[19:06] <P>: Anakin's speeder pulled up and he came out. He looked unhurt dispite the fact that he had been at the temple. Padme had seen the smoke all the way from here.
[19:07] <P>: She runs up to him and kisses him " Anakin are you alright? I could see the smoek from the temple from here" her hand moved over his body gently looking for any sign of injury. 
[19:08] <P>: He pulled her into his arms. "I'm fine. I came to see if you and the baby are alright."
[19:08] <P>: She nods " I am okay " she said softly... 
[19:08] <P>: "There's been a rebellion.. the Jedi tried to assassinate the Chancellor and overthrow the republic."
[19:09] <P>: ".. I can't believe it" she said softly
[19:10] <P>: "I saw it with my own eyes Padme. I saw Master Windu try to kill the chanellor so I stopped him."
[19:11] <P>: "oh.. " she said softly... " Thats so hard to believe" 
[19:12] <P>: "I heard their next move was to kill the senators. I couldn't let that happen. So I lead a strike force back." So that was why he had gone back to the temple... the flames.. that was his doing.

[19:13] <P>: She hugs him tightly " .. what now? " 
[19:15] <P>: "Now.. I'm heading for an even more important mission. To end this war. The sepertist leaders are on Mustufar (spelling?). I'm going there, and finishing this." He kissed her softly, "Wait for me till my return?"
[19:16] <P>: She kisses back and nods. " Be careful.. please.. " 
[19:17] <P>: He smiled. "I will." And rubbed her belly, "And you relax. The new powers I'm getting from this are going to help you survive. That's all that matters to me. Seeing you and the baby alright."
[19:18] <P>: She kisses him again softly " ... I love you Anakin" 
[19:18] <P>: "I love you too Padme, with all that I am."
[19:19] <P>: She steps back and watches him leave. 
[19:19] <P>: The next day.. after the special session of congress where the republic was offically re-orginized into an empire, Obi-Wan dropped by.
[19:20] <P>: She was sitting on the couch feeling lonely, and worried about Anakin 
[19:21] <P>: "Padme... have you seen Anakin?" He asked, coming to her.
[19:21] <P>: ".. yesterday" 
[19:21] <P>: "Do you know where he is now?" Obi-Wan sat down next to her, concern, worry, and sadness etched on his face. It looked as if he was suffering a broken heart of some kind.
[19:22] <P>: ".. I .. I can't" 
[19:22] <P>: "Please Padme.. I need to find him right away."
[19:23] <P>: ... " she sighs heavily" 
[19:23] <P>: "He's in great danger.."
[19:24] <P>: She closes her eyes.. " .. Mustufar" 
[19:25] <P>: Obi-Wan stood up, watching her for a momment. "I need you to understand this Padme... he'd been consumed by the dark side of the force... he killed even the younglings at the temple. If I thought it was still him.. I wouldn't be asking you."
[19:25] <P>: "Don't kill him" she said suddenly
[19:26] <P>: "I... I might not have a choice. He's become a very great threat." There was pain in Obi-Wan's voice.
[19:26] <P>: ".. Obi-Wan please.. " 
[19:28] <P>: Obi-wan watched her for a momment, his brow furrowing. Then he suddenly relized why she was, acting this way dispite what he'd just told her. She wasn't simply Anakin's friend... it was deaper then that. His eyes lowering on her very swollon belly he felt pain in his heart yet again. "Anakin's the father, Isn't he?"
[19:29] <P>: She looks down, away from Obi-Wans face " Don't kill him.. please.. he.. there is still good in him. Please don't kill him" she was pleading with him now. 
[19:29] <P>: "If there is any good left in him Padme... I'll see what can be done." He promised, turning from her now and heading for the door.
[19:30] <P>: She doesn't say anything,she just stays on the couch Feeling miserable.. and lonely 
[19:31] <P>: Anakin was still on the planet when Obi-Wan got there, watching him from a distance. How had his master found him? He relized that Obi-Wan must have tricked Padme into giving him the info and he growled to himself. He thought Obi-Wan was a friend.. but using his wife for information against him? That was too much.
[20:29] <P>: Obi-Wan got out of the ship and called out " Anakin.. are you here? " 
[20:30] <P>: Anakin had his lightsaber in hand, but not ignited as he approuched the landing platform. His cloak was up over his head, his yellowed eyes glaring out at Obi-Wan.
[20:30] <P>: "Anakin.. .. what is going on? !" 
[20:30] <P>: "You found me here. Don't you know?"
[20:30] <P>: "... Why?!" 
[20:32] <P>: "I finnaly see through the lies of the Jedi. They have been using me and my powers for years. But they would never teach me what i needed to know. I am now powerful enough to save Padme."
[20:33] <P>: Obi-Wan sighs heavily "The darkside is nothing good Anakin.. the Jedi to not lie.. they try to lead down the right path!"
[20:33] <P>: "Shut up. You used Padme to find me here. For what? Have you come to kill me Obi-Wan?"
[20:34] <P>: "I didn't use her.... she needed to tell me. I need to help you " 
[20:35] <P>: "Help me? How could you help me? You wern't here when I thought I needed you."
[20:35] <P>: ".. You.. ran off! You've.. made your own path not coming to me... not trusting me!"
[20:37] <P>: "I don't care any more. The Jedi are the enemy now. They would bring nothing but civil war to the new empire!"
[20:38] <P>: " I know you are the father!"
[20:38] <P>: Anakin's eyes narrowed. "And what would have happend to my child? Once the council found out I was good as gone and they would have taken them."
[20:41] <P>: "you didn't give anyone a chance" 
[20:42] <P>: Anakin shook his head. "I have brought peace to the galaxy... and if you're not with me on this Obi-Wan.. you are my enemy.."
[20:43] <P>: "Then so be it. I cannot stand behind you ont his Anakin. You are takeing the wrong path" 
[20:44] <P>: Anakin ignited the lightsaber. "No... this is the only way.
[20:44] <P>: :"
[20:44] <P>: Obi-Wan shrugs off his robe and ignited his.. " .. i will miss you " 
[20:47] <P>: The battle was quiet grueling. Though the skills were in place, the person he was fighting no longer seemed to be Obi-Wan's friend. The boy he had raised, had trained, had loved as a brother. There was nothing left but hate, and rage, and anger. Obi-Wan came close to getting killed.. but finnaly, the sith once known as Anakin made a horrible mistake, and the Jedi took advantage of it. "RAAA!" He cried out, landing face first in the dust, hardly able to move. Only his metal hand attached, grasping feebly at the dirt. His control over the force was wanning, he could feel the heat all around them.
[20:50] <P>: Obi-Wan watched, he could do nothing but watch. His heart sunk in his chest again.. he felt more dispair then he thouht it would be possible to feel. Watching his friend, his brother suffer in this way. 
[20:52] <P>: "I hate you!!" Anakin screamed at him, sliding. His clothing was starting to burn as Obi-Wan watched. There was something he could do. He could stop him from suffering... or he could turn away. But either way, it was painful. But more so, there was nothing of his friend left.
[20:54] <P>: he takes a long breath and intead of leaving him to suffer, he steps forward " good bye.. my friend" he lifts his saber and lowers it ending Anakins pain.
[20:55] <P>: elsewhere... not long after... Padme, asleep in her bed, was suddenly overcome by rage, hate, pain, and sadness. She was in a dream, and she could smell sulfur and burning flesh.
[20:56] <P>: She gasps.. and looks around " What.. what is... happening" 
[20:56] <P>: She could hear a scream of agony.. pain.. rage.. and it was Anakin's voice.
[20:58] <P>: "Anakin!" she started looking around trying to find him " Anakin.. where are you ? " 
[20:58] <P>: "Here.." He was suddenly infront of her, on the ground on his knees, shaking uncontrollably.
[20:59] <P>: there was a strange redish haze around him
[20:59] <P>: "Anakin.. what is wrong.. " she moves toward him. To put her arms around him 
[20:59] <P>: As she does, she can feel it strong.. the hate.. the anger... the complete loathing. She even passed right through him for a momment.
[21:00] <P>: She gasps.. ".. Anakin.. what.. what is wrong? " 
[21:00] <P>: He lets out another wail of anguish, almost as if she isn't there, then falls back. The red haze lifts and he seems solid enough. He's crying now, on the ground... almost whimpering
[21:01] <P>: She moves to him trying ot reach out and grab him. Hold him his tears tearing into her. 
[21:02] <P>: He managed to latch onto her this time, curling up against her and burrying his face in her neck.
[21:02] <P>: "OH my love.. " she holds him and rocks him gently " what is wrong? " 
[21:02] <P>: He didn't speak for several minutes, holding her till the tears fell away. Then he pushed slightly to look into her face. "Obi-Wan.." He breathed.
[21:05] <P>: ".. Obi-Wan what? " 
[21:06] <P>: Anakin pressed his hand to her forehead.. and suddenly she saw what happend through his eyes. The sudden pain of having his limbs taken off.. the burning... and the sudden wrenching as the finnal lightsaber came down.
[21:07] <P>: She gasps hard.. and looks at him " He.. did this to you.. took you.. " she starts to shake hard.She couldn't believe what she saw.." .. He.. wasn't supposed... he.. killed you" she starts to cry
[21:08] <P>: "He decived you.." Anakin whimpered. She could feel it, he didn't blaim her at all, "He used you to find me..." ran his fingers through her hair.
[21:08] <P>: "You are gone!" she cried hard... now.. 
[21:09] <P>: "I am here." He grabbed one of her hands, pressing it over her heart. "There's no where else for me to go."
[21:09] <P>: She pulls him close.. " He will pay for this.. " she had never talked in such a way before.. 
[21:10] <P>: "After.." He moved down to her belly, "First you need to survive.. The babies will be coming soon." His mood had changed.. probably because he'd passed his anger and hate onto her.
[21:11] <P>: She closes her eyes.. how could she manage the hate.. and the love for the ..babies? " Babies? " 
[21:11] <P>: "I feel them.. they felt this... they're upset too.. two of them."
[21:12] <P>: She runs her hand through his hair softly " Help me... I...need to lvoe them... but.. hate.. him" 
[21:12] <P>: "He is evil Padme... I looked up to him as a father... and yet he killed me." 
[21:13] <P>: "He.. took you!" she yelled slightly her body shakeing. It had not buit up to the hate. it was instantly forced into her
[21:14] <P>: "I'm with you beloved. I'm with the babies. Save it till you survive the birthing."
[21:14] <P>: seh nods and kisses him softly.. " okay.." 
[21:15] <P>: "If you die with them... there will be no one to avenge me."
[21:18] <P>: " I will not die... I can not let him get away with this" 
[21:19] <P>: Anakin placed a hand to her cheek. "Good." He smiled a bit. but then there was a new pain.. one that was starting to wake Padme up
[21:19] <P>: She wakes suddenly and cries out " Oh.. " she hits a button by her bed.. to call for help 
[21:20] <P>: C-3PO rushed in. "Miss Padme? You sent for me?"
[21:20] <P>: ".. help... babies.. " she cried again as the pain got worse.. 
[21:22] <P>: "Oh my!" The droid rushed off, getting medical help. They pulled up quickly, rushing to her side. Several techs and droids, having been warned of the situation.
[21:26] <P>: She cries out, the droids there to help her through it. Though she could not see him she could feel Anakin with her during it. 
[21:28] <P>: He was there inside of her.. as he'd said.. he'd had no where else to go. He hadn't vanished into the force.
[21:31] <P>: The cries and panting go on for hours.. until thre is the sound of a baby crying... 
[21:36] <P>: "A boy!" One of the nurses tells her, smiling.
[21:37] <P>: She barely hears it as more pain washed over her and she cries out again.. and then the sounds of anotehr baby crying
[21:38] <P>: "A girl!" Another nurse told her. They held the babies close for Padme to see.
[21:39] <P>: She smiles.. softly. " oh my love" she whispers... " .. Luke.. and Leia.. " she could see how much Luke looked like Anakin already 
[21:40] <P>: She wound up passing out, and heard Anakin's voice, "They're so beautyful."
[21:40] <P>: "yes.. they are... anakin Luke.. he looks like you.. " 
[21:40] <P>: "Yes, and Leia looks like you." Anakin smiled.
[21:41] <P>: she reaches out for him
[21:42] <P>: Anakin took her hand. "I love you.. so much."
[21:42] <P>: She kisses him softly " I love you too.. " 
[21:43] <P>: "They need you Padme.. raise them well. Teach them. They are strong with the force."
[21:43] <P>: She nods.. " I will do everything for them.. 
  
[21:44] <P>: "Through me.. you are strong will be strong with the force too.. you can learn what I knew."
[21:44] <P>: She nods , and kisses him softly " .. teach me.. " 
[21:45] <P>: He grinned. "When you are well enough, to to the emperor. He will help you... and I will guide you."
[21:46] <P>: she kisses him deeply and holds him tight to her. 
[21:47] <P>: "Keep them safe. Obi-Wan might want to abduct the twins." Anakin whispered, rocking her in his arms.
[21:47] <P>: "..I will not let him have them.. " 
[21:48] <P>: "You are not ready to face my old master... he bested even me... hide them if you must."
[21:49] <P>: ".. I  do not think he could deflect a blaster to the back of his head" 
[21:49] <P>: "He will sense your feelings before you have a shot... he is very fast. Be careful my love. I will teach you to shroud yourself... and to use the force."
[21:50] <P>: She nods.. " .. I will.. hide them. Take them somewhere safe" 
[21:51] <P>: "Talk to the emperor, but do not seperate yourself from them. They need you."
[21:51] <P>: "I wont.. they will always be with me.. " 
[21:53] <P>: "As I will be with you." He smiled, and she could feel his warmth inside of her.. not just the anger and hatred.. but his profound love for her. Love for the twins.
[21:53] <P>: She smiles and enjoys the feeling finding comfort in in all.. including the hate... 
[21:54] <P>: He was in her... with her... and would not be seperated from her 
[22:01] <P>: She sighs softly.. " I.. will do what I Can" she said softly
[22:02] <P>: "I know you will. You are my angel... you will avenge my death... the death of the father of your babies."
[22:03] <P>: She nods.. " .. one that should not have been.. not that way.. you had a life to live.. " 
[22:04] <P>: "Obi-Wan stole it from me." he sighed, "I am with you.. but there is so much... things..." He hugged her tighter.
[22:04] <P>: She holds him tightly and rubs his back softly.. she wondered what this would be like.. he was with her.. within her.. what would that mean 
[22:05] <P>: That inside of becoming one with the force.. he had become one with her... but was still able to talk with her. She could feel him... things he'd been through...
[22:10] <P>: It was all a lot to take in. Everything he felt, .. everything heknew she knew.. even if she could not understand it all. " .. Will he come back? " 
[22:10] <P>: "I'm sure he will.. some day. He will come for the babies."
[22:11] <P>: "I.. need to leave here then.. soon.. " 
[22:11] <P>: "Talk to the emperor my love. He will understand and help you."
[22:11] <P>: She kisseshim and nods.. " I will.. soon as i am strong enough" 
[22:12] <P>: "I know." He held her, rocking her back and forth in this peace that dreamland had become. When she slept, he would be there. But even awake, she would know he was there.. his thoughts and feelings were with her.
[22:16] <P>: She curls up against him and nuzzles him softly ' I love you.. so much.. I will make it work" 
[22:17] <P>: "And I love you. I belong with you. Forever."
[22:18] <P>: She kisses him again and takes a deep breath, and then the sounds of babies crying woke her.. " ... my babies" 
[22:18] <P>: C-3PO was there, looking after her. "Do you need me to get someone Miss Padme?" He asked.
[22:19] <P>: ".. were are my babies" 
[22:20] <P>: "Right here." t
[22:20] <P>: The droid showed her to the bassenet where the twins were laying
[22:21] <P>: She smiles..and reaches out to them, strokeing their cheeks.. ".. I have to keep them safe" she said softly
[22:21] <P>: "They are safe." Then the droid turned his head, "What about Master Anakin?"
[22:22] <P>: ".. he.. is.. " she paused softly ".. Obi-Wan took his life" she said finally.. thinking there was not other way to expain it
[22:22] <P>: "Oh my! Why would Master Obi-Wan do a horrible thing like that?"
[22:23] <P>: She shakes her head .. " .. I don't know.. for the wrong reasons... " 
[22:23] <P>: C-3PO put a hand on Padme's shoulder. "I'm so sorry." Even as he said that, it was like the droid was sad too. After all, he just learned his maker was dead.
[22:24] <P>: "... do not worry. He will pay" 
[22:25] <P>: The droid nodded and headed away. Just then, there was a buzzing noise indicating someone had arrived.
[22:27] <P>: .. She gasps.. and sits on the bed watching her children wondering who it was. Leaving a droid to answer the door. 
[22:28] <P>: Several red guards entered, along with the emperor himself. "I came to congradulate you Senator.. but... I also came with some very sad news." It was odd how he could be friendly to someone who was in a group trying to get him to step down.
[22:30] <P>: ".. Anakin is dead" she said before he had the chance to say anything more. She looks up at him " or do you speak of some other sad news? " 
[22:32] <P>: The emperor nodded. "So you know already. I'm so sorry... He was like a nephew to me you know. I did not want this to happen to him simply for defending me. He was a good man, and will be missed by everyone." He steadied himself, "And congradulations on your children. At least, he will go on in some form."
[22:33] <P>: ".. In more then that " she said softly " .. I would like the chance to speak with you. Though.. I do not believe here is the safe palce. May I come see you in a few days? After I have regained my strength? " 
[22:33] <P>: "Of course you may. The wife of Anakin Skywalker is always welcome, even if we don't always see eye to eye politicly."
[22:34] <P>: ".. I think we are in a much deeper agreement now" she smiles softly " thank you for your visit.. and for the news. I am glad you choose to come tell me yourself" 
[22:34] <P>: "Save your strength. I know he worried a great deal about you. Feared you were going to die." The emperor smiled softly.
[22:35] <P>: She nods " I will. Thank you" 
[22:36] <P>: He left then, giving her privacy with the babies.
[22:36] <P>: She picks up each baby and feeds them makeing sure they are healthy
[22:37] <P>: Dispite being small, they seemed very healthy.. and she could feel it... the force.. how it flowed through them. Anakin had given her a gift... she could feel the force..
[22:37] <P>: she traces a finger along their face softly.. 
[22:38] <P>: Each of them tried to reach for her fingers, giggling and gooing at her already. but soon, they slept again. Growing babies needed their sleep
[22:41] <P>: She puts them back down and lets them sleep.. she calls a droid to come in to watch them with orderst o let no one in or to see the babies without her present. She then goes gets herself cleaned and changed. coming back she sits down again. watching them carefully wondering when Obi-Wan might show up
[22:42] <P>: But he had no intention of showing up yet. She had no idea how he felt. The pain he suffered from the loss of his friend. It was horrible. He had to kill Anakin. The boy's last words to him were of hate. Simply horrible.
[22:44] <P>: A few days later, with a heavy heart she left her children in the protection of a few droids and made her way to visit the emperor. To talk to him, and tell him what she knew.
[22:45] <P>: "I'm so delighted we can sit and talk Padme.. though I wish it were under better cercumstances. I know that you did not want me in the possition I am in for this long let along for the time it will be, but let me assure you, I am doing it all for the sake of peace and security throughout the galaxy." As he spoke, the feelings of Anakin and memories came strong to her. Anakin had felt the galaxy needed a strong leader. Someone wise and powerful who would lead the senate to make them agree for the good of all the people.
[22:48] <P>: She nods.. " I am too.. I have something important to talk to you about however. More then just ... your position and the galaxy. Its something more personal. Between .. Anakin and I" 
[22:49] <P>: The emperor smiled, rising from his spot. "I know... I sense him in you. His power. Even in death. He wished for you to succeed him, so he gave you his all."
[22:50] <P>: "... he.. is.. in me. Its strange.. I need to protect my children more then anything. He will come for them. 
[22:51] <P>: "Yes. The one who murdered your husband." He inclined his head a bit. "Padme... with your new found power, you could become quiet strong. Let me teach you the ways of the force."
[22:55] <P>: ".. I want you too. I .. want to protect my children,.. avenge my husband, and support him. Even though he is gone.. " 
[22:56] <P>: "Then, become my apprentice. Take your husband's place. Only with my training can you become strong enough to defeat the one that bested even him."
[22:56] <P>: She nods... " I will.. just.. help me protectthem. I want them to be safe" 
[22:57] <P>: "I will. As I promised him I would help you."

[23:27] <P>: The emperor indicated she should kneel. A memory flashed through her mind.. of Anakin.. confused... having just taken out master windu... unsure of himself.. pledging himself to Palp's teachings so that he might gain power to save Padme.
[23:28] <P>: She takes a deep breath and kneels down before him, the memory still very fresh in her mind.Though she was not as conused as Anakin ahd been. She was doing this fully aware of what she was doing. She had a purpose to her life now, a goal. 
[23:29] <P>: "I have never felt one who has been given the powers you have, but they are so strong... and suit you well. You will make for a powerful Sith. From now on, you will be.. Darth Mysry."
[23:30] <P>: She nods " thank you master" the words feel easily from her lips as though they had been there her entire life. Waiting to be spoken
[23:30] <P>: He smiled. "Rise, my new apprentice. Your training begins."
[23:36] <P>: She stands slowly and felt a new pride in herself, and she recognized the feeling of arrogance that Anakin had shown so much of in his life. 
[23:37] <P>: She had much of his power in her... not all of course. And with it came his emotions.. and at times.. bits of his memories. The emperor took her too another room, handing her a light saber. "This one is for you until you learn to make your own. I want to see if you can use it."
[23:38] <P>: She held the lightsaber it in hand, the weight felt strange to her.It was an unusual and yet familer sensation at the same time. She closed her eyes and seemed to "ask" anakin for help. Guidence
[23:39] <P>: She could litterly feel his hands over hers, pulling her into the propper stances that had become so natural for him. The blade ignited in her hand, glowing red with power.
[23:40] <P>: She followed the guidence he gave her.. and she looked at the glowing red saber in her hand and could feel the power that it meant. "... I've never felt anything like it" 
[23:41] <P>: "It is the force.. flowing through you... and Anakin too I'm sure. He guides you, doesn't he?" The emperor stepped back to watch her, smiling still
[23:41] <P>: She nods.. " he does.Its so strange" she moved the saber in her hand getting used to the weight in her hand. 
[23:42] <P>: "Use his power. Let him guide you. He will help you become the fastest learer ever." He might have lost Anakin, but he'd gained a new pupil... a very interesting one at that
[23:43] <P>: She closes her eyes again and calls out to Anakin, wanting his help again to push her forward. To give her the confidence she would need to succedd.
[23:45] <P>: And she could feel him. Guiding her arms, flowing through her. Whispering in her head. The guidence she needed. It was one of those things... that it wasn't long before it was becoming second nature.
[23:46] <P>: She allowed him to guide her, and then quickly had become comfortable with the motions. The feeling of the light saber in her hand familer and comfortable. 
[23:47] <P>: And that was just the first. It was a few months latter... bottle feeding the babies... when her new abilities began to manifest. She had seen Anakin use this trick before... telekenisis. The ability to float objects with her mind

[23:49] <P>: She smiled actully at the fact that learning to contol that skill had made her life as a mother easier. She could do more then one thing at once and it made it easier to handle the babies. She had a feeling that this is not what the skills where nesseccarly meant for but it helped her strengthen it allthe same. 
[23:50] <P>: To flex the abilities that took others a longer time to master. Funny.. in another reality.. this was the way her son had been trained. Fast.. a crash course of sorts.. and she was picking up on it just as easy
[23:51] <P>: She worked on her skills and with the emperor everyday. She had a deep desire and push to become well trained and swift. She needed to protect her children, and to avenge her husbands death. No one... really knew what was happening though. About her and Anakin, or what she was doing now. She did not want Obi-Wan to know..not yet. He would find out first hand. 
[23:52] <P>: Her plans for that were nearly runed one day when her old friend from the senate, Bail Organa, showed up at her home unannounced.
[23:55] <P>: She was mid-training when he arrived and she had to rush quickly, and hide her light saber, and explain the one broken vase that she had rushed to quickly to place back when he knocked. .. Going to the door she spoke " Bail.. how nice to see you" she said a litte breathless
[23:56] <P>: Bail smiled softly. "Padme.. how I've missed you in the senate. I'm sorry I havn't seen you in a few months. I've been busy elsewhere. The new, government, weighs heavily on me.." He frowned slightly as he looked at her. And she could sense his sudden confusion.
[23:57] <P>: She was drsesed strangly, black pants, with a loose fitting black shirt that hung partly open. The space was a bit of a mess with childrens toys on the floor and the sounds of babies cooing " .. Its alright.. please come in.. " 
[23:58] <P>: Bail nodded politely and entered the home. He relaxed slightly. "I'm sorry to hear about what happend. It wasn't until after that I learned you and Anakin Skywalker were secretly married. You have my sympathies."
[00:00] <P>: "No one knew.. it needed to be that way. Life.. has gone on in a fashion. I have the children" she had to fight down to urge to use her skills infront of him. She had gotten used to it. Sneaking in uses for them in her everyday life. 
[00:00] <P>: Bail smiled again. "May I see them? I've always wanted children.." A sigh escaped his lips. He and his poor wife had never been blessed with a child.
[00:01] <P>: She smiles and nods " Of course.. " she leads him to the babies room, where in two beds side by side were her children.. " Luke and Leia" he could see how they looked liek their parents. Anyone could
[00:02] <P>: He smiled down at them. "They are beautful Padme. They must make you happy." He stopped short of very happy, knowing that anyone who just lost their spouse can't be that.
[00:03] <P>: " They do.. filling a void" she said. She was working hard to cover the truth. The fact that she was still close to Anakin, and she "shared" herself with him in her dreams at night when she could be with him again. 
[00:04] <P>: "I'm sure they will grow up strong, like you... and their father."
[00:04] <P>: "I know they will. .. they are so strong " she reaches down and caresses his cheek she then turns to him " so.. how goes the senate work? " 
[00:05] <P>: "It is busy. Some systems are very outraged about the.. reorginization. I myself, was opposed to it as I know you were, but, I have pledged myself to the governing body none the less to promote peace."
[00:06] <P>: Padme could suddenly feel that he was only telling a half truth there... keeping something from her
[00:06] <P>: She turns to him " You.. can feel free to speak freely to me Bail.. is there.. something else you want to say? " she looked at him her face softing hopeing that would help him trust in her. 
[00:08] <P>: "Well, Padme, times have changed. There have been rummors that you now visit with the emperor a great deal. Rummors that, before his death, your husband was being promoted to the emperor's right hand for all intensive purposes." He wasn't sure what else to say.
[00:09] <P>: "The emperor is a dear friend. He has been a great support to me in the loss of my husband. I go for no other reason. As for what was happened between he and Anakin .. that I do not know. I was not told of such a thing" it as so strange, that the minor deception came so easily to her. 
[00:10] <P>: Bail nodded his head. "I'm sure he has been. I want you to know, I am here for you too Padme.. if you ever wish to talk."
[00:10] <P>: she smiles softly and carefully places a hand on his arm " Thank you. I truely apperciate that" 
[00:11] <P>: Another smile came to his face. Looking down at the babies he said, "Take care of these two. We shall be in touch."
[00:11] <P>: She nods " I can do nothing else" she motions for him to follow her out of their room leaving the babies to rest again 
[00:11] <P>: He headed out with her, offering his hand.
[00:12] <P>: She takes it, feeling polite and strangely at ease. Knowing she could handle almost anything now. 
[00:12] <P>: He left with that. It seemed, there was much on his mind.
[00:12] <P>: She sits down and says aloud " what is he keeping.. " 
[00:13] <P>: She could feel her husband's mistrust deap withen her. Perhaps Bail was still meaning to overthrow Palpatine.
[00:14] <P>: She leans back on the couch and closes her eyes to relax for a moment to allow Anakin to speak directly to her if he desired. She had learned how to talk to him, even when she was not fully asleep
[00:14] <P>: "My love.." His voice whispered to her, "I think he is up to something."
[00:15] <P>: "I agree..he was keeping something to himself.. but I can't figure out what. Clearly he doesn't trust me... being close to the emperor has put me out the outs with him. Even ifhe did not say it" 
[00:16] <P>: "He also commanded Obi-Wan during the war. Perhaps he is still in leage with him."
[00:17] <P>: " .. I am not happy about this" she said after a long pause " .. I need to know what he is up too" 
[00:17] <P>: "You can always have him followed. But I belive he is a danger to you.. and the babies."
[00:18] <P>: ".. Followed it is.. I will not have a threat looming" the babies where her trigger. She could stand up for herself.. but she would not have her children in any danger. QUickly she does what is needed to have bail, descretly followed. 
[00:19] <P>: and he was tailed... all the way back to his secret base.. where Obi-Wan and Yoda were in hiding.
[00:21] <P>: She paces her home when she finds out trying to decide what her next step will be.
[00:22] <P>: Bail reported to Obi-Wan. "I'm afraid Padme is... not the person she used to be. I could tell, there was something she was hiding. I would have expected her to jump at the chance to work against the emperor but, she never brought it up to me."

[00:22] <P>: He sighs softly " .. Could it just be grief? She believes that she has found a friend in her sorrow and does not see what is before her? " 
[00:23] <P>: Bail closed his eyes. "It might be. Perhaps she is tired. She has twins to care for and her husband is dead." He sat down, sighing.
[00:24] <P>: " We should just watch for now. Did anything else.. seem odd? " 
[00:24] <P>: "such as?" Bail tilted his head.
[00:24] <P>: "about her.. her demenor. Perhaps things she said.. or the way she looked. She was a very consistant person. So changes could give clues to her motives" 
[00:25] <P>: "She's grieving still. Dressed all in black. I'm not sure what else to say... she did seem like a woman in pain though getting through it for the twins."
[00:26] <P>: He nods " well.. I think for now we watch. Do you agree Master Yoda? " 
[00:27] <P>: Yoda was frowning in thought, rubbing his chin. "The twins... most powerful they must be. Their father in them I think. Hope for us, perhaps."
[00:28] <P>: Obi-Wan nods " .. are they.. should they stay with her? If we could train them.. " 
[00:28] <P>: "Not safe near the emperor. Corrupt them he will."
[00:29] <P>: Obi-Wan sighs " she has lost her husband.. we need to try to get her to come along. I don't want to just take them from her like that. Not if we do not have too" 
[00:30] <P>: "We will have to find a way to talk to her. Perhaps, get her to come out this way with the twins?" Bail suggested
[00:32] <P>: "Who should talk to her?" 

[00:33] <P>: "I can try and persuede her to come.. and we can all talk to her.. get her to understand the danger she and the twins are in."

[00:34] <P>: Obi-Wan nods " I think you are the best option. By now.. she knows what happeend to him. I do not think I should be the one to face her yet" 
[00:36] <P>: "Think she'll be upset at you Obi-Wan?"
[00:36] <P>: "I would think so.I am not sure that she will understand yet. She is still grieving" 
[00:36] <P>: "And you Obi-Wan? How are you fairing?"
[00:37] <P>: He takes a deep breath " It has not been easy.. " he said simply 
[00:37] <P>: "I think your Jedi training helps more then what she's going through. I'm sure it was not.. easy. I know you two were close."
[00:38] <P>: He nods " yes.. I think so. She will be fine I think though" 
[00:38] <P>: "The twins will probably help. They are her link to him. The boy looks so much like his father already."
[00:39] <P>: Obi-Wan nods, he had wanted to see them,but he could not do it. Not yet. 
[00:40] <P>: After all, he had tried to keep his promise to Padme. Tried and failed. She might never understand why he couldn't bring her husband home.
[00:41] <P>: It was true she couldn't understand it. At this point she can see it from Anakins point of view which was skewed slightly. 
[00:43] <P>: Skewed by his rage... the hate and the anger... not the compassion of the old Anakin... the old Anakin would have understood
[00:43] <P>: She was angry, with Obi-Wan, the Jedi. Everything that she felt had taken him from her. 
[00:44] <P>: Everything, but the dark side she was now imersing herself in. It was that which had truely stollen her husband from her.

[22:55] <P>: Sitting with Leia in her arms she hums a soft tune, thinking about Anakin, and what was ahead of her. Worried about how she would go about it
[22:55] <P>: There was a soothing sensation inside of her... Anakin of course, trying to calm her fears.
[22:57] <P>: "I'm scared" she said, to herself, and to him. 
[22:58] <P>: ~don't be. We're together~
[22:59] <P>: ".. But.... its so hard.. what am I going to do? "
[22:59] <P>: ~We'll do it together love. For now, the babies need you."
[22:59] <P>: ~
[23:01] <P>: She nods, and goes back to paying attention to the babies. She was rocking Leia, and bottle feeding Luke using her skills to do it
[23:02] <P>: And the babies seemed to enjoy it. Perhaps they felt their mother and their father holding them. Neither were afraid.

[23:10] <P>: She uses the force with them a lot. Trying to keep them from fearing it, and to have their father closer to them. When they'd settled down she moved to a window and looks out, sighing softly 
[23:11] <P>: It was raining outside. She could see the Cloud's easily from the tall tower she lived in. Quiet dark and beauitful. And it was almost as if Anakin were holding her.
[23:12] <P>: She settles in and just watches the sky... " i love you " she whispered knowing he would hear it, and feel it. She had started to feel more comfortable in the darkness. 
[23:17] <P>: She moves to a small palace with her babies, and lives their happily for a few years. As the twins head toward their 3rd birthdays Padme would take them with her when she went to visit The Emperor, which was fairly often.  Quite a few times she left them with him while she did other things.
[23:18] <P>: And she was quiet well skilled. The spirit of her husband flowed through her... giving her his strength and abilities.. but she had more time to control the dark side then he had.
[23:19] <P>: She worked with it everyday as well, detrmined to be able to handle Obi-Wan when the time came. Dispite her attatchement to the darkside she was a good mother. Caring and loving her children. Having fun with them
[23:20] <P>: After all, she needed to make up for the fact thsat they didn't have their father. He wanted to play with them too.. to cuddle them.. to give them attention.
[23:21] <P>: She spent more time with her children then anyone else. They were her life. Sitting watching them with the Emperor she speaks " Master.. do you think Obi-Wan is going to act soon? " 
[23:22] <P>: The emperor nodded slowly. "Your feelings tell you that do you? I foresee him coming. Beyond that, there is clouds."
[23:23] <P>: She nods " I am frustrated.. I wish I could get it over with. It has been years in the making" 
[23:23] <P>: "Be patient... he will come. You will have your revenge."

[23:24] <P>: She watches the twins again, each playing with some toys. 
[23:24] <P>: Elsewhere, Bail was discussing with Obi-Wan how best to handle the situation
[23:25] <P>: Obi-Wan sighs deeply " We need to get the children away. I had hoped that she would see, but she know takes them to see him. She even leaves them with him" 
[23:26] <P>: Bail nodded. "We have no choice but to go to Coruscant. You can be smuggled on my ship. I am a member of the senate. It is easy for me to get in and out."
[23:27] <P>: He nods and sighs " I wish this wasn't so.. there is something going on with her. Deeper then it appaers I fear" 
[23:27] <P>: Bail nodded. "I wish as well old friend."
[23:28] <P>: Obi-Wan lifts a hand to his head and runs a hand thorugh is hair " I am not looking forward to this" 
[23:28] <P>: "Nor am I. But it must be done." He headed for his ship
[23:29] <P>: Obi-Wan follows, prepared to hide
[23:30] <P>: It wasn't long before they got to Coruscant. Bail decided to head to the palace first, knowing Obi-Wan would follow in secret. He wanted to talk to Padme.
[23:31] <P>: Obi-Wan did, staying close but hidden. So he could move unnoticed. Padme was working with the twins, playing a game with them. 
[23:31] <P>: Bail was escorted in by C-3PO. "Hello Padme. You are looking well." He greated.
[23:32] <P>: She looks up with a smile, she was still dressed in black, which was strange. Given it had been 3 years since her husband had died. " Hello.. to what do I owe this visit? " 
[23:33] <P>: "How are the twins?" He asked, glancing at them, then at her, "Well.. my visit is to see how you were doing."
[23:34] <P>: They were playing with toys, oddly calm for children their age, focused as well. " They are doing wonderfully... " she stands s she had been on the floor with them " .. well I am doing well" 
[23:35] <P>: Bail watched her, not noticing the children using their minds to play with the toys and not just their hands. Elsewhere, Obi-Wan might sense Anakin... there was no denying that feeling... the Anakin he fought on the volcano planet.
[23:36] <P>: Obi-Wan stopped dead in his tracks.. a sick feeling in the pit of his stomach.. " Anakin.. but how? " 
[23:37] <P>: The answer to that question was not a pleasent one. As Bail talked with Padme.. he was becoming increasingly uneasey.. and she would be able to feel that.

[23:38] <P>: She tried to keep the conversation light, finaly she gave up and turned and looked directly into Bails eyes " What is makeing you so uneasy my old friend? 
[23:38] <P>: "There is something.. so different about you Padme..." Bail shook his head, "I don't understand."

[23:40] <P>: She gets a strange smirk on her face, and she raises her hand and suddenly something flies to her hand. It was a familer shape.. a lightsaber " Something is different?"
[23:40] <P>: That's when Bail backed up, wide eyed and suddenly terrified. It wafted off of him... it was almost sweet.
[23:41] <P>: Her smirk turns into a grin " Have you figured it out yet My friend?" she ignited the light saber, letting it grow the beautiful red
[23:42] <P>: Obi-Wan was so distracted by what he saw and felt.. he gave away his possition. His jaw dropped wide. "Oh no..."

[23:43] <P>: She gets a bigger grin " Obi-Wan.... you have finally come.. " she turns toward where she heard him " ... hmm how nice" 
[23:44] <P>: Bail ran off as Obi-Wan stepped out of hiding, shaking his head in extreme shock. "This cannot be.,"
[23:44] <P>: "what is it that cannot be? " she was so much like him now, her motions, her words. Even her tone of voice rang of Anakin

[23:47] <P>: Anakin had moved with her so long... really much of him controlled the body. Well, in some ways they had merged.. but in others... it was really his anger.. his rage.. his hate. He hadn't been comforted in his final momments.. hadn't vanished into the force.. instead.. he'd merged into the body of his beloved Padme.
[23:47] <P>: ".. What has happened to you? " 
[23:48] <P>: "I have grown more powerful then you can possibly belive." With a flick of her wrist, Padme got the children out of harms way.. into another room where they could play without being idstracted by this mess.
[23:49] <P>: He watched though still in shock as she was so powerful now " How.. you.. were not trained or.. even strong with the force. How did this happen? " 
[23:49] <P>: "You murdered my husband... and he has made me powerful to avenge him." It was her voice.. yet not. Her words yet... something else lurked benieth. It was her, but also another...
[23:50] <P>: Obi-Wans eyes flahs open wide " That.. that is why.. the emperor.. he has been training you.. teaching you.. " 
[23:51] <P>: "Yes... it has been. For this momment... He said you would come.. and I have been waiting."
[23:52] <P>: ".. You cannot do this. I put him out of his misery! I loved him!" Obi-Wan was trying to speak to a Padme that no longer existed. The one that had faith in him
[23:53] <P>: The one who was clouded in the haze of hate and pain that Anakin was uninentionally covering her her.. smothering her in. She might have belived she felt those things.. but in truth.. Anakin did. "Misery? You murdered him Obi-Wan... took his life from him. How can you attack someone you love?"
[23:54] <P>: ".... He was .. destroying himself.. and what he had worked for.. joining what he had sworn to destroy.. Please.. it is his hate that is forcing you know. Padme.. please... " 
[23:56] <P>: "Shut up. You tricked me Obi-Wan.. you promised you wouldn't hurt him... and you killed him. I am through with your lies." The hate filled form of the Sith lord put her hand up, trying to use a force choke on Obi-Wan.

[23:59] <P>: Obi-Wan was taken by surprise.. but a voice broke thorugh to "anakin" ... " Anakin.. ... please. You've .. clouded me.. by your hate. I know he did you wrong, but he did you right at the same time.. " Padme wanted to stop this insanity before it went further. 
[00:00] <P>: "He has to die..." The voice answered, "Has to... he broke his word... he is a lier... don't listen to him."
[00:01] <P>: "Please.. my love.. I have.. been sufficated by you for 3 years.. I know your power and your hate I don't want it. He did only what he thought was right. Would it not have been worse for him to leave you.. die.. burn... alone in that hell?" 
[00:02] <P>: ~He must answer for his crimes against me. He killed me...~ This voice was only heard by Padme.. inside her head as Obi-Wan watched. Everywhere was anger.. hate... rage...
[00:04] <P>: She tried to plead with him again " You are killing me.. I am not you. I do not have your hate.. the power.. could be used for so much good.. Obi-Wan was trying to do you a service. To keep you from suffering" 
[00:05] <P>: There was silence... Anakin's hold was shaking, but it was still he that gripped the lightsaber. "Must.. finish this.." The voice spoke directly to Obi-Wan... seemingly ignoring the voice of love and reason... but only seemingly.
[00:06] <P>: Obi-Wan was trying what he could. but the power was there, he was having trouble fighting back. The voice continued " Remember love.. .. love for him. He did it not to hurt you.. but because he loved you and could not watch you suffer. .." 
[00:07] <P>: ~He's the reason I was suffering~ Anakin insisted,  forcing onward. Perhaps Obi-Wan could help with this.
[00:08] <P>: Obi-Wan gets away from the grip.. " .. I  am sorry Anakin!... I never... wanted that" 
[00:09] <P>: Eyes burning yellow, teeth clentched, the possed Sith growled again, "You betrayed me.." there was one thing that might work... the one thing Anakin truely cared about... but wasn't noticing through the anger... what it was doing to Padme...
[00:10] <P>: "You.. have turned her!.. the one thing you wanted always to be good.. she is anything but now.. " 
[00:11] <P>: That caused a stop in mommentem... a stop and a stare across at Obi-Wan. "What?"
[00:11] <P>: "... Look in a mirror. See what you have done to her .. your hate" 
[00:11] <P>: ~What is he talking about?~ Anakin's voice whispered in Padme's mind.
[00:12] <P>: "..I have spent 3 years.. turning into you.. hate filled.. turning away those aroundme.. even.. phsyically " 
[00:13] <P>: There was another pause, a faulter on the lightsaber now.. it nearly slid from the Sith's grip.
[00:14] <P>: Obi-Wan watched closely " look.. carefully at what you have done to her. Through your hate." 
[00:15] <P>: ~No... this isn't...~ There was a lot of head shaking now... an attempt to deny when so close to the truth
[00:15] <P>: "It is true" answerwed Padmes voice "  I was open to you. and ..took it. " Obi-Wan spoke "useing her.. to get what you desired" 
[00:16] <P>: Tears came. ~I couldn't have... no..~ He didn't want to belive it had been him all along.. simply his desires.. corrputing and possessing her..
[00:17] <P>: padme " .. Anakin.. I did not want to let you go, but.. you did not stay here to keep me company. You used me.. for your revenge" 
[00:18] <P>: ~There was no where else to go... I.. just wanted to be with you... to be with you..~ Sadness now... replacing a good deal of the hate.. flooding... sadness.. grief.. pain... You wanted revenge.. you brought all your anger.. I didn't, and don't want to be without you. But i do not want your hate any more" 
[00:20] <P>: The lightsaber dropped... and Padme had almost complete control over her body again... purely her.. and not the merged together feeling she'd had with Anakin for the past three years... but she could feel him... he was in anguish... utterly confused and sad.
[00:21] <P>: She feel down not having the strength to stand " .. Obi-Wan.. I'm sorry" It was her voice now, and she spoke in her mind. " I know you didn't mean any arm" 
[00:22] <P>: ~Padme... Padme...~ The hate was in the background now... almost overwhelmed by almost as destructive feelings.. sadness.. grief... sorrow... he was filled with them... they bound him.
[00:23] <P>: She closes her eyes holding herself in her arms.... " anakin.. please.. shh.. I know you meant no harm.. not really " 
[00:24] <P>: Obi-Wan approuched cautiously. He was worried this might somehow be a ruse but... he trusted his instincts.
[00:24] <P>: She was curled up on the floor, her eyes starting to fill with tears.
[00:25] <P>: Obi-Wan squatted down and put his arms aroud her.. discreatly pushing the lightsaber out of reach. "Shh.. Padme.." He said softly.
[00:25] <P>: She started to cry.. " .. he is hurting so much.. " 
[00:26] <P>: "He needs to let go Padme.. it's that pain... the hate.. the anger.. all of it.. that binds him here... and to you." He said softly, feeling sadness whell up in himself... He hadn't wanted this. He had hoped, that killing Anakin would let the boy rest in peace.. but.. his spirit hadn't gone to the force... the hate teathered it to Padme.
[00:27] <P>: .. " .. I'll lose him... again.. and.. what he gave me.. I didn't like the hate.. but..the power" she said " .. so much good could come of it" 
[00:29] <P>: Obi-Wan sighed. "Padme... it's your choice... but... you saw how he was controlling you.. even if he didn't mean to... That power...  It's born of hate... that hate is poisoning you.. just as it did him. Just as it's still hurting him..."
[00:30] <P>: "I know... I know.. it is.. better if he lets go.. moves on. " 
[00:31] <P>: "For both of you. This is why Jedi forbidden attachments. They might bring you joy... but they can also lead to self destruction." Obi-Wan whispered softly. He was attached in his own way to Anakin but, knew how to let go.
[00:31] <P>: She takes a deep breath and speaks in he rmind.. " anakin..... you.. you need to let go love" 
[00:33] <P>: Anakin was still whimpering softly. He was scared. He didn't know how not to be with her any more. He just wanted to be with her.. but being with her had.. hurt her... in the long run. He had never meant for that to happen.
[00:34] <P>: She didn't want to be without him either, but.. he was bound toher by hate.. so giving that up would.. break the bond between them " ... I know.. I am scared too.. getting back to my life.. without. ... everything will be strange.. and lonely but.. it is better" 
[00:35] <P>: He reached out to her. ~Padme..~ He whispered, moving towards her in a manor of speaking. He was already witehn her.. but.. he was moving towards the image she cared of herself.
[00:36] <P>: she did not stop him.. or fight it..shelet it happen. 
[00:37] <P>: He hugged her tightly, terrified to let go. ~I'm scared..~ he confessed. He'd never said that before... never.. been afraid before... not for himself at any rate.
[00:38] <P>: She huggs him back . " Me too, but .. you need to let go of your hate.. "
[00:38] <P>: ~Why?~ He asked her.. even as it was receeding from him. He was loosing the will to be angry... to hate... perhaps because of what he'd put Padme through
[00:39] <P>: " .. your hate hurts you, and me. I do not want to loose you but.. this can't continue not this way' 
[00:40] <P>: There was a few mommnets of Silence.. Obi-Wan watching Padme.. as things continued in her head. Finnaly Anakin said, ~I know... I'm sorry.. i never meant.. to hurt you~
[00:41] <P>: She was curled up on the floor, almost as though she ws in pain " I know.. I wish.. we could .. stay together without it.. but I do not know that it can..I don't think it can" 
[00:42] <P>: Anakin carressed her face gently, looking up at her with sad eyes. ~Can you ever forgive me for what I've done?~
[00:43] <P>: She kisses him softly " Yes.. I can. I know you did no tmean too.. you were lost. I forgive you.. " 
[00:44] <P>: His eyes closed and it seemed like most of the pain was gone... just her words comforted him... took the grief he was carrying away. Tears dripped down his face ~I love you~ He whispered inside of her.
[00:46] <P>: Tears were streaming down her face now.. Obi-Wan could see them, though could do nothing.. " I love you too" 
[00:47] <P>: The fear was gone too. He no longer felt afraid... perhaps a little sad... but... not afraid any more. ~Goodbye my love.~
[00:48] <P>: She nodded.. " Goodbye... " 
[00:48] <P>: Obi-Wan could feel it too... or rather.. couldn't feel Anakin any more. A sad smile formed at his lips. It was ended. "I'm sorry Padme.." He said softly.
[00:49] <P>: She stayed on the floor for a moment, and then got up suddenly and ran to her children who she picked up and pulled to her in a tight embrace. 
[00:50] <P>: Obi-Wan followed her, slowly, wiping at his eyes. He stayed quiet, the twins hugging their mother tightly, sensing how much she needed them.
[00:51] <P>: She sat there rocking them back and forth. Twice now she had lost him, thrown into a life alone yet again. She couldn't feel him, everything she had spent the last 3 years doing.. was nothing. She had now power to use for good.. " .. I .. need to leave.. we.. need to leave" she said holding her children close still 
[00:52] <P>: Obi-Wan nodded. "I was hoping you would feel that way. Come.. we can leave at once." And hopefully then he could talk to her.. to set things right.
[00:53] <P>: She picks up the twins in her arms, and followed Obi-Wan to her way out. She knew that the emperor would feel Anakins leaving.. and she knew he would still want the children. 
[00:53] <P>: That with Anakin finnaly gone.. he'd need the twins more then ever. They'd have to move fast.
[00:54] <P>: She did not argue with him, or question anything. She followed obi-wan wereever he took her. 
[00:54] <P>: Once they were on the ship, leaving Coruscant.. away from the fuming Emperor.. Obi-Wan tried to talk to Padme.
[00:55] <P>: Padme put the twins down for a nap, calming them as best she could given their sudden departure... 
[00:55] <P>: "Padme... I'm so sorry..." Obi-Wan began.
[00:56] <P>: She nods, her eyes still red with tears " .. I know you are"
