It's non toxic, right?"

Irvine made a face. "Yes it is. I don't even want to know why you asked that."

"Don't want to get sick from it..." Seifer opened the flask and poured some oil onto his hands.

"Nobody asked you to eat it." Irvine sat up to help Seifer, taking the flask and pouring a generous amount into his hands, onto the bedspread and everywhere else.

"That's not what I was worried about." Seifer grinned, spreading it over his cock and then under Irvine.

Irvine settled back to enjoy the tremors going through his lower body every time Seifer touched him. He didn't know how much longer he could wait, urging Seifer on by clamping his thighs to the man's waist.

Seifer grinned at the excitement on Irvine's features. He leaned over and went back to kissing the other man.

Irvine concentrated on their kiss while he ran one hand over Seifer's well defined chest, exploring it as if it were a piece of art. Moving lower, anticipating the way he would drive Seifer insane.

Seifer moved his hands down Irvine's sides slowly as he moved back to pushing against Irvine's tender spot.

Irvine gripped Seifer's thighs to prevent himself from falling backwards. He stayed like that for a few breaths, then pushed down, moaning when Seifer began to enter him.

Seifer kept pushing, working his way into the tightness of Irvine. Seifer's hands gripped the other man's sides securely.

Irvine squeezed his legs partly shut, trying to prevent the pleasure from getting too intense but only succeeding in tightening his grip on Seifer.

Seifer started to thrust into him, pressing closer to Irvine as the heat rose.

Irvine cried out, grabbing into Seifer's arms and sinking his teeth into Seifer's shoulder to stifle the noise as he became delirious.

Seifer managed to ignore the pain of the teeth as he concentrated on pleasuring Irvine with his thrusts.

When Seifer finally reached the spot inside Irvine that indicated he could go no further, Irvine felt his hips quiver. He buried his face into the crook of Seifer's arm and panted hard as he came.

Seifer kept thrusting, trickling down into Irvine's body.

Irvine held tight to Seifer, whispering into his ear. "I love you."

Seifer came into Irvine and lay down his head against Irvine, panting.

Irvine closed his eyes, beginning to let the exhaustion take it's toll on him. He had never felt happier or more complete than with Seifer at this moment.

"You like it?" Seifer purred.

"Mmm... you're the best, Seifer." Irvine kissed Seifer, wanting to stay close to him forever. "Can you stay?"

"Yes, I can stay." Seifer smiled.

"Good." Then Irvine was cuddling up against Seifer, content with a smile on his face. "G'night then."

"Good night, dear Irvine." Seifer kissed his cheek and curled back up with him.
