<Sanosuke> Sephiroth turned around and headed into the bedroom.

<Gabriel> Cloud looks down and sighs... picking up the cordless from the table and dialing Rufus

<Sanosuke> Rufus picked up after the 4th ring. "Whaaattt?"

<Gabriel> "Sorry... were you asleep?"

<Sanosuke> "Nooo..."

<Gabriel> "Well... you sound bothered... I'll find a hotel'"

<Sanosuke> "What are you talking about?"

<Gabriel> "Sephy came home... and he got mad.... and slapped me... but I deserved it.. " Cloud says slowly

<Sanosuke> "Then why ya looking for a hotel? You drunk again?"

<Gabriel> "No... I just... dont think he wants me here right now... and yes I was drunk and have been for the past 2 weeks.. or havent you noticed... "

<Sanosuke> "Man.. no wonder he slapped you..."

<Gabriel> "Oh thanks... Mr I have a perfect love life and I get to sleep with mine every night...." Cloud says hotly and hangs up

<Sanosuke> Rufus grunted.. especially since he had been in the middle of sex.

<Gabriel> "Rufus unplug the damned thing" Serge says ... tickling his hear

<Sanosuke> "Ok ok.." He ripped the cord from the wall. "That better? It was Cloud."

<Gabriel> "Yes thats much better... and what did he want?"

<Sanosuke> "He's complaining about Seph again..."

<Gabriel> "And to think you almost got stuck with him hmmmm... " Serge purrs...

<Sanosuke> "No.. I never almost got stuck with him.. only in his mind..>"

<Gabriel> "Okay lets drop it... back to business... or Im going to need a cold shower"

<Sanosuke> "Mmm...alright." Rufus lay back down on his belly.

<Sanosuke> (yah.... and Sephy.. Sephy got mad cause he loves Cloud and was trying to shake him back to reality.. seeing that Cloud could have died just sitting there)

<Gabriel> Cloud sits on the floor of the living room.... tears in his eyes "I hate you Rufus... you were probably getting fucked as I was talking to you..."

<Sanosuke> He was seemingly always having sex.

<Gabriel> While he sat by the phone and waited... every night... maybe Sephy wasnt the one for him... no matter how much he wanted him to be

<Sanosuke> Sephy was in the bedroom.. probably getting underessed.

<Gabriel> Cloud gets up... deciding he should get his clothes... and go

<Sanosuke> The shower was running...

<Gabriel> Cloud goes into the bedroom... and sits down on the bed.. deciding that he should just wait and talk before doing anything rash

<Sanosuke> sephiroth was standing in the shower, wetting his hair down.

<Gabriel> Cloud waits for him to finish in the shower.... not wanting to disturb him

<Sanosuke> Sephiroth came out soon after in a towl.

<Gabriel> Cloud looks up at him.. then looks at the floor

<Sanosuke> Sephiroth sighed again and was quiet.

<Gabriel> "Seph... maybe... this isnt working out...."

<Sanosuke> "What?"

<Gabriel> "our... being together..."

<Sanosuke> "Why? Because you're wasting your life being a drunk?"

<Gabriel> Cloud clenches his fists ... and sighs "alright... you dont even have to say..... I'll pack"

<Sanosuke> "Pack..." Sephiroth looked away.

<Gabriel> Cloud takes that as an affirmative to Seph wanting him to leave... and looks for his duffel

<Sanosuke> Sephiroth left the room, slamming a few doors in the appartment.

<Gabriel> Cloud cringes at each slam... and starts dumping things out of drawers... but doesnt get very far before he starts sobbing

<Sanosuke> Sephiroth satdown on the balcony, shaking his head as his long wet hair flowed around him.

<Gabriel> Cloud sits up.. and starts putting things into his bag... carefully refolding Seph's and putting them back in the drawer

<Gabriel> Cloud throws a few other things into the bag... including his issued pistol... and looks for Sephy to say goodbye

<Sanosuke> Sephiroth was out on the balcony, head down...looking at himself.

<Gabriel> Cloud pushes the balcony door open... and looks at him sadly

<Sanosuke> He didn't even seem to notice Cloud.. as if lost in his own world.

<Gabriel> "Seph... Im gonna go now... dont stay mad forever... please..." Cloud says softly...

<Sanosuke> "Fine.." He said softly, "Everyone leaves..."

<Gabriel> Cloud chokes back tears and runs for the door.... Seph didnt even ask him to stay... didnt even want to talk....

<Sanosuke> Because it had never occurd to him that anyone would stay if he asked...

<Gabriel> Cloud runs until he cant breathe anymore.... and collapses into an alley choking and sobbing

<Sanosuke> he had no where to go.... even Rufus seeemd mad at him.

<Gabriel> He had no money... he hadnt gotten a paycheck since he hadnt been going to work

<Sanosuke> he just left home.. he hadn't been thrown out... he had just left

<Gabriel> But sephy didnt want him... he told him to leave... he told him to pack too...

<Sanosuke> Sephiroth hadn't said anything at all

<Sanosuke> but Sephiroth had said nothing

<Gabriel> Nothing at all... Sephy hated him now... and he was all alone ... this time worse than ever

<Gabriel> Cloud crawls into a doorway and cuddles his back fiercely... not sure at all what to do

<Sanosuke> it was cold and rainy out... splattering the ground

<Gabriel> Cloud cringes back into the doorway... trying to stay dry

<Sanosuke> That was hard to do.. his feet and hair were already wet

<Gabriel> It wasnt like it really mattered though... without Sephy he was as good as dead

<Gabriel> It was about 2 weeks before Cloud began to really lose it... cold.. hungry.. and lonely beyond belief

<Sanosuke> He had wandered near Rufus's appartment

<Gabriel> Cloud looks up at it... and enters.. ignoring the doorman's protests as he heads for the elevator...

<Sanosuke> He knew by heart where Rufus lived... and had a spare key

<Gabriel> Cloud fishes his pistol out of his duffel in the elevator... and heads for Rufus' apartment

<Sanosuke> No one was around.. but Rufus was most likely home.

<Gabriel> Cloud opened the door... and stepped into Rufus' apartment.. clicking a clip into place

<Sanosuke> There was noise in the kitchen... not surewho it was.. weather Rufus, Lina, or Serge.

<Gabriel> Cloud moves towards the noise... his gun ready

<Sanosuke> It was Rufus standing there, back to him.

<Gabriel> Cloud raises the pistol.... trying to remain quiet

<Gabriel> Lina blinks... there is what appears to be a homeless man pointing a gun at Rufus.... before she even think she shouts out a rather harmless spell to knock the guy out

<Gabriel> Lina is standing over whoever it is... carefully removing the gun and trying to pretend he's not smouldering slightly

<Sanosuke> Rufus took the gun from thefigure then turned him over. "WHA???"

<Gabriel> "Isnt... that your partner from work?"

<Sanosuke> "Cloud... Gods... I've been looking all over for him..."

<Gabriel> "He was getting ready to... shoot you"

<Sanosuke> "Yah... he must be completely out of it.. cuff him and let's get him somewhere safe.."

<Gabriel> Lina nods and cuffs him... glad Rufus seems to not have noticed how she knocked him out

<Sanosuke> Rufus picked Cloud up, gently shaking him.

<Gabriel> Cloud groans... tugging on his arms slightly.. and waking up when he finds t hey arent budging

<Sanosuke> "Cloud... Cloud.... what the hell is going on?"

<Sanosuke> "Speak to megod damn it! We've been outlooking for you 2 weeks now and then you show up here trying to kill me??"

<Gabriel> Cloud looks dazed for a few moments.. then bursts into tears

<Sanosuke> Rufus frowned and handed the gun off to Lina as he hugged Cloud.

<Gabriel> "He's gone Rufus.. I tried to go back to talk to him and he's not there...."

<Sanosuke> "Sephiroth? We know... there's a manhunt out for him you dumb ass... "

<Gabriel> "Dont call me names.... I havent eaten in a few days... Ive been living on the street... dont call me names........"

<Sanosuke> "It's what you are... anyway..." Rufus grabbed the sandwitch he had been making and let Cloud eat it.

<Gabriel> "Can you please... uncuff me.. I dont like it..."

<Sanosuke> "You tried to kill me.. I can't do that..."

<Gabriel> "Because.... you have everything I ever wanted... '

<Sanosuke> Rufus sighed and lead Cloud over to the couch.

<Gabriel> "please... I dont care if you have to hang me from the ceiling just get em off..."

<Gabriel> "Sephy... he disappeared.... because I left..."

<Gabriel> "Ive been living on the streets for 2 weeks...."

<Gabriel> "maybe longer... Im not sure.. whats the date?"

<Sanosuke> "You've been missing two weeks.."

<Gabriel> Cloud nods... "I didnt have anywhere to go... thats why I was on the streets... "

<Sanosuke> "God damn it Cloud...why'd you go therein the first placE??"

<Gabriel> "My old landlord had already rented out my old place... and you hate me..."

<Sanosuke> Rufus gave him the sandwitch. "How was I to know Seph was on assignement? I figured you just took time off."

<Gabriel> Cloud looks at the sanwich for a moment "He just disappears... leaves a note saying he's got an assignment and I dont see him for days... weeks....."

<Gabriel> "Now I'll never see him again...."

<Sanosuke> "He had no choice.. and now no one knows where he is... better talk to his partner..."

<Sanosuke> Rufus sighed. "I'll go make the phone call..."

<Gabriel> Cloud eats while Rufus is calling... wishing Rufus would just listen and understand that Seph and him are over...

<Sanosuke> Rufus set the phone down soon after and went back to the couch, rubbing his head.

<Gabriel> "Well? And can I have some more to eat... and drink maybe...?"

<Sanosuke> "Sure...." rufus got him a glass of water and another sandwich.

<Gabriel> Cloud eats slowly... savoring it.. since most of the food he got himself was half bad

<Sanosuke> "Better be careful.. Zelgadis is really mad at you..."

<Gabriel> "Mad at me for what... realizing that a relationship isnt working out ...."

<Gabriel> "I told him I'd pack and leave if he wanted.. he just said pack and left slamming doors... doesnt that seem like youre not watned"

<Sanosuke> (actually he whispered pack... in a near questioning tone.. sad to himself.. asking Cloud basicly why but he couldn't talk)

<Gabriel> "I should have just stayed.. but he made me so angry... he didnt understand that I was drinking because I was upset he just disappeared for 3 weeks to god knows where"

<Sanosuke> "I'm taking you with me... you can explain to them what happend... maybe they'll agree with you then." Zelgadis picked him up and walked out with him.

<Gabriel> Kuja rolls his eyes... it looks like he's going to have to take them both ... since they seem quite attached at the moment... and he cant leave witneses.. he reminds himself as he prepares his sleeping gas

<Sanosuke> "You didn't love him so he's lost the hope anyone can love him... he's never been loved..."

<Gabriel> "I fucking loved him..." Cloud says... getting cut short by something that bounces off of his head

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis was about to retort but saw the thing. "What the?"

<Gabriel> Kuja sighs and leans againt the wall waiting for the gas to disperse so he can send in his crew to load the specimens onto his truck... even though one is an inferior human... they were getting along so well they'd have

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis slumped to the ground, passed out.

<Gabriel> Kuja waves his crew over... and pokes at the two on the ground "Alright... load them up and lets get to the airport before somebody realizes Im here...."

<Gabriel> "Hmm... yes we'll pick him up ... just get those two loaded and caged before they come round..."

<Sanosuke> "Yes sir.." They did that, ready to drive their cargo to the airport.

<Gabriel> "I heard the other one is Vicious.. so bring some heavy restraints from the plane'

<Sanosuke> "Yes sir... wehave pleanty of seditive darts."

<Gabriel> Kuja nods ... alright... whose coming wiht me... and whose staying to guard the captives?

<Sanosuke> A few walked to him and 3 stayed behind to watch their current captives.

<Gabriel> "Right... lets go then... " Kuja says... waiting for his crew to climb aboard thier truck... and heading off to where he's going to find his next pet

<Sanosuke> They followed him loyaly inside, one handing him a map to find their next target.

<Gabriel> Kuja gets them to where Zell lives... its on the edge of town in a deserty area.. not far from the training facility

<Sanosuke> He wasn't in his uniform.. he was just in a pair of boxing trunks.. hitting a hanging sack in the clear back room.

<Gabriel> Kuja smiles... he's a rather lovely specimen... and pleasingly masculine

<Gabriel> "get the webbing out to slow him down!! " Kuja shouts... shouldering something that looks like a rocket launcher

<Sanosuke> One was still pinned under him as the others launched the net to snag him.

<Gabriel> Kuja fires a sticky mass of stuff at Zell that turns into mass of webbing... further ensnaring him

<Sanosuke> Zell growled, still gripping one ofthe men who was trappedunder him.

<Gabriel> Kuja swings the cannon off of his shoulder and clubs Zell over the head with it... not wanting to lose a man

<Sanosuke> "ARrggg..." Zell tried to lash out.

<Gabriel> "Would you go down you stupid lizard?"

<Sanosuke> "Let me go!" He snapped.

<Gabriel> "Sorry.... no can do..." Kuja says... and gets out his sticks... since the gas isnt working

<Sanosuke> The tail was the only thing loose so it thrashed about.

<Gabriel> Kuja orders someone to sit on the tail so he can inject the struggling man

<Sanosuke> Someone does.. almost getting thrown off since even the tail is powerful.,

<Gabriel> Kuja grimaces and gives Zell a dose that would knock out an elephant

<Sanosuke> That's what made Zell go down..a fter all that rest.

<Gabriel> "Finally.. my he was tough..." Kuja says.. giving his side a soft kick

<Sanosuke> "We going now boss?"

<Gabriel> "Yes... have the medic entubate him in case he stops breathing... I gave him a load of sedatives

<Sanosuke> Theynodded and it took abunch of them to lift him.

<Gabriel> Kuja rubs his hands together.. quite pleased with his aqquisitions for the evening

<Sanosuke> Two rare species... in the same city.

<Gabriel> And one lousy human... but he could still use him.... he was one of "them"

<Gabriel> Perhaps he would make good bait for finishing off Sephiroth.....

<Gabriel> Cloud is beginning to stir as well.... and Zelgadis can see they are in some sort of jungle temple.... well one thats made out of plaster anyway

<Gabriel> "You didnt touch me did you....???" Cloud says... getting to his hands and knees and crawling away from Zelgadis as far as he can

<Sanosuke> "No... of course not..." He covered himself quickly as he looked around. "We seem to be in some sort of containment..."

<Sanosuke> "Yah... whoever gassed us and put us in here must have taken our clothes..."

<Sanosuke> It was the cage across from theres... a large, buffed.. lizard like man was smashing his fists against the cage.

<Gabriel> And that bothered her.... she doubted she'd ever have a normal life with him lurking out there somewhere

<Gabriel> Lina sits down in a booth across from where the band is playing and sighs

<Sanosuke> But at least he gave her the power to do stuff...

<Sanosuke> The club was fairly packed that night.. the band playing some mix of jazz and rock that seemed to be a new form of music all its own.

<Gabriel> Lina orders herself a drink.. wishing for a moment she had friends.... but this is the best she can do... brood over a drink and try to forget the past

<Sanosuke> "Um.. excuse me..." Came avoice.

<Gabriel> Lina looks up "Yes?"

<Sanosuke> "Can I join you?" It was a tall woman with long blonde hair, wearing some sort of cerimonial headband.

<Gabriel> "Um... sure... " Lina says.. and scoots over

<Sanosuke> She sat.. and that's when Lina saw the woman had a tail... not a monkey like tail but a long golden thick tail...

<Gabriel> Lina raises an eyebrow ... but says nothing "You dont seem the type to be in a bar.." Lina says casually

<Sanosuke> "Do you know where he is?" She asked.. not even responding to Lina's question.

<Gabriel> "Where who is?"

<Sanosuke> "The demon as I like to call him.. I smell him on you..."

<Gabriel> Lina blinks "Eh? "

<Sanosuke> The woman grabbed her. "Do you know where he is?"

<Gabriel> "Whoa.. are you nuts or something Lady... I cant answer your question unless I know what youre talking about!!!"

<Sanosuke> "Xeeelllossss..." She hissed.

<Gabriel> ".... no I dont.. Ive been trying to forget I even knew he existed"

<Sanosuke> "Great... I'm sure he knows where Val is..."

<Gabriel> Lina looks puzzled

<Sanosuke> She sighed. "Oh.. how rude.. my name is Fillia.."

<Gabriel> "Lina... and I take it youve been screwed around with by Xellos too?"

<Sanosuke> Fillia hissed low in her throat. "A long time ago, yes... I was trying to be celibate..."

<Gabriel> "I didnt mean it quite so literally.."

<Sanosuke> "He is evil..."

<Gabriel> "Yes.. I know... he used me to get some sort of powers.."

<Sanosuke> "Power? Dear god... he hasn't..."

<Gabriel> Lina blinks "Um... you want to go somewhere where we can talk in private?"

<Sanosuke> "Yes please..." She got up. "I'll make us some tea."

<Gabriel> Lina nods "alright.. "

<Sanosuke> "I'll bring you to my home.. it's close by."

<Gabriel> "Lead on then" lina says.. picking up her purse

<Sanosuke> Fillia moved fairly quickly.. from the club and onto the streets.

<Gabriel> Lina has to jog a bit to keep up as she follows her

<Sanosuke> There was an appartment building that looked rather run down that fillia walked into.

<Gabriel> Lina follows her.... looking around a bit at the place.... and wondering why this woman lives here of all places

<Sanosuke> Fillia walked to a room at the end ofthe first floor hall and took out a key to open the door. "This is home.."

<Gabriel> Lina steps inside and looks around... its nice and tidy

<Sanosuke> "Tea will be ready in one minute.." She walked to the kitchen.

<Gabriel> Lina nods and looks about... noticing a few things that look like sacred relics

<Sanosuke> lots and lots of pots... many beauitfly designed.

<Sanosuke> Fillia was whistling as she poured the tea water.

<Sanosuke> "Tea's Ready!" She said in a musical tone.

<Gabriel> Lina looks up and heads over to where Filia is

<Sanosuke> She sat the tea cups down on the beautiful table and sat down. "Here you go Lina."

<Gabriel> Lina settles down with her cup as well and takes a sip "so... where do we start?"

<Sanosuke> "Do you have any idea where it is?"

<Gabriel> "Xellos.. no ... last time I saw him he was down in central america... I ran into him on vacation"

<Sanosuke> "Hmm.. that's the best place to start... is that where he...?"

<Gabriel> That was about a year ago... and yes... some sort of underground temple

<Gabriel> " "

<Sanosuke> "Dear God... he's still after immortality... not like a demon would need such a thing.."

<Gabriel> "Immortality?" lina says. looking concened

<Sanosuke> "Yes... he's always been interested in it..."

<Gabriel> "Man... well Im glad I didnt get that... not something that I'd want... but I did get stuck with some powers... and a lousy bond that drives me insane"

<Sanosuke> "That would explain the smell..."

<Sanosuke>

<Gabriel> "I have recurring dreams... and he practically haunts me... but ... I guess the powers make up for it... Im not afraid of anything anymore...."

<Sanosuke> "What sort of powers?"

<Gabriel> "I hardly even know really... but I can make some defensive and offensive spells.... but Im sure whatever he's got he knows how to use much better....'

<Sanosuke> "This could be a problem.... if he has power...."

<Gabriel> "Dont look at me... I cant hurt him... its part of the stupid bond" (you think the immortality would pass over the bond?)

<Sanosuke> "Great.. this is not good... I must find him and stop him once and for all..."

<Gabriel> "Good luck..."

<Sanosuke> "You're helping me find him.. if you're bonded to him you can do it."

<Gabriel> "well... I guess we can start where I Saw him last... that resort town I stayed in..."

<Sanosuke> She stood up, taking the dishes to their sink.

<Sanosuke> "Easy... don't worry..."

<Gabriel> "alright.... if you know what youre doing then..." Lina says..

<Sanosuke> "I do.. get packed and meet me at the airport tomorrow."

<Gabriel> Lina nods "alright... "

<Gabriel> ~What am I getting myself into now??~

<Sanosuke> "Can you get home from here?"

<Gabriel> "yes.. I'll be alright... thank you"

<Sanosuke> "Good.. pack what you need.. I'll see you tomorrow."

<Gabriel> "Right..." Lina says and waves... wondering what she's going to tell Rufus

<Sanosuke> Perhaps that she was going off to find the instructor

<Gabriel> That was a good idea... or maybe she should be honest with him... but then he wouldnt let her go would he

<Sanosuke> It was best to tell him that she was looking for her instructor... he would let her go then.

<Gabriel> Lina heads back to Rufus' place.. and slips in....

<Sanosuke> he was asleep in his room, half curled ontop of Serge

<Gabriel> Lina smiles... and shakes her head... they're so cute together... so she decides not to wake him

<Sanosuke> Filla was waiting at theair port with several bags.

<Gabriel> Lina is carrying only a duffel... not wanting this trip to last longer than it has to.... she's wearing her most comfortable outfit.... a somewhat provocative pair of leather pants.... a low cut top and combat boots

<Sanosuke> "Ah, miss Lina, there you are. I bought the tickets forour flight."

<Gabriel> Lina nods "You didnt book any hotels I hope... I dont plan on staying forever.... I wanna go and get away from him as quick as possible"

<Sanosuke> "We'll cross that bridge when we get there. Come on..it leaves in an hour...."

<Gabriel> "Fine fine... lets go..."

<Sanosuke> She smiled and hefted upher bags without a problem, carrying them with the same speed she had shownthe other day towards the x-ray machines.

<Gabriel> "Man I think Im getting into trouble again..." Lina mutters and hurries after Filia

<Sanosuke> "Trouble?" Fillia asked, after placing her stuff on the belt.

<Gabriel> "Xellos means trouble...."

<Sanosuke> "Well of course he is..." She stepped through the gate without so much as beep.

<Gabriel> Lina slides her bag onto the conveyor and steps through the scanner

<Sanosuke> Fillia was gathering upher bags as the scanner beeped at Lina.

<Gabriel> Lina grumbles and empties her pockets into the tray.... and steps back through

<Sanosuke> Another beeep.

<Gabriel> "Um.... " Lina says... and confusedly removes her necklace... since she's not wearing any other metals

<Sanosuke> Beep again which caused the security guard come over to her with his hand held scanner.

<Gabriel> Lina sighs And waits to find out what the hell is beeping

<Sanosuke> He moved the scanner upanddown her legs..then to her arms and waist and chest and frowned. "Maybe the damn thing's broken..." He muttered, looking at the large walkthrough scanner.

<Gabriel> Lina shrugs... having a small idea of what is beeping.... but not wanting to sound weird by saying "oh thats just my freak powers..."

<Sanosuke> The guard chuckled, clearly not beliving her. "Have a nice day miss."

<Gabriel> "Thanks.." Lina says.. picking up her bag and catching up with Filia

<Sanosuke> Fillia handed her the plane ticket. "We'll be sitting next to eachother..."

<Gabriel> "Good... we can talk"

<Sanosuke> "Correct...." She put her bags into the cart to give to the stewerdess to put under the plane.

<Gabriel> Lina keeps hers with her as a carryon... and sighs "We arent flying first are we?"

<Gabriel> "oh... thats how i flew last time... it was nice..." lina says with a shrug... no big deal

<Gabriel> "my savior of sorts.... I used to be a hooker... and Xellos ended up handing me over to Cloud... who gave me to Rufus..."

<Gabriel> "charitable" in giving me a job

<Gabriel> Lina nods "Alright... so we just ask... and run"

<Sanosuke> "And if it's possible.. kill... he should bekilled..."

<Gabriel> "I cant do that...'

<Gabriel> "good... then I can just kick back and enjoy myself while youre killing him right?"

<Sanosuke> "Yes you can..."

<Gabriel> "Good... only one question... is it going to hurt? I mean... Im bound to him somehow...."

<Sanosuke> "I.....I have no idea..." Fillia frowned.

<Gabriel> "i guess its a chance you have to take... "

<Sanosuke> "I'll dosome minor hurt to him and see if that hurts you."

<Gabriel> Lina leans back in her seat and puts on her sunglasses to darken it enough for sleep

<Sanosuke> Fillia sighed and stared out the window, watching the ground go by underneith.

<Gabriel> Lina tries to sleep without those damned dreams

<Sanosuke> She wound up with no dreams at all oddly enough and woke just as the plane touched down.

<Gabriel> Lina yawns and stretches... "Mph... good sleep"

<Sanosuke> "Long sleep..." Fillia yawned. "I got bored with no one totalk to."

<Gabriel> "Sorry... I just have trouble sleeping at times"

<Sanosuke> "It's ok.... I understand about that... do you feel him?"

<Gabriel> "Feel... ahh... I dont know.."

<Sanosuke> "You don't know? well... you didn't dream..."

<Gabriel> "Lets get off the plane and give me a chance to wake up a little more... then we can feel ... about.........."

<Sanosuke> "Ok..I'llgo buy you dinner someplace in town."

<Gabriel> "Hm... sounds like a good deal" Lina says... having a rather healthy appetite

<Sanosuke> Fillia didn't relize that as she gathered her things and checked into the hotel where they were serving brunch.

<Gabriel> "The place I stayed at last time was fancier..." Lina comments... "So when's dinner?"

<Sanosuke> "Right now." Fillia walked into the place.

<Gabriel> "Right... " Lina says.. ignoring the annoying tug she feels for the moment

<Sanosuke> She sat down at the table."Mmm...brunch buffet."

<Gabriel> "wonderful" Lina says.. rubbing her hands together

<Sanosuke> "I'm paying."

<Gabriel> "Great... " Lina says...

<Sanosuke> Fillia got up to get herself a small plate offood

<Gabriel> Lina loads up a plate... and then another... and settles down at the table to eat

<Sanosuke> Fillia's eyes buldged at the site. "How much are you eating?"

<Gabriel> "A lot... Im hungry"

<Sanosuke> "I see...that 'power' use up a lot of energy?"

<Gabriel> "yeah.. my metabolism's shot up big time.... even when I hardly use it"

<Sanosuke> "That must take up a lot in food bills."

<Gabriel> "Rufus is rich... and i try not to eat too much.. " Lina says with a sigh

<Sanosuke> "Oh...I see...he must be nice..."

<Gabriel> "He's very nice... too bad he's gay or I'd be set" Lina says with a small chuckle

<Sanosuke> Fillia blinked a momment then chuckled. "So I see..."

<Gabriel> "Yeah... I have a problem with men anyway"

<Gabriel> "I.. Im not really sure... they go on a few dates then they get panicky and leave..."

<Gabriel> Lina nods

<Sanosuke> "I can't help you there I'm afraid."

<Gabriel> "Its really upsetting.. and Im sure it has something to do with xellos.. or maybe Im just weidr

<Gabriel> "So it'll be good for me if you can get rid of him..."

<Gabriel> Lina nods "He's here anyway"

<Gabriel> "Yes... I think so...."

<Gabriel> "You think he would have left though.... "

<Sanosuke> The priestess followed, keeping to her side and having to slow every now and then.

<Gabriel> Lina leads her along somewhat familiar terrain... even though things do look... somehow different now

<Gabriel> "Eesh... I dont like this feeling" Lina mutters.... leading Filia in the direction the strange tug is coming from

<Gabriel> "Its not right... its more like he's leading us to him... not the other way around..."

<Sanosuke> Xellos walked out from where he had been standing. "Why Fillia dear..glad of you tojoin too..."

<Gabriel> "Im not part of this.. she's here to see you... I just showed her where you are..." Lina says... inching towards where she came from

<Sanosuke> Fillia growled, her tail flying up. "You bastard! You know where Val is don't you?"

<Sanosuke> Xellos smiled. "Of course I do."

<Gabriel> Lina frowns.... Filia looks like she's going to go postal on Xellos... and that isnt good

<Sanosuke> Fillia was about to too when there was a snap of a twig... they werenot alone.

<Gabriel> Lina stops in her attempt to leave the clearing... theres a gun pointed at her...

<Sanosuke> Fillia eeped. "You coward!! Too afraid toface us alone??"

<Gabriel> Lina backs up towards filia... ready to throw up defensive spells should things get bad

<Sanosuke> Xellos chuckled softly, watching Kuja's lil army step out around Lina and fillia.

<Sanosuke> But even they turned out notto be alone...

<Gabriel> "I suggest you leave these ladies alone and be on your way..." comes a dangerous sounding voice

<Sanosuke> (*gives Sano backis REALLYU big sword*)

<Sanosuke> "Yah..." Came another voice,"Unless you want us to get mad."

<Sanosuke> Xellos blinked and glanced at an opening tothe bushes... where two men stood.

<Gabriel> "Man ... I attract weirdos.." Lina mutters to herself.... but is glad for the distraction

<Sanosuke> Xellos shrugged. "Deal with the medlers..."

<Sanosuke> part ofthe 'army' turned toward the two men.

<Gabriel> Kenshin smirks... and draws his sword... drawing muffled laughs from the soldiers who see the blade is on it backwards

<Sanosuke> His compainion though reached behind the bush and grinned as he retrieved his HUGE sword-looking weapon.

<Gabriel> "Lets do it Sano" Kenshin says... launching himself at the men

<Sanosuke> "Right on!" The one calledSano launched himself as well, swining the giant blade with enough speedand force to send a whirlwind of sorts at the people who were mostly still standing there in shock of him.

<Gabriel> Lina blinks as the men cut a hole in the army... whiping out men without even really hurting them

<Sanosuke> The force of the wind caused them tobe blown back, striking the ground hard enough to knock them out...or at leasr stun them.

<Gabriel> "wow..." Lina breathes... these guys are fast and efficient.... sorta handy that they showed up

<Sanosuke> a few of the remaning men ran off... terrified,... and somewhere during the battle Xellos had slipped away.

<Gabriel> Kenshin smirks and sheathes his sword.... "I thought they'd be more challenging..."

<Sanosuke> Sano laughed.

<Sanosuke> "Yeah..and the odd guy just took one look and ran."

<Gabriel> "Well thats not exactly good.." Lina says.... "we had to talk to the "odd guy"

<Sanosuke> "Seems like he was after you."

<Gabriel> "Yes.. Im sure he was" Lina replies.... he'll be back anyway...

<Sanosuke> "Then you'd better come back with us where it's safe..."

<Sanosuke> (I think they're staying with Allen on the next island)

<Gabriel> Kenshin stretches and nods "You can tell us why they were after you when we get there...."

<Sanosuke> Fillia sighes."Fine fine..as long as whereever we are going has tea."

<Gabriel> "Come on then.... " Kenshin says... "before these guys get a chance to wake up and reorganize... we dont want to leave a fresh trail"

<Gabriel> Lina doesnt say anything about there not needing to be a trail.... she's sure Xellos can find her anywhere she tried to hide

<Sanosuke> There was a boat waiting just on the other side of the trees... a boat to another island.

<Gabriel> "What about our things... at the hotel?" Lina asks as she eyes the boat

<Sanosuke> "Don't worry about it...just get in."Sano told her...Fillia sat down.

<Gabriel> Lina gets in.... figuring if these guys are dangerous she can always do her levitation trick and get out safely

<Sanosuke> Sano picked up the oars. "Brace yourselves."

<Gabriel> "go for it sano" kenshin says... leaning back and relaxing with and odd seemingly boneless ease

<Gabriel> "we've got a friend on the other island... he's searching for someone... and you guys look as if youre in the same boat... so to speak"

<Sanosuke> "Well, Iwas searching for Xellos because he knows where my sonis.." Fillia told him.

<Gabriel> "Xellos... " Kenshin says thoughtfully "What makes you think he knows?"

<Sanosuke> "Because I know he does.... and he said he did..."

<Gabriel> Kenshin nods "There have been a lot of disappearances lately... I take it you are not human..."

<Sanosuke> Fillia sawher taill was showing and blushed. "

<Sanosuke> I'm... dragon..."

<Gabriel> Kenshin nods "Sorry... I didnt mean it in any disrespectful way..."

<Sanosuke> "I... I know a lot of non humans have been vanishing.. my son for one..."

<Gabriel> "Our friend is looking for the king of Fanelia... a small island... he disappeared about a month ago.... "

<Gabriel> "He and his brother are the last of their kind... from what I understand... but his brother has been missing for longer:

<Gabriel> Lina nods and goes over to the door into the rest of the house... unlocking it "come on then.... I want this over with ..."

<Gabriel> "Keep going straight... I got her" Lina says... hitching her legs around filia's tail and reaching her hand out

<Sanosuke> The girl grabbed hold of Lina's hand as Filia tried to straighten out.

<Gabriel> Lina pulls her up.... and drags her up onto Filia's shoulders

<Sanosuke> morning was breaking soof cours Kuja was in his office... and for some reason, the front guard hadn't radioed in yet.

<Gabriel> Kuja sighs... they can be so lazy at times... no bonuses for them this pay

<Sanosuke> of course...they were the only people that couldtell him if there was aproblem....

<Gabriel> Kuja grumbles and radios the front guard....

<Sanosuke> just static... as if no one was there to respond... either the fools had forgotten their radioes or... they couldn't answer for some reason

<Gabriel> Kuja radios another set of guards... to make them go check on the first ones

<Gabriel> Kuja leans back in his chair... feeling... strangely tense

<Sanosuke> "BOSS! BOSS! Someone's gone and killed em! INTRUDER ALERT! There's blood allover!"

<Gabriel> Kuja jumps up from his chair "Shit... "

<Sanosuke> "Trying to go somewhere..." Came a familiur voice fromthedoor... stern and quite cold.

<Gabriel> Kuja's breath catches in his throat... "Ah...."

<Sanosuke> Sephiroth, hislong silver hair curled down bellow his waist,stood there...his really longsword dripping with dark red blood... quite fresh.

<Gabriel> Kuja backs away... genuinely afraid for once in his life

<Sanosuke> "I belive you and me have a score to settle... Kuja..." He stepped into the room, his face set.

<Sanosuke> (does Kuja have an intercom system to his cages?)

<Gabriel> (I think he does)

<Gabriel> "now... now.. lets.. not be rash"

<Sanosuke> (cause maybe once he brings up Cloud he can turn it on so Cloud can 'hear' what Sephiroth has tosay about it without relizing it)

<Sanosuke> "And why not? You should be killed..."

<Gabriel> Kuja flips on the comm to Cloud's cage... figuring there might be a chance that the little freak can save his ass "to kill me would be a major mistake"

<Sanosuke> "And why would I care?"

<Sanosuke> Sephiroth's voice woke Zelgadis up. "Huh?"

<Gabriel> "b... because I.. perhaps we can make a deal?"

<Sanosuke> "Deal? I don't deal with skum like you.." Sephiroth hissed.

<Sanosuke> "Cloud..wake up.." Zelgadis said.

<Gabriel> "Dreaming..." Cloud mumbles "I hear sephy....

<Sanosuke> "You're NOT dreaming..I hear him too!" Zelgadis shook him gently.

<Gabriel> Cloud sits up... "Whats he doing here... come to kill me..?

<Gabriel> "a.. alright" Kuja says... "Thats a good deal..." He moves over to his controls and opens the Zelgadis' cage

<Sanosuke> Zelgadis stook up. "Come on Cloud.. let'sget thehell out of here..."

<Gabriel> Cloud looks at him sadly "Why leave?"
