: It was morning.. and outside the tiny appartment a cat was meowing, ready to be let in. [19:51]
: She woke up with a start, and yelled at the alarm blaring and the cat at the door. " I'M UP!" she held her head for a moment and blinked a few times. Standing up she shuffled to the door and opened the small door for the cat " Morning love" she said reaching down to pet the animal. Standing up straight again she grabbed a cigarette from a depsensor nearby and lit it. " .. I hate mornings" [19:53]
: The cat purred softly, rubbing herself against Padme. - At least this creature loved her unconventionally. Padme had been married at one point.. but her exhusband left with her lawyer.. not much lower then that. Maybe that's why it was hard to quit. - As she lit up her phone wrang. [19:56]
: She took a long deep drag off the cigarette and then answered the phone " hello? " her voice a bit raspy. She leaned aganst the wall and ran a hand through her hair which was cut short. She was dressed in black pants and a tank top that fit tightly over her strong body. [19:57]
: It was one of her old special ops buddies. "Hey Padme.. gonna come take your taxi in for a tune up today? I could really use the busness.. and I know how you like driving those things." [19:59]
: She groaned softly " Everything is fine" the words fell from her lips though of course anyone who knew here knew that wasn't true. Everything was far from fine and her driving was good, but risky. [20:00]
: "Well, why don't you bring it by the shop today anyway.. we can talk about old times.. just you and me." He seemed a bit concerned about her. Had been ever since her husband took off, though just in a friendly way. They wern't eachother's type. [20:01]
: "I'll try to make it in today alright? I've got.. stuff to do" she took another hit off the cigarette and then sat down on the edge of the bed. Her eyes darting to the tiny t.v screen that was in the wall of her beyond tiny apartment. If that is what one could call it. [20:03]
: It wasn't much bigger them some closets. Hell, the shower and the fridge occupied the same space.. and the bed folded back into the wall. At least it was home.. not having to live with her parents just because she was divorced. They would insist she stop smoking at once even if she was trying to quit as it is.. they wouldn't allow the cat.. and they'd try to fix her up with what they called a.. nice.. man. [20:07]
: She really didn't need the pressure she was just divorced recently and it was hard enough as it is to life alone after being with someone. She hung up the phone and lied back on the bed " Alright time to start my day" she mumbled softly and got up to get a quick shower and to get dressed to start her day. [20:08]
: After her clothing was all on there came the customary door check. To see if anyone was waiting outside. Padme didn't live in the best part of town... crime was rampent.. she had been held up several times.. not like they got anything. Infact.. they often left with less then they came with. She had a whole rack of confiscated guns.. curtisy of her special opps training. [21:10]
: She looked out from her door, seeing nothing unusual she opened it up to walk out. She had changed into some clean black pants, white tank to p and a black jacket. She had a weapon tucked under her jacket and a knife in her boot. [21:11]
: Though it seemed there was no one outside from the scan... when the door opened there was someone with a silly hat with a picture of the hallway on it.. and a gun. Clearly the man was a dumbass though... the typical junky. Probably didn't even know how to use the gun propperly. [21:20]
: She sighed heavily " Hi there " she said with a sort of smile on her face. She was not going to fall for this, she already had an idea on how she was going to defeat him. [21:22]
: "Come on.. come on.. gimmie da cash!" He demanded, holding the gun on her in a very bad possition. [22:03]
: She shook her head " ... you need to turn the saftey off" she said with a bit of a smile " It is that yellow button there " she motioned to the button on the side of the gun and waited for him to push it before she contnued on. [22:05]
: He blinked, and quickly pressed it, keeping a grip on his gun. Clearly a moron.. that was the DISARM. - "Gimmie da cash!" He repeated. [22:06]
: Padme shook her head and and watched as the gun slowly powered down, with that she whipped out her own gun and aimed it at his head " .. Here .. let me take that " she said pushing a button and letting her gun bin come down from the ceiling " I'm going to hold on to this alright? " she smiled softly and waited for the man to leave. [22:07]
: The man was shocked. He clearly hadn't expected her to be armed. And when he tried to fire he heard nothing but a pathetic weeze from the gun. It went to her and he backed away. "Sure.. ok.. I don't need it." As he moved off he kicked the ground. [22:08]
: She laughed softly " .. Nice hat " she added tucking the gun away and having the rack go back into the ceiling. her eyes watching the man in the hall way. She almost feld bad for him, it probably wasn'tentirely his fault he was a dumbass. [22:10]
: With that taken care of she had nothing to do but get out there and pick up a fair or two in her taxi. She needed to earn her living. It wasn't anywhere near as dangerous as special ops.. but nothing exciting ever happend there either. [22:12]
: Taking a deep breath she walked on past him and got into her cab, hitting a few switches she turned it on. An annoying male voice came over the computer and informed her of her points and that she needed to put her seatbelt on. " shut up " she mumbled softly as she started out [22:15]
: She didn't need this... Not the harrasment of the liscence. --- She wasn't the only one having a bad day. Up in the a medical tower a body part termed a survivour of a terrible disaster was being placed into a reconstruction chamber. [22:20]
: A small green being stood off to the side watching. He was explaining step by step the process and how excited he was that it was happening. Everything was perfect and simply amazing. [22:21]
: The general was walking up behind him, sighing softly. "Can you really completely recontruct this being? We don't even know if it will be dangerous or not." [22:29]
: "The glass is inpeniterible, and it will be strapped down. " the creature moved off and sat on a small stool. " Now watch" he said motioning to the process. The skeleton being formed first [22:30]
: "Looks humanoid so far." The general remarked, his arms across his chest. His dark eyes were fixed on the tank. At least the glass was bullet proof... the regenerator needed such defense. [22:33]
: As they watched the rest of the body was formed, finally they were left with a male form. Eyes closed, smooth skin and golden locks. He was unaware of what was going on around him at first. ".. He is magnificent" spoke one of the women in the room. " no.." Yoda spoke " he is perfect" [22:35]
: The general dropped his arms to the sides, plucking the security card out of its slot. "We should take some pictures..." He suggested.. --- The figure in the chamber started to stir as bands that served as clothing were slid over his body. [22:38]
: The small camera slide out over the glass as it reached his upper body it flashed bright and started to slowly slide back again . [22:39]
: That jolted him fully away. He screamed for a momment.. because the last thing he remembered.. was fire and wreckage.. horrible pain... then blackness. The ship.. it had exploded! Where was he now? - Flipping over he gazed about and saw humans for the most part.. and a few humanoid things. [22:42]
: They were watching him wondering what he was doing. Slowly one of the men walked closer to the class " Do you want out? " he asked waving the key before Anakins face " You'll have to learn to speak " he said witha bright grin on his face. [22:45]
: ~Let me out, I need to get moving.. we don't have much time~ He shouted, not understanding what the guy was talking about. He couldn't understand him at all. - However, he did know when he was being threatened. Were these the agents of darkness? the ones he was built to defend against? - Lowering his eyes he crouched by the front of the glass and waited for him to move even closer. [22:47]
: Moving closer he spoke in a slow tone trying to make it 'easier' for him to understand. "You.. need to ... work on your .. com.. mun..i...cation skills" he waved the key before Anakins face yet again. His face moved into a sly grin and watched the 'perfect being' [22:49]
: The key... Anakin understood what that was for. It might have been five thousand years but he recognized an opening when he saw it. - Reaching one hand back he drove his fist straight through the glass. Some might call it unbreakible but not him. He grabbed the man by the shirt and slammed him towards the container before seizing the key. - With it in the lock the containment shell pulled open letting him out. [22:51]
: The man fell to the ground unconcious and within moments guards where called in to dubdue him. He was not going to get away, they needed him. So within moments the room was filled with guards with weapons aimed at him. [22:52]
: Anakin blinked. Well, he wasn't going to get them all down with them lined up the way they were. Too much space.. however, there was another way out. He could tell that the walls were like swiss cheese to him.. easy to get through. - Running off to one side he took a dive and went straight through.. much to the shock of those present. [22:57]
: Everyone gasped and they quickly sent guards out to search for him. -- Near by Padme was stuck in traffic arguing with herself and with the computer that was bitching at her for what was happening. " .. damn it.. shut up!" she barked as she tried to make her way past the other vehicles [22:57]
: The next thing she knew.. something slammed into her taxi.. not from behind or to the side.. but from above. Something FELL out of the sky and landed through the roof into her back seak. [19:46]
: This of course cause quite a stir, and she nearly crrashed the entire cab. When she got control o fit again she turned around to see what had crashed into the back. No that it mattered, she was in trouble now anyway [19:48]
: The liscence box barked a 'You have one point left' at her as she stopped to check on what could possibly be in her back seat. - a hand suddenly came into view.. human looking, and still moving dispite the fact that whatever it was attached to just made a hole in her roof falling from who knew how high up. A human would have been splattered by a fall hard enough to damage a taxi. - Then a face joined it.. a man.. eyes bright blue.. with golden locks fo hair framing his face. He started to speak, but it wasn't english... [19:53]
: "What the hell?!" she yelled loudly as she jerked the wheel of the car yet again to gain better control. " Who are you? " she said as she snarled at the computer. "Stupid machine" she grumbled some. " What happened? " she asked the passanger in the back of her cab. [19:55]
: Though he had no idea what she just said he started his story from the top anyway. ~I was being brought to Earth by the Mondoshawan when these star fighters came out of no where and the next thing I knew there was this HUGE explossion!~ He gestured with his hands, trying to get the point across. ~Boom!~ He ended with, swallowing and wondered if she understood anything of what he just said. [19:57]
: "yeah.. Boom.. .. big boom " she shook her head and then suddenly from behind them there was the sounds of cops. " Oh.. you must have done something " she said stopping. A few seconds later the police pulled up next to her car " .. Please open the door and hand your passnager over to us " [20:00]
: They were back! The ones that were keeping him prisoner! He knew they wern't the same people that had blown up the ship.. he had seen them through a view port.. ugly things. But the 'cops' were just as bad. Glancing about he spotted a big sign. It had letters on it.. much like what he had been studying. He didn't know english but he had picked up the written languages of Earth since the time he was asleep. It would make learning the spoken tongue and history so much faster. - Swallowing, he prounced carefully the words.. diving their meaning from his gifts. "Please... help.." He whispered. He was still weak from being revived as he had.. not to mention falling through a metal roof from a high height. Not his first time falling far distances but usally he could control it better. [18:38]
: She shook her head " I am already in trouble... I can't " she said reaching over and opening the door on the side of the cab. "I'm sorry" she said as she waited for the cops to get the boy and take him back. She did feel bad but the cab was already wrecked. [18:40]
: He looked at the open door and swallowed hard. This was going to be difficult. "Please.." He repeated, squishing himself to the side of the taxi. He couldn't let them take him.. they were dangerous. [18:42]
: Sighing heaviily " .. I am going to regret this" with that she took off. The cable the cops had attatched to her car tearing off the door of the cop car and dragging it behind them. Within moments they were being followed and she was driving wildly through the traffice trying to get away. [18:45]
: The liscence box started to drone at her... it was quiet annoying. --- Anakin yelped as he fell against the other side of the car and grabbed hold of the seats to keep from slipping out of the taxi. He could hear the sirens following after them at a distance. [18:46]
: "you have NO POINTS LEFT ON YOUR LISENSE>> YES I KNOW!! " she pulled it down and threw it into the seat next to her. She sudenly did a dive into the fog that covered the lower part of the city. She drove fast and hard, and then slowed down " They wont follow now " she said sure of herself. [18:49]
: He slammed into the glass that seperted him from the driver as Padme leveled them off, before falling back into the seat. What a rush! It had been quiet some time... - Rubbing his head he looked about. He needed to go somewhere. A priest... THE priest. What name did they say? That's right.. the current priest.. Obi-Wan Kenobi. - Feeling dizzy he leaned on the glass. "Priest." He managed. He had learned that word in english... just incase he got into an emergency before picking up the rest. "Obi-Wan Kenobi." ~Take me there~ He muttered, sliding back. He was still a bit.. weak from his ordeal. darkness was decending apon him. [19:04]
: She didn't quiet understand what he wanted, but she understood a persons name when she heard it. With that she found her way to a building where it was said this Obi-Wan was. Helping the boy up he knocked on the door. [19:05]
: He had passed out by the time they got there... and a tattoo was vissible on one arm. Thankfully he was light and she was strong. --- Obi-Wan frowned, casting a glance at his disciple before answering the door. Seeing the woman with the young man in her arms he cocked an eyebrow. "Weddings?" [19:12]
: She shook her head and pushed her way in " No. He fell into my cab" she said lying him down on a couch " He asked for you... " moving back a bit he motioned to his arm " He has a tattoo here... " she crossed her arms and waiting for some kind for reaponse from the priest. [19:13]
: Obi-Wan blinked at her for a momment. He had been a bit distracted since news of the ship carring the salvation of the Earth and possibly the whole galaxy having been blown up. But when he saw the Tatoo his eyes widdened. "I.. i... it... The.. the.. fifth.. element.." He gasped, before passing out. [19:16]
: She raised a brow and then shrugged a bit looking at the disciple " What is going on" she stayed where she stood. Just watching, this had not been her day and she wanted somethings explained to her. [19:18]
: The priest recovered a momment later and fled from the room, bumping into his disciple and grabbing for some books. "I almost don't belive it.. the fifth element.. the perfect being... WE must hurry, there isn't much time.. " He had actually failed to notice Padme's presence.. leaving her alone with the seemingly unconscious youth... the golden haired beautiful youth. A perfect man... [19:20]
: She walked over slowly and kneeled down infront of him " hey " she said softly " wake up " she darted her eyes side to side and then moved to rest her lips gently on his cheek. [19:24]
: He had been trying to conserve energy. So much had been used up in the flight.. the fall.. in the genuine repearing of his body. So with her lips against him he became startled. Not that his body tense or quivered or anything.. but in that momment he didn't quiet think about the fact that she was beautiful and had rescued him... he knew he was in a strange place with a strange person he didn't know very close. - Before she could even hope to react he had her gun in one hand and aimed it carefully. ~Not without my permission~ He warned, frowning a bit. He wouldn't have minded being this close to her.. especially her... if not for the current situation. Where was he anyway? [19:26]
: "umm... sorry " she said pulling back quickly " I shouldn't have done that " she stood up and backed away some. There was something very strange going on here and she had no diea what it was. [19:27]
: He was about to demand to know where he was when he saw the priest emerge from the back room. There was no doubt it was Obi-Wan. The robes and the sash with the same symbols Anakin had coded into his arm were a dead give away. Lowering the weapon he smiled happily. ~Finnaly!~ relief flooded his features and for a momment the beautiful woman that had saved him was forgotten as he approuched the bearded man. [19:58]
: She wanted to speak but did not, instead she stood silently at the side of the room watching the exchange. What could she say? he'd fallen into her cab and wrecked it, and here she was trying to figure out who , or what this beautiful man was. [19:59]
: ~So much has happend.. I was concerned I wouldn't be able to find you.~ He said to the priest. [20:03]
: He nodded " its alright " he said turning toward Padme " Thank you hmm.. " he paused " Padme " she said. He nodded " Padme... he's had a long journey he needs his rest" with that Padme was pushed out of the door. She paused long enough to tell ask what, what he'd said to her meant. [20:03]
: Obi-Wan paused " Um.... not without my permission" she nodded and was on her way. [20:04]
: Anakin settled down. "Padme.." He murmered, relizing that must be her name. He spelled it out in his mind so that he would know it when he came apon it again. Then with a smile and flexing his now empty hands, he turned over towards Obi-Wan. ~You're the priest. Glad to meet you. My transport was attacked and destroyed.. Do you have an access point?~ By that he meant a computer.. he had someone he needed to look up. [20:07]
: Obi-Wan nodded a bit " umm.. yes right here " he motioned to the computer. With that he told his disciple to run out and get the boy some clothes so that he wasn't running around naked. [20:08]
: He wasn't quiet naked but close enough. - Anakin sat down and started hunting about for where the guardien could be. ~Do you know who that woman was?~ He asked, scrolling through the text. [20:11]
: Obi-Wan shook his head " I don't know, never seen her before" he said. The boy was amazing, magnificant even perfect in every way. Jsut as he was supposed to be. -- Padme made her way back to her 'apartment' such as it was. She sat down and sighed heavily wondering what was happening to her life. [20:13]
: That boy was beautiful.. perfect... yet he didn't speak english.. and she hadn't even caught his name. And for some reason he wanted to be taken to that priest that said.. that said what? Something about a Fifth element? What was all that about. --- As she got into her appartment her cat started meowing. She hadn't brought back any milk for it. [20:15]
: "oh .. no. I'm sorry babe " she said kneeling down picking up small white bundle of fur " How about some nice thai take out to make up for it? " she said petting him softly and walking toward the big window that made p the wall of her apartment. --- The diciple returned with a collection of clothing " Umm.. here you are " he said handing it over " I.. I didn't know yoru size so I guessed" [20:17]
: Anakin looked at the discple for a momment then the clothing. "Thank you." He managed, having picked up a few more words since taking a break from his search. He had taken to eating. He was low on callories, having burned up his supply in all that excitment. - Pulling off what that odd place had strapped on him he started to fiddle into the new clothing.. having no concept of modesty. [20:21]
: Both Obi-Wan and the student turn around to allow privacy, or at least not stare. Rilin took a deep breath " He's... perfect" with that he nodded a bit " And. shouldn't we hurry " he said softly " There isn't much time left... " [20:22]
: Anakin finished getting dressed then settled back down on the computer again. He had a search to finish...the stones needed to be found before the ones that had blown him up did. Those ugly monsters. - As he worked someone knocked on the door. [20:23]
: Obi-Wan raised a brow and walked over to the door opening it up " Yes? " he said keeping half an eye on Anakin as he worked. Worried about the boy and wanting to make sure he was alright, and learning. It was important that he learned to communicate. [20:24]
: A few large men waited outside. "You Obi-Wan Kenobi?" The one in the middle asked, "Palpatine wants to see you." [20:25]
: ".. Fine. Give me just a moment" he moved and went b ack inside " Wath him carefully " he said as he grabbed his over robe and left with the men. -- Padme had ordered some food and was sitting at the window eating it talking to the owner of the thai stand. [20:27]
: The cat sat on the sill, happily eating some fish. HE didn't mind that Padme didn't bring home milk like she had promised.. she had given him fish! Very happy kitty... --- The owner of the thai stand looked past her and gestured towards the mail tube. "You got a letter." [20:34]
: She shrugged it off, and went back to focus on her food. She didn't care about what the letter was it was probably bad news. " Probably junk mail" she said softly reaching out to pet the cat softly [20:35]
: "You won't know till you've read it." He reminded her, cleaning up a few dishes. [20:37]
: She hands over the letter " You read it " she said picking at the food some more. The boy had been beautiful, she couldn't get his image out of her mind. Likely the only thing keeping her from getting mad at everything. Most of all the damage that had been done to her cab. [20:38]
: Opening the letter the thai shop owner announced, "You are fired.." Then he frowned. "sorry... how about lunch is on me?" He offered, dropping the letter on the sill. [20:41]
: She smiled " thanks" the phone rang suddenly and she picked it up. It was her mother, who of course started to yell at her. Padme shook her head and covered up one end of the phone " Umm... you should go this is going to take a while " She smiled a bit and walked off " What is the problem ma'? " [20:43]
: "What you can't call me every once in a while? Your sister calls me every day... you could have been a senator.. you might even have been on the fast track to president.. but ooo no.. you decided to join the military.. and now you never call?" [20:47]
: She sighed softly and put her hand on her head " Come on ma.. " she said "My sister has 3 kids.. and needs yoru help " she says " So what is the deal ma'.. you usually wait until friday to call and bitch at me .. when the lonely weekend is coming up" Padme knew her mother well. She'd gone in the military because she wanted to prove herself. Her family had always judged her harshly, and even more so after her divorce. [20:50]
: While she was being harrassed by her mother who hadn't quiet gotten to the point.. Obi-Wan had gotten returned home after being threatened by Palpatine. Palpatine wanted to know where the stones where.. which meant he had no idea himself. That was a good thing. At least he didn't know about Anakin. - Anakin knew where the stones where, but they needed transport... and that woman.. she had apperently won some contest that would take them right to them. Rilin had been listening to the radio.. if not for that 'slip' as it might be called they would never have known. [20:55]
: Her mother suddenly started in on Padme's winning the contest and how she should take her mother and how Padme didn't desrve a trip. " Ma'.. if I'd won a contest I would know.. someone would tell me" -- Hearing about Padme wining the contest gave Obi-Wan an idea which he decided to put into action. He turned to Rilin " .. We are going to get the tickets.. and go there ourselves" [20:58]
: Anakin didn't quiet know what was going on, but he did want to see Padme again. He had learned some more words.. maybe they could speak now. - He smiled at the thought, and followed the priest wherever he lead. --- While the three were taking a trip, General Windu buzzed at Padme's door. And he wasn't alone. [21:02]
: She opened the door " General.. " she said stepping back " What can I do for you ? " she reached up brushing a few short strands of hair out of her face and looking at Windu. [21:06]
: "Padme Naberrie.. You retired from service six months ago.. but we need you back. There's a situation that could use your skill... You're the best of your platoon... and you're the only member of your platoon still alive." He pulled out an order sheet. "You're being called back to active duty for one last mission." [21:08]
: She looked at it " What if I don't want too? " she said getting an attitude. She didn't want go back and do anothe rmission. The military is what had ruined her marriage, and ruined her life in turn. It wasn't something she was looking forward too. [21:09]
: "Have you checked your mail lately?" She had just been talking to her mother.. about some contest that she didn't know she's one. A letter had even arrived as she'd been interupted by the door, [21:11]
: "... No " she said with a grumble. Suddenly something dropped into her mail tube and she looked at it " Something important? " she asks as she waits to hear more of what the general had to say. [21:13]
: The general moved around her and plucked the mail up. "It seems you've won a contest.. an all expense paid vaction for two at Flostun Paradise." [21:26]
: "You need to make contact with the Divi, Ayla. There are these stones that we need to fight a threat coming straight for Earth. She has them. Your job is to aquire them from her." [21:28]
: She grabbed it from him " ..... Hmm " she said softly. She stood there debateing what was going to happen now. When suddenly there was a sound at the door. [21:29]
: Anakin had found her door. Padme Naberrie was on a little card stuffed before it! So it had to be hers. He had played with it for a momment before being given a look by Obi-Wan which made him slid the card into a nearbye slot rather then the correct door. Then he pushed the button and waited.. not noticing that Obi-Wan was now holding the gun Anakin had taken off of Padme. [21:31]
: Turning Padme saw Anakin standing outside " Oh shit.. " she mumbled " Umm.. you need to hide. I .. its my husband.. or well he will be. We just met and want to get married. He hates the military.. " she moved and opeend the frezzer and started pushing the people inside Forcing them in roughly [21:33]
: Mace blinked. "Married?" That confused him.. thankfully he didn't see who it was.. the 'perfect being' that had knocked his head against an 'impenitrable' glass covering before making a reak for it. - He grunted as he and the others were forced inside Padme's freezer. [21:37]
: She closes the door hard and then opens the door to Anakin and the priest motioning them inside. She had a big grin on her face as she watched him come in. She was so happy to see him again, it made her heart flutter in a way she'd not remembere [21:40]
: Obi-Wan, who had been hidding off to the side, tried to level the gun on her as he and Anakin came inside. "So sorry about this Ms. Naberrie.. we happend to hear about your good news on the radio and we need your tickets." --- Anakin blinked in surprise of Obi-Wan's actions. ~I thought we were going to ask her nicely?~ He made his way inside, not noticing as the door slid closed behind them. [21:43]
: " Yeah.. sure .. " she said of course not planning to give them over. She walked toward the window " ... I " she turned her back to them now, stupid move on her part. [21:44]
: As they started their little.. talk.. an alarm sounded. A police action was taking place! They couldn't be found in her appartment.. they needed to be hidden.. fast. Well.. the freezer was full... [21:45]
: "Here.. " he shoved Anakin in the shower and put Obi-Wan into the bed and closed it up. Forgetting that it would cover him in plastic. As soon as he'd hidden them he put his hands on the wall as was the standard procedure for this situation. [21:47]
: Anakin blinked as the shower slid up into the ceiling. Without warning water began to spray out.. he was gettign wet! He even shivered as he heard shouting down the hall. Someone was demanding to know something.. he wasn't entirely sure what was being said... or why. It was kinda.. his fault. Or rather.. a good thing he'd played with the card that identified Padme's door... the police were looking for Padme based on a tip... [21:49]
: She stood thre and listened, they passed him by luckily and when the cops got to the door they 'thought' was his. The man in it yelled something and there was a shot. Within a few moments it was all over, she moved quickly and hit the button to lower the shower. Seeing the poor shivering Anakin she grabed a towel and started drying him off. Forgetting the preist in the bed for the moment. [21:51]
: Anakin continued to shiver. It was so cold.. he was so wet, and hugging his shoulders as water dripped down from his golden curls. --- In the bed wrapped in plastic Obi-Wan was clawing, hoping to be let out so he could breath. [21:54]
: "I'm sorry.. " she said " I forgot that shower had an autowash" she carefully dried off Anakins face as they stood there. He was so close, adn so pretty. It was hard not to reach out and touch him. [21:55]
: "Autowash.." He shivered, his keen ears hearing the muffled cries from close by. A frown pressed to his face. "Obi-Wan...." The poor priest was in trouble! [21:56]
: She turend suddenly and finally noticed the old man " Oh.. " she ran over and tore open the plastic so that he could breath again " aorry about that " she said half assedly. It wasn't something that she really cared about. There was something odd about the priest. [21:57]
: Obi-Wan gasped for air, sitting up in the bed. He was a little dizzy... this girl was a bit dangerous it seemed... why Anakin seemed to like her... --- Anakin was getting dry as he smiled a little. "Padme?" He hoped he prounced her name right. [21:58]
: She turned " yes.. I am Padme " she smiled and looked at Anakin. Wondering if there was something he wanted, or needed. She noticed though that he was dripping wet. [21:59]
: He was offering her back the towel when Obi-Wan decided to hit her in the back of the head with one of the trophies for service she had earned.. hard enough to floor her so he could take the tickets to floston. - Anakin gasped. ~Why did you do that?!~ He asked even as the priest grabbed his hand and pulled him out of the appartment. [22:01]
: She hit the ground and then stood up, she held the trophy in her hand and then threw it to the side " Damn it" -- Obi-Wan ran out with Anakin " .. Forgive me.. I had to do it. This is very important" with that he ran off to make sure they got there in time. [22:03]
: Anakin frowned all the way to the space port. The discpile had forged him a multi-pass with his name on it. Anakin Skywalker with a hyphened Naberrie. This was to convince people that he was with whoever this.. Padme.. was. Padme was not a very common name and well, genders were not as attached to names these days. Easy to fake. [22:07]
: Luckily enough Padme figured it out what they were doing and made her way there so that he could try to cut them off. -- When Obi-Wan arrived at the station he explained to Anakin that Rilin was going to play his husband. " I am much to old of course" he said [22:08]
: Anakin didn't quiet get it.. he was just wondering why Obi-Wan wasn't going with him. - Fiddling with his pass he looked back and spotted someone that made him smile. ~Oh look it's Padme!~ He called out, not knowing that Rilin did not speak the divine tongue. [22:12]
: Padme came running up " Hi there " she said " I was running late so I hade my friend.. " he looked at him " Umm. Rilin here was holding my place for me were you? Now he is going away now " she pushed him off gently and stood in line " Yes.. is time for my... husband and I go hmm? " she said with a bright grin as she handed over the multipass. [22:13]
: "Anakin Skywalker Naberri Multi-pass" He held it up for the flight attendant. - Finnaly, Padme knew what his name was. They hadn't been propperly introduced. This strange cute boy. Looks like they were going on this mission together, though he might get in the way. He was rather strange. [22:15]
: "yes.. " she said taking it from him " yes.. they know its a multi-pass" with that they were cleared and let on-- Rilin made his way back to the bar and sat down next to Obi-Wan he picked up the older mans drink and downed it quickly " Another" he said [22:15]
: Obi-Wan looked at him startled. "what are you doing here?" He gasped. [22:16]
: "Ms. Naberrie showed up .... she.. just.. she is going " he said downing yet another drink he shook his head and sort of curled up on the bar top. [22:17]
: "Oh dear... this isn't good.." He had just been stressing about how perfect yet delicate and fragile Anakin was. Now that woman was with him.. well.. he would have to get onboard himself. [22:17]
: "Go.. get the temple ready.. I must take care of this." [22:19]
: Rilin nodded and watched as Obi-Wan got up and left " .. I.. " he sighed " I don't want to go to Egypt " Padme made her way to the small compartment they got for the trip. Sliding inside she saw Anakin was already there [22:20]
: "Everything needs to be prepaired.. the fate of all life depends on it." Oh Obi-Wan didn't want to leave Rilin.. but he had no choice.. as a fight broke out in the space port he searched around for a way into the shuttle. [22:28]
: Rilin sighs and is gone of to do as he was told-- Obi-Wan finds a way to sneak in hiding in the inner workings of the ship . It was uncomfortable but it would suffice for the time being. [22:29]
: Then, out of no where, one of the most popular radio personalities of the modern age slid into view complete in his trade mark vest and sparkly teeth. "Padme Naberrie! Here she is folks.. the one and only winner of the gemini croquet contest!" He actually glided to her side... flashing those teeth at her as Anakin just looked around. "This girl is fueled.. like fire.. so start melting boys.. this girl's hotter then hot.. she's hot hot hot!" He droned on.. rather annoying in a way... and getting way too high profile. Mace had wanted her to be low profile.. of course he should have thought of THAT before rigging the contest to get her sent out there. [19:35]
: She turned at him and raised an eyebrow " Umm.. " she said not sure what exaclty to say. It was one of those things where she felt trapped. Padme was pushed along to follow him and informed that this .. thing was going to be hanging around her and interviewing her for his show. [19:37]
: Anakin wasn't even sure what that strange person was going on about. He just knew Padme was being pulled away so he frowned as the 'show' continued on. He needed to stay out of sight anyway. He didn't fit in there... so he started to poke around. So many little compartments.. and they all had computers.. perhaps he could go back to his learning. [19:38]
: She was dragged along and kept getting the microphone shoved in her face and coming up with not very exciting things to say. She didn't care about this, and now she'd lost Anakin so she started to tun around frantically trying to figure out wher ehe'd gone. [19:39]
: That boy was going to get in her so much trouble... he seemed fully grown and sexy and perfect.. but the way he was wandering about.. it was like he was a small child or something. Overly curious. - At least the radio personality, Han Solo, was finding something else to occupy his time with after his show was done for the day... he did seem a little.. miffed.. at her though. [19:48]
: She was pleased when he finally left her be and headed off to try to find Anakin. It wasn't easy, eventually she ended up in her small compartment and slipped inside wodnering if Anakin was going to be there. [19:49]
: Anakin was already in there actually, he looked over and smiled at her. "Hi." He greated, putting a finger on the comptuer screen he had been studying. [19:50]
: "hi " she said "You've learned more" she asked tenitively wnating to make sure that she didn't just assume he could speak english now. [19:51]
: "Yes. I learn.." He confirmed, nodding his head a bit, looking back at his screen for a momment. He was in a good mood now.. better then when he'd been blown up at least. [19:53]
: She nodded " You need to stick with me" she said " I am supposed to protect of you " she said with a bit of a smile. Her eyes were watching out the small window for anyone coming down the hall [19:54]
: Anakin turned his eyes and smiled at her. "Don't worry.. Me, fifth element.. I protect you." He nodded. The flight attendents were coming around turning on the sleep enducers. [19:55]
: "Enjoy your flight " she said and with that padme was out instantly. SHe'd not wanted to and tried to fight it for a momnt but failed. The trip was safer for the passangers this way [19:56]
: Anakin wanted to learn more.. but sleep, concerving energy.. was a good thing.. so he too slept... side by side with Padme.. but not quiet touching. [20:52]
: They slept through the the entire trip, Padme woke up after Anakin had, and he was on his way out of the ship. She got up quick and head out trying to find him again, she didn't want him to get lost again. [20:53]
: Anakin was curious... and he had to get to the stones. Had to make contact with Ayla. His reason for being... it was all here. - AS he got to the disembarking platform he winced at the noise.. the cheers.. [21:00]
: Everyone was applauding and there was music and some people singing and some people dancing. They were greeting everyone who came to stay there. --Padme came out shortly after, eyes looking for Anakin but getting a face full of singing instead [21:01]
: Anakin slipped through the corridors, trying to make it to the Divi suiets... he knew he couldn't get close to Ayla.. not right away. He had to stay hidden.. hidden from those who might want to harm him. [21:09]
: He was met in a hallway, sort of. A voice comes from the shadows " The Diva knows why you are here, and wnats to help. She will meet with you after the show" with that the voice was gone again. Leaving Anakin alone. [21:11]
: Anakin decided to hunker down there.. even though Padme couldn't find him.. --- One of the girls showing PAdme around her room was going on and on about how lucky she was to be on a trip with Han Solo. Asking if he was really so cute in person as his voice sounded ont he air. So on and so forth. [21:13]
: "ummm he is great" she says " Look. is there somewhere I can get something to wear to the concert tonight? " she motioned to her beat up oily dirty standard clothes. [21:13]
: "We have your room stocked with it. Wow.. front row with Han Solo... you're gonna have SUCH a great time." She pressed a button on the wall and a whole lot of gowns and suits of various designs came out.. all in her size. [21:24]
: She nodded " Thanks" within a few moments her mother called bitching at her yet again. She didn't want to listen, bu tshe did anyway. Trying to explain but not being able too. So instead of argueing she just listened and then changed into one of the dresses [21:27]
: How did her mother get the number anyway? Didn't that woman ever stop complaining? Oh well... too bad she couldn't relax. This was hardly a vaction. Han was annoying.. Anakin was cute but seemed like in the way... and all she knew was that she had to talk to Ayla about getting some stones. Least according to her orders. [21:31]
: Sighing heavily she put on one of the nicer, yet functional dresses. Fitting but still allowed her movement. Wrapping a shall around her shoulders she left her room to join Han Solo for the rest of the evening. Not something she was really l ooking forward too. [21:33]
: It would have been more fun to have Anakin at her side.... where was he anyway? Had he gotten lost? Oh well... she could find him later after she had the stones, right? - Han was clearly happy to be her escort.. but he was still on the air, talking to all the billions of ears that tuned into him as he walked with Padme. He was showing her around the opera house that was on the ship.. pointing out various important people gathered around as they made their way to their seats. [21:35]
: She ignored his comments about the sexual exploits that he'd had with a few members of the audience. When asked how she was feeling her responce was a simple "Swell" as she sat down. This wasn't what was important. [21:36]
: Han groaned softly. When they cut to comercial he frowned a bit. "Not a big talker I take it?" [21:37]
: "Have a lot on my mind" she said leaning back into her seat. Oddly enough she noted that although Han was annoying he was pretty attractive although not as much as Anakin. [21:38]
: Anakin was perfect.. Han was just... a runner up. --- Soon, the show began. Ayla came up on stage... she was an alien.. with long blue head tails and blue skin. Her voice was magestic. She sung... everyone there unaware of the danger boarding the airship. [21:43]
: As they sat there listening, a group of aliens moved and crashed the Diva's room and killed everyone. They tore through everything seeking what they were looking for. Leaving the door wide open to anyone who migth come along. [21:44]
: Anakin recognized them when he saw them.. the things that were flying those ships.. the one that blew up his transport... he shivered.. but not from fear... anger was rising up in him.. intense.. overwhelming. - As the creatures ransacked the room he came flying in through the door and assulted the group. [21:50]
: They shot at him, and tried to fight but they were no match for the perfect being - While the the fight was happening Padme sat watching the concert. It was amazing, beautiful yet haunting somehow as well. [21:51]
: Anakin had learned a few things by watching Earth's history.. they fit well with his body makeup so he used them. Dancing about he took each one of them down... unaware that there was yet another tresspasser on the airship... [21:57]
: The concert drew to a close and shots rang out, people yelling as the diva fell down a rather large hole her stomach now. Running up Pamde grabbed the Diva off the stage and pulled her down into the orchestra pit so she could try to help her " It will be okay... " she ushered. [21:57]
: Ayla's eyes fluttered as she fell into Padme's arms. "Anakin.." She mumbled.. "The fifth element..." [22:05]
: "Yes.. .. " she pulled off the shall and put it on top of the diva's ound " Where are the stones? .. I need to help him " she said trying to get some information out of Ayla. [22:12]
: "He needs your help.." Ayla agreed as she took shallow breaths. "And your love..." [22:13]
: "What.. " she was confused now and shook her head " The stones" she repeated putting that perticular statement on the back burner for now. I twas a little much to take in this second. [22:13]
: "The stones.." She whispered, her eyes fluttering.. "Are in me.." Then she died. [22:15]
: She looked at the dead diva for a few moments and then took a deep breath " oh hell " she said and then suddenly reached into the wound in Aylas body, feeling around. She found the four stones and put them into her shall and picked them up to carry with her. [22:16]
: Odd stones.. with markings on them like on Anakin's arm. --- Han was chewing nerviously on his lip. "Padme.. padme.. um.. one of those big uggly things is coming this way." [22:21]
: She looks at him " OH fuck " she said and looked around for a weapon. Luckily there was a gun nearby and she grabbed it. " You ever used a gun before? " she asked absently as she watched the creature come closer. [22:23]
: Han gritted his teeth. "No.. wha.. what do I do man? Oh man... we're all going to die!" He mumbled. If he had been a street urchin maybe he would have been tougher he relized.. but he had gotten adopted... [22:29]
: She sighed heavily and then took aim and fired a shot at the creature that was coming at them. It feel down dead and she nodded " good " she picked up the stones and grabbed Han's arm and pulled him toward the dead thin gon the floor grabbing its weapon as they go past it. [22:31]
: Han clung to her arm. "If you can hear me folks... this is Solo.. still alive... the uglies are still in control of the hotel." He continued droning on as he followed after Padme. Clearly talking made him feel a bit better. [22:33]
: She didn't care, so long as he wasn't screatching like a girl. He shoved the gun he'd picked up before to Han and held onto the aliens gun " if you see one coming at you shot it.. do you understand? " she carried the stones in her shall as she worked out toward the lobby of the hotel [22:34]
: Han winced, holding the gun in his hands. Oh if only he hadn't been adopted as a child.. hadn't been taken off the streets that might have toughed him up. Who knows what he might have become! Maybe even some scruffy dressed pirate or something. "Uh.. uh... how do I do that?" [22:40]
: She rolled her eyes " Like this" she pointed her gun at a creature pulled the trigger and fired " See.. nothing to it" a grin crossed her lips knowing that he 'd likely freak out if he actually had to do that. Now, with the stones in hand he had to find Anakin. With that in mind he started to search [22:41]
: There was fighting going on in the hall... more of the beasts.. and Han trying to crawl along the floor with his new gun. He was scared.. but reporting the events on the radio. There was also an announcment about hostages in the navigation room. [20:36]
: "Come on " Padme said, she reached down and grabbed Han gently and started directing him toward the control room. She had to help Anakin but she also needed to make sure that those hostages where safe. [20:37]
: Hell, she didn't even know where Anakin was... but Ayla had said he needed help. And that was her job.. - Han was actually clinging to her arm as they made their way to the control room. He was so delicate.. but he was still whispering into his mic every now and then to keep the listerns apprised of the situation. [20:44]
: Padme nearly reached over and smack as he was being a bit annoying but it was not worth fighting over. She made it to the control room and snuck in. " Where is the captain? " she asked looking at a rather young obvious inexperinced man who stood there. [20:45]
: "Being held hostage in the next room." The young man cringed. "He was talking to this priest that snuck onto one of the shuttles... trying to figure out why he was here.. when we got taken over." [20:49]
: She nodded and then quickly moved and looked out the door and counted numbers and then turned back " 4 on one side and 5 on the other " she picked up her gun and then turned and shots rang out " Okay.. 3 and 4... there is one on the is clearly the leader. If I take him out the other sshould be easy " she leaned aganst the wall and took a deep breath. She quickly moved and put a shot through the center of the leaders head which let the others run in chaos and the preist and captain set free. [20:50]
: Obi-Wan was quiet startled as the creature dropped away behind him. He thought that was going to be it.. that he was going to die... but instead.. that woman was there.. coming to his rescue with a gun in hand. Perhaps he had been a little hasty trying to knock her out at her appartment. [20:52]
: " You again " she grumbled " Come on.. We need to find Anakin. He's gone " he shoved the stones at the priest " Here.. hold these" she said as she started to look around picking up weapons that where aroudn that might prove useful to her. [20:53]
: Obi-Wan let out a sigh of relief. "you got the stones! Oh how wonderful.." It took him a momment to process the OTHER thing she'd said. "HE's missing? Wait..." He hurried up, completely ignoring Han as he tried to catch up with Padme. [20:54]
: "I lost him when we came on bored, I was dragged around and now I don't know where he is. But.. I think maybe in the diva's rooms... I hope anyway" she said although there was a tone of concern in her voice. [20:54]
: Obi-Wan pulled on his beard with a free hand as he wandered over towards the bank of moniters. "Do you know where that is?" [20:56]
: "Finding out" she said looking through the bank of information " Here we are " she said noting it and then moving on. Dragging his little entourage with him. The priest and the radio show host. [20:59]
: Anakin was curled up in a ventaltion shaft above the Diva's room... having been hiding there after being shot at by that man who had stolen a case from the Diva's room... he wasn't even sure what was going on any more.. he was hurting.. but healing. [21:01]
: "Anakin " she cried crawling up and pulling him down into her arms " It'll be alright" she whispered softly " it'll be okay" she climbed down and held him " Come on.. " She said " We need to get out of her righ tnow" [21:01]
: Han was looking about and frowned. "Um.. Padme.. what's this thing with all these numbers here?" He asked, gesuturing at the door. --- Anakin mumbled something incoherient as he sunk into Padme's arms, cuddling up against her. [21:16]
: She looks over "...They are playing are song.. lets go " she said taking off with Anakin her arms trying to get to a ship. --- During this time Palpatine found that the box he'd been delivered was empty, the stones where not in it as planned. [21:17]
: Han started freaking out again when he relized... it was a bomb. Even Obi-Wan was groaning to himself... but Anakin kept calm.. arms wrapped around Padme's neck as they headed off towards the landing bay where a nice shuttle was waiting.. the owner had streamed back into the hotel and was heading for ht esame room they had just come from. [21:27]
: They made their way onto the shuttle and Padme lied Anakin down and moved to the controls. Without a pause she started the ship and they were gone. Padme got in touch with command and they said they had 57 minutes "Call you back in an hour" with that she shut off communication. --- Palpatine arrived to find his bomb just as he'd left it and a box on the table where the Diva had been. [21:29]
: And it wasn't the only one... with just five seconds left to go..another bomb made an apperence.. from a box that the warriors had dropped off during their raid... they were all dead or dying.. they wanted to take what they could with them. --- Anakin frowning lightly up at Padme. "We.. ok?" He asked softly. [21:30]
: Within a few moments palpatine was blown with the ship-- Turning Padme nodded " Yes.. we are okay" she said reaching back and rubbing his arm softly. She takes them to earth, and to egypt where the temple was. It was the last and only hope. [21:31]
: He nodded a little, watching her for a momment. He had more things to learn.. so while the others focused on their tasks, he tried to settle down with the screen. That's when he happend apon a strange word... War... [21:36]
: The images, and information was upsettinng. It was dark and brought unhappiness it seemed. They arrived at the temple and Padme carried Aankin off the ship and into the temple setting him down off to one side. "So.. what now? " she asked turning toward the priest. [21:36]
: Obi-Wan frowned a bit and pulled out the stones. "We have to place them on the pedistals.. match up the symbles.." [21:38]
: She took the stones handing one to each and having them match them up. Once that was done she turned " And now? " she asked resting her hand on her hip [21:39]
: "Well.. we need to put the fifth element in the center.. then.." He stroked his beard. "Well.. according to the scripts... the stones are supposed to open... and the force to defeat the darkness is supposed to shoot up to stop it." [21:58]
: "Open them? How do you do that? " she asked softly as she walked around trying to figure out how these things open. Since to her it really wasn't obvious. [21:58]
: Obi-Wan shrugged. "I'm rather curious about that myself.." [22:00]
: She closed her eyes and looked at t hem "Lets try.. anything okay? " she walked over to one of them and started pokeing at it trying to find a switch or something [22:01]
: Each person went to a differnet stone. Han frowned as he looked at the fire stone, poking it a little. "I think mine's broken.." He mumbled. [22:11]
: Rilin walked to one and took a deep breath and suddenly the stone started to move "Padme!... It moved!" he yelled. Running of Padme starts demanding that he do exactly the same thing again trying to figure otu what happened to open it. [22:12]
: Obi-Wan ran over to his disciple to see what was going on. "Wind.." He mumbled, pulling on his beard. "What did you do to get it to move?" [22:14]
: " I just.. I put my hands like this.. and said " we aren't going to make it" of course nothing happened. He took a deep breath again and the stone moved yet again " .. WAIT!" she yelled moving closer and breathing onto the stone opening it up wide. " Earth Earth, Fire fire, water water.. GO NOW!" they spread out again. The Rilin dumped some of the sand onto the earth one opening it up wide. [22:15]
: Obi-Wan ran to the water symble and mopped up his swet. That seemed the best way to get it to work.. and it did open when he dribbled the droplets apon it. [22:16]
: Han was frowning at the fire one. "I.. um.. I don't have any fire over here.. I gave up smoking.. oh man.. if I knew.. if I knew... we're all gonna die!" He started to whine again, mumbling a few more things as he sank before the fire pedistal. [22:19]
: She moved over and dug into her pocket and pulled out her every ready box of matches. ".. One " she said opening it up. "Don't breath" She said as she slowly lowered the struggling flame to the top of the stone [22:20]
: Obi-Wan actually had to put a hand over Han's mouth to keep the radio personality from gasping while they watched the small flickering flame. It was a tense few momments.. but it worked... all four elements opened up, sparkling with their lights. [22:24]
: Padme ran over and picked up Anakin " Come on.. " she said softly " You need to work now " She carried him into the center and held him tightly to her chest. " We need you now" she said [22:25]
: Anakin had been a bit.. out of it since the shuttle ride... distracted.. as if lost in thought.. or perhaps just weakened from unseen injuries sustainted at the Diva's room. - Laying against Padme he mumbled. "Why protect... when you only destroy..." [22:26]
: She held him cloese " Because.. because there are lots of good things in the world " she offered holding him up. " Very good things " she was afraid to say what was on her mind, the things she felt deeply in her heart. [22:27]
: "Created to protect.. until death.." He mumbled again, leaning against her. So much chaos... he didn't know why he was bothering when humans caused eachother so much pain. [22:29]
: Obi-Wan urged her on " .. Like love " she added " Love is good" she held Anakin tight trying hard to convince him to do what he needed to do. [22:30]
: "I don't know love.." He shivered a little, gazing up at her as Obi-Wan paced back and forth. [22:31]
: "yes...you do. " she said " I... I love you " she held him close and even kissed his cheek softly " Please.. " she pushed " Please " [22:34]
: Obi-Wan knew there was nothing else to be done... he just hoped.. the words reached the fifth element in time.. if not.. all would be lost. --- Anakin kissed her in return in that momment, feeling her warmth against his trembling body. Love... that was what made everything work... he felt he had been created to protect, not to love... but there were so many things... - It was love that recharged him.. jump started his batteries to speak... and Padme was right at ground zero as everything went off... the elements.. each one of them.. doing their job... creating the divine light to beat back the darkness. [22:37]
: There was an amazing light, it shot through him and then out and it stopped the great evil that was headed towards earth. The young Rilin stood theren and then suddenly shouted out in joy that it had worked. [22:37]
: Han leaned against a wall and signed hard. "Explosions every five minutes.. end of the world.. I think you're all loony.. I'm going home.." [22:40]
: Soon word got back, and Pamde and Anakin where on their way home. or at least to where they were expected. They were heroes, everyone was waiting for them. To see them and applauded them. [22:40]
: They had been handed off to Yoda.. who had seen fit to put them in the reactor to restore their health. It wasn't long though before Mace Windu showed up.. with the president of Earth. [22:42]
: Lying inside she turned and looked at Anakin with a smile on her face " I love you " she said softly reaching out the caress his cheek gently. --Everyone wanted to see them. The president asked to see t hem as he was busy and needed to get on wtih his day. [22:43]
: Anakin wrapped his arms about her, holding tight. They had shared something in that room.. never shared before... when he had gone into battle... she had been close enough to FEEL it as well. No one ever had before. "Love.. pretty word." [22:53]
: She smiled " .. not as pretty as you " she ran her fingers through his hair and pulled him closer. -- Yoda looked in and then turned around " Um.. they are umm busy " he said trying to conceal his embaressment. [22:54]
: Mace lifted an eyebrow. "Busy?" He asked... trying to figure that one out.. it took him a momment. Padme must have seen what they all saw... the beauty of the 'perfect' being. [23:08]
: Yoda nodded and there was a phone call, it was Pamde's mother. Calling to .. do what she does best complain. -- In the machine Padme had herself wrapped around Anakin, theywere closer than anyone had been. [23:09]
: Having been created to protect life... Anakin was not very familiur with the concept of intamecy except from what he had learned from the computer screen. Be he enjoyed being close to her.. pressed very tightly. She was strength... and beauty.. a wonderful combination. [23:15]
: She would teach him eventually, right now she just wanted to be close to him. Her hands roamed him body, touching his skin. Learning every inch of his form, wanting to know him better than anyone else. [23:17]
: So beautiful.. so perfect... muscles under the skin of his still slender body.... no real hair to speak of except on his head... perhaps everything she might ever want. He was youthful and curious... and yet he was ancient at the same time.. [23:20]
: She smiled and kissed him deeply suddenly. Pulling him tightly to her, and wrapping a leg around him. She wanted him deeply but she was trying to go slow. Not wanting to hurt him by going to fast. [23:21]
: Anakin made soft noises at the feel of her body pressed so nicely to his... it was like they fit together. However, the voices beyond the containment.. which he was sensitive enough to hear.. were starting to get to him. - Breaking from her mouth for a momment, Anakin glanced up towards the hatch. [23:23]
: She sighed softly " we should.. go out and see what they want " she flopped on her back and grumbled and. This is not what she wanted, not at all but it was part of their duty to go and speak with these people now. [23:24]
: Anakin leaned on an elbo, admiring her with a soft smile. "See what want.. ok." He agreed, stroking a few fingers across her abdoman. [23:26]
: She grumbled and found a blanket and pulled it up over herself and him and opened the hatch from the inside " Can we get some robes here please" she commanded. She'd just almost died for the sake of the world so she wasn't playing gamees [23:28]
: The energy that had come from Anakin had been quiet powerful.. hell, it had stopped a planet of death from striking Earth... and it had envoloped Padme too as she had held onto him. --- Anakin yawned a little. He understood at least he wasn't a prisoner this time in that tube.. but there was no dire emergency needing his attention so it was all good. He watched in interest as the one he had knocked out actually scrambled to get them a few robes. [23:33]
: She smiled a bit and when they were given robes she helped Anakin put on his and climbed out after she got hers on and looked around " So.. what do you need now? " she asked with a slight sarcastic tone in her voice. Clearly she was annoyed bey the fact that she was intereesting. [23:34]
: "Well... Major.." The general cleared his throat. "It seems you have succeeded in saving the world.." [23:35]
: "Gee really? " she said looking around " WOW guess you are right. Being that its still here and all " she rolled her eyes a bit and walked over and wrapped her arms absently around Anakin. She didn't care who knew how she felt about him, not anymore. [23:37]
: Mace quickly looked towards the president... who had made the mistake of trying to talk to Padme's mother... --- Anakin looked around. He was wondering where the pritest was. Just what was this anyway? Where was he supposed to go now? To that tiny place he'd found Padme in perhaps? [23:39]
: He'd passed the phone off down the line until some poor tech in the science department was stuck trying to reason with her. " So.. " Padme said " What do I get for this hmm? After all I'd lost my job just before this" Obi-Wan was off in one corner looking over the book he had. Trying to find any information on what the purpose of the perfect being was now. [23:41]
: The general looked helplessly at the president. It wasn't up to Mace to reward such a hero... but the president, now he could make things happend. --- The book didn't say much other then that the stones and the fifth element needed to be kept safe for the next five thousand years to combat the darkness when it came again. [23:43]
: "So.. Mr President " she said with a grin ".. I hate to speak like this but ... seriously. I lost my job, and my cab is completely wrecked. I mean.. " she shrugged " I have reponsibitly now " she motioned gently to Anakin [23:45]
: Anakin looked up from his curious glances as he noticed Padme gesturing towards him. This was unfamiliur grounds for him... not used to travel but for some reason, craving it. So much to see if he was to protect it all... so much to learn. Maybe he didn't have to sleep and wait for a while. "See the stars?" He suggested, still getting used to english. [23:46]
: She looked at him " Well it seems as though he has a wish to see the stars. So.. what can be done to make that happen for us hmm? " she would do anythin got make him happy. She figured she should probably drag the priest along to translate in case things got ocmplicated. [23:50]
: Qui-Gon nodded " We can arrange for anything you like. A ship, a pilot even... anything you want we can do. " Padme smiled " Okay .. and a place to live when we come back? " It was in her nature to try to get what she could out of this. [23:50]
: Qui-Gon nodded " yes yes.. whatever you want" Padme nodded " Sound good? " She asked Anakin. [23:51]
: Anakin looked at her and smiled a bit, nodding. That sounded like a splended idea! It's not like he had to be on Earth all the time.. just when he was needed really. He had spent about three hundred or so years offworld asleep.. so why not awake? [23:53]
: Padme turned and looked at Obi-Wan " ... Is that okay? " she asked him wanting his opinion given he probably knew more about this then anyone.
