<Sanosuke> "Take care Lina." Rufus smiled, waving at her in the airpoty.

<Gabriel> "I will.. and thank you for this... I ... really shouldnt be accepting it..."

<Sanosuke> "Nah.. you need a break and we could use a few days alone as well... so enjoy your time away."

<Gabriel> "Im sure.. you and Mr Serge will have a good time...."

<Sanosuke> Rufus blushed. "Just make sure to watch your back and get going, k?"

<Gabriel> Lina nods and hugs him suddenly... then runs for her boarding call

<Sanosuke> Rufus chuckles and left to go back home.

<Gabriel> Lina settles down on the plane... she's never flown first class.... heck she's never flown befor

<Sanosuke> It was all so exciting.. and Rufus was paying for it all.. he was so nice.

<Gabriel> Lina sighs... she feels really bad for Rufus... he never seems to have any fun himself... but... maybe Serge will fix that

<Sanosuke> Rufus had been cheered up some by Serge lately.

<Gabriel> She smiles as the plane lifts off... and on Serge's suggestion drinks some of his sleeping draught for the long trip

<Sanosuke> andfalling into a long saleep before theplane landed on a tropical island.

<Gabriel> The first thing lina notes when she steps off the plane is how HOT it is...

<Sanosuke> And everyone outside the airport were in beach clothing/.

<Gabriel> "wow... " Lina says... and finds a shuttle to her hotel

<Sanosuke> He was paying for that to.

<Gabriel> The hotel is gorgeous.... and her room massive ... making her wonder why one small girl needs all that room

<Sanosuke> Maybe because spacefelt good.

<Gabriel> She digs through her bag... dressing down into something lighter... and putting her swimsuit on underneath

<Sanosuke> It felt alot better... much cooler.

<Gabriel> "I guess I'll do some shopping... and...go for a swim she says to herself... and wanders out with her purse in tow:

<Sanosuke> Mostly money Rufus had given her.. of course, he told her she hadearned it by making his place more livible.

<Gabriel> She takes a walk through the little town thats next to the resort.. mostly touristy junk is being sold but there are some other neat things

<Sanosuke> There are street venders sellingstuff.. strange people offering panflits about the endof the world too.. just like the big city

<Gabriel> Lina stops and looks at some Jewelry.. carved stone pendants and what appear to be hand worked chains

<Sanosuke> "That interest you miss?" the native asked her.

<Gabriel> "Its pretty.." She says... fingering one of them... it feels nice in her hand.. "how much?"

<Sanosuke> The native thinks. "Ten American Dollars."

<Gabriel> Lina blinks at how cheap it is... and hands him the money

<Sanosuke> The native smiled as if this was a lot of money to him.

<Gabriel> Lina blinks and puts it around her neck... wandering along through the rest of the market.. stopping here and there to look at things

<Sanosuke> People kept trying to hand her pamflits.

<Gabriel> Lina sighs .. reading one... stuff that Xellos would say

<Sanosuke> That was a freaky thought/.

<Gabriel> Lina shudders slightly and fingers some fabric that would make a neat wallhanging

<Sanosuke> perhaps she should buy that too

<Gabriel> She makes the purchase... buying the same print in several colors

<Sanosuke> it was just as cheap...

<Gabriel> Lina smiles at her purchase... and asks if she can have it delivered to her hotel

<Sanosuke> They agree too.. happily.

<Gabriel> Lina sighs and keeps walking along.. looking for somplace to grab a bite to eat

<Sanosuke> There were so many small resturants.

<Gabriel> She picks one... and steps inside

<Sanosuke> It smelled so good.. freshly cooked food... well dressed waiters. They were polite and greated her.

<Gabriel> Lina smiles... its funny to her... for some reason ... how nice these people are

<Sanosuke> She was shown to a seat... perhaps they were nice because she was a tourust and they werethe ones that brought themoney to the island.

<Gabriel> She thinks about how people do lots of things for money... even... what she had to do

<Sanosuke> these people all seem to be cattering to the tourists.

<Gabriel> Thats the way the world goes... money ruins peoples lives... but also can make them... if youre lucky

<Sanosuke> The waiter came back to take her order rather quickly.

<Gabriel> Lina orders something that sounds interesting .. a local dish

<Sanosuke> he smiles at her, writes it down, and hurries off to the kitchen.

<Gabriel> Lina sighs and relaxes... feeling good ... really good...

<Sanosuke> They came back with it soon after.

<Gabriel> Lina plows into it... as if she suddenly realized exactly how good food is'

<Sanosuke> very good food... yummy food

<Gabriel> Lina orders some more... Mr Rufus did tell her she should eat more..

<Sanosuke> They were only happy tomake it for her.. bringing it back quickly.

<Gabriel> Lina eats that as well... and leans back in her chair... "this is so nice..."

<Sanosuke> the place was even air conditioned.

<Gabriel> Lina sits there for a while.. just thinking to herself... then decides its time for some sight seeing

<Sanosuke> a pretty town.. built for the tourists... people wandering about... all looking happy... even those handing the pamflits out.

<Gabriel> (Where should she smack into mr priest?)

<Sanosuke> (not sure... he'd be preaching to people outside the city i suppose...

<Gabriel> (Should she just wander... like go sightseeing)

<Gabriel> Lina pays for her meal and digs her camera out of her purse..

<Sanosuke> They thank her and then see her onher way.

<Gabriel> Lina wanders until she reaches the outskirts of the town.. the houses are more run down here

<Sanosuke> people all seemed to be elsewhere...

<Gabriel> Lina pokes around a little... being curious

<Sanosuke> There was a tent or something set up at the end of the path

<Gabriel> Lina moves up to it and peeks inside

<Sanosuke> Seemed tobe some sort of religious service...

<Gabriel> Lina watches through the flap.. not wanting to interrupt

<Sanosuke> The voice speaking to them smoothly sounded very familiur.

<Gabriel> Lina blinks.. trying to place it... and moves to see who the speaker is

<Sanosuke> a rather young looking man, surrounded by people as he talked... someone who was very charasmatic but to those who knew him wouldshutter about how cold he was at the sametime.

<Gabriel> "It cant be..." Lina squeaks..

<Sanosuke> He didn't seem to see her... she was too far back./

<Gabriel> Lina wonders if she should call Mr Rufus... he is looking for him... she should get back to the hotel...

<Sanosuke> before he saw her...

<Gabriel> Lina turns and heads back the way she came... hoping that he doesnt notice....

<Sanosuke> no one seemed to notice.

<Gabriel> Lina heads quickly back for the hotel... hoping she can get through to Rufus... he might be at work

<Gabriel> or somewhere else with Serge...

<Sanosuke> but she could leave a messege on his phone.

<Gabriel> Lina goes up to her room and Dials Rufus' number

<Sanosuke> the tone of phone busy sounded.

<Gabriel> "Ohh.. Rufus... get off the phone..."

<Sanosuke> just the luck.. he was busy

<Gabriel> "Ohh... well... I guess he isnt going anywhere..."

<Sanosuke> perhapsshe could try back tomorrow.

<Gabriel> "I guess I should just enjoy myself while Im here.... its not like he knows Im here"

<Sanosuke> she hoped.....

<Gabriel> Lina stretches out... tired from practically running back... and upset... deciding a nap and then going out for the evening would be best

<Sanosuke> Her window was open ajar to let in cool air.. but it also let in something else....

<Gabriel> Lina is curled up on top of the blankets... its too hot to sleep under them... and she likes the sound of the sea outside... so the window is open

<Sanosuke> There was movement in her room sometime after she had fallen asleep.

<Gabriel> Lina mmphs and curls up tighter

<Sanosuke> Then pressure..at the end of her bed.

<Gabriel> This wakes her up... and she sits up in the dim light of the room

<Sanosuke> There is someone sitting onthe other end of her bed.

<Gabriel> "A... ano... whose there?"

<Sanosuke> "You know..."

<Gabriel> "Oh.. I didnt t hink you saw... "

<Sanosuke> "Don't be stupid... I always see..."

<Gabriel> "I ... didnt tell anyone... "

<Sanosuke> "That I was here?I know.. but you want to..."

<Gabriel> She nods ... "The phone line was busy.... youre lucky.."

<Sanosuke> He reached out and touched thesideof her face."Am I?"

<Gabriel> She shrinks away from his touch... "They woulda come after you"

<Sanosuke> "Of course...

<Sanosuke> " He scooted up towards her.

<Gabriel> "B.. back off..."

<Sanosuke> Why?"

<Gabriel> "I.. you make me feel.. nervous..."

<Sanosuke> "Good."

<Gabriel> Lina fidgets a moment... even though she tries to be brave this man strikes terror into her

<Sanosuke> "Now Lina... here on vaction are we?"

<Gabriel> She nods

<Sanosuke> "Here to see the ruins?"

<Gabriel> "Yes.."

<Sanosuke> "Very good...How about assiting me with something then?"

<Gabriel> like...whay?"

<Gabriel> what?"

<Sanosuke> "Oh, You'll see." He rested his nose against her cheek breifly beforegetting off the bed.

<Gabriel> "Its.. not something illegal... is it?"

<Sanosuke> Hegrinned."Nothere."

<Gabriel> "a... alright then"

<Sanosuke> "Good girl."

<Gabriel> "When... do I have to help?"

<Sanosuke> "Tomorrow."

<Gabriel> She nods "okay... "

<Sanosuke> ":Good girl.." He left the window.

<Gabriel> Lina sighs... hoping she doesnt get into trouble...

<Sanosuke> Of course.. Xellos WAS trouble.

<Gabriel> But she'd already agreed to help him... he might do something rash if she backed out

<Sanosuke> Like kill her

<Gabriel> And thats not exactly how she wanted to end her vacation

<Sanosuke> Best to see what he wanted her to do

<Gabriel> Lina curls back up... not wanting to go out much anymore...

<Sanosuke> perhaps sleep would be best for now

<Gabriel> She rubs her cheek for a moment before getting up to close the window and turn on the AC... not wanting any more visitors

<Sanosuke> Jsut think what Xellos could do inher sleep...

<Gabriel> she shivers... not wanting to think.. just sleep... but those images return

<Gabriel> She shivers and curls up tighter

<Gabriel> Without the need for tipping into the return trip sleeping draught

<Sanosuke> Themorning sun broke through the window.. splaying across Lina's face.

<Gabriel> Lina Mmphs and rolls over... trying to ignore it

<Sanosuke> Morning... when Xellos wanted to see her.

<Gabriel> Lina sighs and gets up... peering around in mild paranoia before dressing

<Sanosuke> He didn't seem to be in the room. and if he was thatmeant he could become invisible or change forms...

<Gabriel> Lina shudders at that thought.. and wonders where she should wait for him... putting her hair up in a ponytail

<Sanosuke> maybe he excpeted her to meet him somewhere.. perhaps at his tent or even the ruins.,

<Gabriel> Lina grabs her purse and wanders out of the hotel... heading for his tent...

<Sanosuke> It wasn't too far from there.. just outsideof town.. andwas probablycooler then this tropical heat.

<Gabriel> Lina heads through the town... through the vendors that are just opening shop... and towards where she found Xellos' tent the day before

<Sanosuke> It wasstill there... a breeze gently rippling the flap.

<Gabriel> Lina lifts the flap and peeks inside

<Sanosuke> Xellos waswaiting forher.. smiling evilly... at the far end.

<Gabriel> "I.. Im here"

<Sanosuke> "Good.... are you ready to get going with me?"

<Gabriel> She nods "what are... we going to do?"

<Sanosuke> "Going to explore the ruins of course.." He grinned, crossing over to her.

<Gabriel> "Havent they been explored thoroughly enough?"

<Sanosuke> "Nope.. not the ruins UNDER them that I helped todiscover.. but only a few of us here know of it..."

<Gabriel> "Under?"

<Sanosuke> "Yes.. under.. you'll love it Lina..."

<Gabriel> "It does sound... interesting"

<Sanosuke> "Good.. let'sgo then." He patted her shoulder on his way past her out of the tent.

<Gabriel> Lina frowns.... and follows him

<Sanosuke> He started to walk, acticting all jolly..greating people as he passed them/

<Gabriel> Lina watches him.. wishing she understood what went on inside a twisted person like his' head

<Sanosuke> He acted so nice to these people.. and they bowed to him...

<Gabriel> He's just enslaving them... in a different way then he did me...

<Gabriel> she thinks to herself

<Sanosuke> He was truely evilthen... finding knew ways to getpeople to follow his every direction.. to control their lives.. their fates...

<Gabriel> Lina shivers... hoping he wont regain control over her... even though she is following him... like a fool

<Sanosuke> perhaps he would do awful things toher in the dark of those ancient ruins.

<Gabriel> Lina shivers... but... she supposes that was better than him just killing her

<Sanosuke> unless he had that in mind too.. but somehow that was doubtful unless he intended to use her as some sort ofsacrifice since he had pleantly ofoppertunities to kill her in the past.

<Gabriel> She doubted she'd be used as a sacrifice... you needed a virgin for one of those...

<Sanosuke> usally....

<Sanosuke> as Xellos walked afewothers joined them.. carrying supplies.

<Gabriel> Lina looks around.. its getting more jungly as they go... and she hopes there arent many bugs in there

<Sanosuke> there were slimey things on the leaves...her worst nightmare...

<Gabriel> "eew..." she squeaks... and tries to stay away from them as much as she can

<Sanosuke> "Somehting wrong lina?" Xellos asked, halting in his steps.

<Gabriel> "N.. no just theres crawly things everyhwere

<Sanosuke> Xellosplucked one off a leaf. "What..this?"

<Gabriel> "Eew..."

<Sanosuke> Xellos grinned and sniffed it.. then swallowed it.

<Gabriel> Lina nearly passes out

<Sanosuke> Xellos laughed. "You are soo funny."

<Gabriel> "You just ate...a "

<Sanosuke> "What? It tasted ok.. want one?"

<Gabriel> "n... no"

<Sanosuke> "Alright then... let's keep going." He went back to walking./

<Gabriel> Lina stands shivering for a moment before following along.. not at all wanting to be left behind

<Sanosuke> The men withthe gear stayed walking at the same rate even though they had heavey gear.

<Gabriel> Lina wonders how long the walk is going to be

<Sanosuke> "Just up ahead you'll be able to see the ruins.." Xellos toldher.

<Gabriel> Lina peers up ahead... and can see something... looming out of the jungle

<Sanosuke> "You'll LOOOVEEE this Lina."

<Gabriel> "Its hot... " Lina says panting a moment... and looking at the ruins

<Sanosuke> Xellos handed her a thing of water.

<Gabriel> Lina looks at it carefully and takes a drink "Im not used to this heat"

<Sanosuke> "Well, I've been here for a while so I

<Sanosuke> 'm used to it.."

<Gabriel> Lina nods "I bet its cooler inside though... right?"

<Sanosuke> "Oh.. itshouldbe.. cause it's all shaded under..."

<Gabriel> Lina nods

<Sanosuke> Xellos lead them out of the trees and into the open air.

<Gabriel> Lina looks at the massive temple before them... "wow... its impressive"

<Sanosuke> "Yes..isn't it? But it's what's underneith thatis... interesting..."

<Gabriel> "So... w ho built whats underneath?

<Sanosuke> "No one is for sure."

<Gabriel> "So... can we go see?"

<Sanosuke> "Yep..I see you're quite the eager one now."

<Gabriel> "Its... just hot out here..." she says sheepishly

<Sanosuke> "Go in then."

<Gabriel> "how do you get in?"

<Sanosuke> "The arch there you see."

<Gabriel> Lina walks over to the arch... and pokes her head in

<Sanosuke> It smelled old and musty but at least it was cooler then outside.

<Gabriel> Lina walks in a little deeper... then stops... wishing she had a light

<Sanosuke> The people with the packs must have lights.

<Gabriel> Lina waits for them to show up.. not wanting to go back into the heat

<Sanosuke> Xellos patted her shoulder.

<Gabriel> Lina jumps slightly

<Sanosuke> "It scary Lina?"

<Gabriel> "a little... its dark"

<Sanosuke> "Afraid ofthe dark?"

<Gabriel> "A little... "

<Sanosuke> Xellos laughed. "Anything you are not afraid of?"

<Gabriel> "Umm... "

<Gabriel> "Its your fault Im afraid of everything.."

<Sanosuke> Xellos laughed again. "I should do stuff to you then."

<Gabriel> "Umm..:

<Sanosuke> Xellos licked her cheek.

<Gabriel> "Ugh.. dont do that you ate that thing..."

<Sanosuke> "I should make you eat them to overcome your fear."

<Gabriel> "Eew... no..."

<Sanosuke> Xellos chuckled. "Then get moving."

<Gabriel> "Okay.. but ... light?"

<Sanosuke> Xellos grabbed one from his porters.

<Sanosuke> Xellos handed Lina the light he had taken from the porters.

<Gabriel> Lina clicks it on... relieved that he let her have one

<Sanosuke> "That better?"

<Gabriel> She nods

<Sanosuke> "Good... let's get going then..."

<Gabriel> "so... why did you need me to come along?" She asks as they start walking

<Sanosuke> "Oh... well... you're adventures... just find the hole in the floor over there and climb down the rope and we'll be on our way."

<Gabriel> "Hole in the floor.. " Lina squeaks... and looks about for it

<Sanosuke> "It's just in that corner Lina.." He gestured with one hand.

<Gabriel> Lina goes over to the hole and peers down "Why do I have to go down first?"

<Sanosuke> "Cause you do..."

<Gabriel> Lina sighs and starts down the rope.. hoping Xellos doesnt plan on filling up the hole with her in it

<Sanosuke> Xellos whistled as he leaned over the hole to watch her decend.

<Gabriel> Lina glares up at him... and hopes the bottom comes soon

<Sanosuke> It was very titled, not a very safe place to drop onto

<Sanosuke> (that reminds me.. how's your ankle feeling?)

<Gabriel> (Pretty good... a little stiff now)

<Gabriel> Lina slides a little as she puts her feet down... but manages to keep from falling

<Sanosuke> (ok *rubs your ankle*)

<Sanosuke> Xellos started to climbdown the rope after her.

<Gabriel> Lina shines the light around while waiting for him to get down

<Sanosuke> There was stuff all over the ground near her feet... moving stuff...

<Gabriel> "Xellos..." Lina squaks

<Sanosuke> "Yesssss Lina dear?"

<Gabriel> "The.. floor is moving..."

<Sanosuke> "That's to be expected."

<Gabriel> "Ah... ah... Im gonna..."

<Sanosuke> "Gonna what?"

<Gabriel> "Scream!!!!" She says... her voice raising in pitch

<Sanosuke> Xellos fell and landed in her arms, chuckling."What a set oflungs..."

<Gabriel> Lina shrieks and just about drops him

<Sanosuke> Xellos kissed her cheek and got down on the rocks above the moving parts of the floor.

<Sanosuke> (chin..notcheek)

<Gabriel> "Xellos... they... arent snakes... please tell me they arent snakes..." Lina says... frozen ... and not even bothering to whap him for the kiss

<Sanosuke> "Probably beetles of some sort.."

<Sanosuke> The porters started to climb down with them.. carefully lowering their stuff.

<Gabriel> Lina sighs "Thats a little better..."

<Sanosuke> "Might be flesh eating.." He whispered to her. "Oh Rospert!" He waved over one ofthe porters.

<Gabriel> "Flesh... eating..."

<Sanosuke> Xellos shrugged. "We shall see.." He turned to the man. "You go first."

<Gabriel> Lina just about clings to him

<Sanosuke> Xellos leaned against lina as the man started to walk into the mess of the floor

<Sanosuke> (what yah think? dangerous or not?)

<Gabriel> (Dont know.. but lina's clinging to him ... poor kid... you can decide if its dangerous)

<Sanosuke> (probably so.. the poor porter gets eaten alive... heh heh... and it can terrify Lina)

<Gabriel> (Okay... well you can do the gore.. I suck at it)

<Sanosuke> (just need Lina to scream as the guy is eaten alive)

<Sanosuke> (*is waiting for Lina here*)(

<Gabriel> Lina watches quietly.... and squeaks... because something isnt quite right

<Sanosuke> The man started to twich.. and halfway across the room stopped and started to scratch at himself.

<Gabriel> "Xellos... whats happening...?"

<Sanosuke> Xellos shrugs. "Just have to watch..."

<Sanosuke> The porter was itching himself some more... then grunted in pain.

<Gabriel> "Oh gods... theres blood... on..." Lina whimpers

<Sanosuke> Xellos patted her on the head, not the least bit disturbed when the man doubled over in pain and was suddenly covered by small black objects.

<Gabriel> "Xellos he... he's getting eaten..." Lina squeaks... hiding her face

<Sanosuke> "I noticed.. I figured that's what they were... flesh eating beetles... these are indeed catacombs.. where old bodies were burried...

<Sanosuke> "

<Gabriel> "Then why are we down here... we're going to get eaten!!"

<Sanosuke> "Nah... Just need some fire to burn em.":

<Gabriel> Lina is practically gagging.. and wondering what Xellos is going to feed her to

<Sanosuke> Xellos took something out of his pouch then removed a tourch from the dropped porter bundle..he lit the torch and tossedit where the porter was eaten.

<Gabriel> Lina watches... still glued to Xellos because she figures if she's going to get eaten she might as well keep him from getting away

<Sanosuke> Thebeetles screamed asthey caught fire quickly.

<Gabriel> "Ohh.. thats gross..." Lina moans

<Sanosuke> "Lina.. be a dear and pick up what's left of our gear please."

<Gabriel> "Im not going out there... you go first"

<Sanosuke> "Surely Lina..." The beetles had mostly died or scattered... leaving an open path.

<Gabriel> Lina gingerly picks up the gear... flicking charred beatles off of it

<Sanosuke> Xellos whistled as he headed down the path, kicking the fire-burned bones of the dead porter aside.

<Gabriel> Lina shoulders the gear and sticks close to Xellos

<Sanosuke> Pastthe chamber they had been in was a room with 3 other passageways before them to choose.

<Gabriel> "Which one Xellos?"

<Sanosuke> "That I don't know...

<Sanosuke> " He grinned slightly. "You decide Lina my dear."

<Gabriel> "me.. but..."

<Sanosuke> "But what? go..."

<Gabriel> Lina timidly picks a hallway... and moves down it

<Sanosuke> Xellos pointed totheporters to drop their gear and try the other two passages as he followed Lina.

<Gabriel> Lina is a tad relieved that Xellos is with her.. but not much.. she's still scared of him

<Sanosuke> "I wonder how many booby traps are in these halls.." Xellos mused.

<Gabriel> "I dont know... but.. Im guessing thats why Im here"

<Sanosuke> "What sorts of traps do you imagine are about?"

<Gabriel> "I dont know... I dont know anything about ancient ruins" She says

<Sanosuke> "Don't you? Mmm....I bet you're lying.. you're imagining all sorts of horrors but don't want to tell me."

<Gabriel> "I dont like to think.. about how many things could... "

<Sanosuke> "Could kill you?"

<Gabriel> She nods "Im not even worried about you killing me anymore..."

<Sanosuke> "Oh really?"

<Sanosuke> There was a sudden scream from the passage next to them.

<Gabriel> Lina jumps and clings to Xellos "what was... that?"

<Sanosuke> "Probably one of the others walkinginto a trap."

<Gabriel> "Oh gods... you brought me with you so I could die and you're just going to step over my dead body and claim some lost treasure... arent you?" Lina says in a panic

<Sanosuke> "Sore Wa Himitsu Desu" he grinned and urged her onb.

<Gabriel> Lina shivers and keeps moving... knowing she's probably right

<Sanosuke> Xellos hummed softly as he followed her.

<Gabriel> "How much longer do we have to walk do you think?" she asks.. feeling like the passage just wont end

<Sanosuke> "I'm not sure.. just stay on alert for hidden danger..."

<Gabriel> She nods and keeps moving... trying not to touch the walls and watching where she steps

<Sanosuke> Xellos kept humming like he didn'thave a care in the world as he followed her... light starting to be seen at the other end of the tunnel.

<Gabriel> "Xellos... whats that?" Lina asks

<Sanosuke> "Probably where we want to be my dear."

<Gabriel> Lina heads for the light.... since the long creepy tunnel has been long enough

<Sanosuke> She came apon aroom lit by two massive torches in the center of what looked like an alter... oddly, no one seemed to hgave beenin this room for a verylong time so why were the torches still burning steadly?

<Gabriel> "Xellos... this is creepy"

<Sanosuke> Xellos shruged. "Is to be expected." He peered around the room which had much gold and jewls but aranged on items in a cerimonal type arrangment.

<Sanosuke> (jewled statues and collums so to speak)

<Gabriel> "So... what do we do now?"

<Sanosuke> "Now? Now we search..."

<Gabriel> "For what?"

<Sanosuke> "Oh.. we'll see." He looked around, examining the artifacts with his eyes.

<Gabriel> Lina moves along with him.. afraid to touch anything

<Sanosuke> He then walked tothe alter.

<Gabriel> Lina examines the altar... it seems to be made of solid gold

<Sanosuke> It's beautiful.. but stained up top..with lookslike ancient blood.

<Gabriel> "Sacrificial altar..." Lina says... stepping away from it

<Sanosuke> "Interesting thing to have hidden under an old temple wouldn't you say?"

<Gabriel> "Yes... I guess..."

<Sanosuke> Xellos started to examine it, thoughtfully.

<Gabriel> Lina shivers... imagining what happened on that altar..

<Sanosuke> "Something the mater Lina?"

<Gabriel> "Its too creepy... are we done here yet?"

<Sanosuke> "Nope.. not yet Lina..."

<Sanosuke> He glanced around the alter, as if searching for something.

<Gabriel> Lina moves back over to it and runs a finger over its surface... its strangely warm.... but probably from the torches

<Sanosuke> Xellos stepped away from it then walked around behind the torches... still poking around.

<Gabriel> Lina stays where she is ... since Xellos moved away too quickly for her to follow and she's afraid o move

<Sanosuke> He went out the other passage.. the one that was across and behind the alter from the one they cameout of.

<Gabriel> "Xellos?" Lina squeaks... and follows after him

<Sanosuke> "Stay there Lina..." He calledback./

<Gabriel> Lina stops.. and waits... figuring this is the part where she's going to die

<Sanosuke> Xellos came back soon after, humming that odd little tune again/.

<Gabriel> "Did you find what you were looking for?"

<Sanosuke> "Yep, I did."

<Gabriel> "Should I ask?"

<Sanosuke> "You can if you want to."

<Gabriel> "Well... then... what... is it?"

<Sanosuke> He held up what looked like a jewled dagger/.

<Gabriel> "So.. what is that for?"

<Sanosuke> "Just a little blood letting."

<Gabriel> "Blood... letting?"

<Sanosuke> Xellos nodded, walking over to the alter.

<Gabriel> Lina stays where she was standing... hoping he didnt mean her blood

<Sanosuke> But he was waving her over.

<Gabriel> Lina steps over ... wishing she had chosen another vacation spot

<Sanosuke> "Give me your hand if you please..."

<Gabriel> Lina looks at him for a moment... then gives him her hand

<Sanosuke> He pulled it down till it was resting flat on the alter, his left hand covering it.

<Gabriel> "Are you gonna... cut... me?" She asks quietly

<Sanosuke> "Just brace yourself..." He liftedthe dagger up.

<Gabriel> Lina closes her eyes... and prays that this isnt really happening

<Sanosuke> He brought the dagger down, straight through both their hands.. pinning them to the alter.

<Gabriel> Lina cries out in pain... but doenst try to move her hand... knowing that would only make it worse

<Sanosuke> Xellos closed hiseyes and started chanting something in a tongue that was unknown the Lina.

<Gabriel> Lina shivers... and tries to stay quiet... her hand throbbing intensely

<Sanosuke> Their blood poured and mingled onto the alter... collecting in the grooves on either side and running down somewhere.

<Gabriel> Lina watches it... wondering whats going on.... only somewhat glad she's not dead

<Sanosuke> Something under them started toshake as Xellos chanted... and the torches flickered..the light changing from mostly orange togreen

<Gabriel> "whats going on now... " Lina whimpers softly

<Sanosuke> Xellos said nothing to her.. he just kept chanting as the floor under them shook more.. as if something was moving down there.,

<Gabriel> Lina is confused.. her hand hurts.. she's afraid she's going to die and feels like she's going to pass out... this isnt good

<Sanosuke> The alter itself began to glow... feeling very warm but not to hot.. as if something was happening...

<Gabriel> Lina stares at the altar... suddenly wishing her hand wasnt pinned to it

<Sanosuke> Xellos stoppedchanting and opened his eyes slowly... the light fromthe alter started to fill Lina's hand.. then up her arm.

<Gabriel> "Wh.. whats happening?"

<Sanosuke> "Shhh child... it's a gift..." He took out the knife...blood oozing from his hand.. but the wound in Lina'sinstantly closed as the light filled her... and it felt powerful.

<Gabriel> "a.. what...?" she says... confused... and staring at her hand

<Sanosuke> Power coursed through her..power she could use....

<Gabriel> "Xellos?"

<Sanosuke> "Yes?" The blood was still dripping from his hand...some splattering to the floor where it oddly sank bellow.

<Gabriel> "What... is this... I feel...'

<Sanosuke> "Power dear Lina..."

<Gabriel> "power?" She asks... seeming confused

<Sanosuke> He chuckled then raised his arms as the floor shook again..that's when the statues moved... not their bases... but they TURNED... to LOOK at them.

<Gabriel> Lina takes a step back... frightened... "What now?"

<Sanosuke> The statues... many of which looked like strange animals or people animal things... stood up with their many jewls and weapons.

<Gabriel> "Oh god... we're dead..."

<Sanosuke> Xellos laughed. "Not at all dear Lina..." He turned to the statues and raised his bleeding hand... they stooped moving.

<Gabriel> "Could you please... explain this to me..?"

<Sanosuke> "

<Sanosuke> Maybe later...for now." He turned to her and grinned suddenly.

<Gabriel> "But... what now?"

<Sanosuke> He came forward and kissed her suddenly.

<Gabriel> Lina blinks... and steps back

<Sanosuke> the onlything behind her was the alter, which he leaned her into with his hands planted on either side of her.

<Gabriel> "Wh... what are you doing?

<Sanosuke> "What's it looked like..." He kissed her again, this time on the neck.

<Gabriel> "Stop.. I ... '

<Sanosuke> "Hush.." He placed one hand on her blouse.

<Gabriel> "But... "

<Sanosuke> (night)

<Sanosuke> He kissed her lips.

<Sanosuke> He kissed her lips./

<Gabriel> Lina whimpers... not sure what to do... this isnt exactly the place or time for this

<Sanosuke> But he seems to think it is... kissing Lina's lips, one hand moving up to her face.

<Gabriel> "Xellos... I dont want... this" She says quietly.. knowing she isnt going to convince him otherwise though

<Sanosuke> "Heh heh... Lina dear... what is wrong?"

<Gabriel> "I... youre just trying to enslave me again..."

<Sanosuke> "You are already bound to me though...."

<Gabriel> "Wh... what do you mean... the... blood?"

<Sanosuke> "Yes... "

<Gabriel> Lina looks at him... wondering what type of binding there is...

<Sanosuke> "You can never hurt me no matter how much you want to any more."

<Gabriel> "like I could have anyway.."

<Sanosuke> "Very good... but nowyou have power..."

<Gabriel> "What kind of power?"

<Sanosuke> "Try to flex your new muscles."

<Gabriel> "Muscles?"

<Sanosuke> "Figurtivly speaking.."

<Gabriel> "I dont get it"

<Sanosuke> "Your power."

<Gabriel> Lina frowns "But how?"

<Sanosuke> "That's why I said you had to flex..." He kissed her some more.

<Gabriel> "Do we have to do this here? Its ... uncomfortable"

<Sanosuke> "It's a great place....the alter... it's a way to seal the power."

<Gabriel> Lina bows her head.. figuring theres no escaping this... at least he's good lookign

<Sanosuke> And didn't taste bad either... his lips traveling over hers.

<Gabriel> Lina squirms a little... still not completely comfortable with the idea... but offers little other resistance

<Sanosuke> Xellos put his hand down into her pants.. trying to get them off

<Gabriel> Lina shivers slightly.. but moves her hands down to assist him

<Sanosuke> He kissed her neck softly. "It isn't that bad is it Lina?"

<Gabriel> "No... its not..." She replies... relaxing now..

<Sanosuke> "Good..." Xellos pulled at her shirt next.

<Gabriel> "How bout yours" Lina says... tugging at his clothing

<Sanosuke> "Go ahead.. take it off."

<Gabriel> Lina fumbles with his shirt.. smirking because he insists he was a priest at one time

<Sanosuke> And he says he's still a priest even... his skin nice and smooth...

<Gabriel> Lina runs her hands over the exposed flesh... he's not bad at all... not this way anyway... but he still is a loon

<Sanosuke> He had some sort of tattoo on his abdoman...and it was very smooth there.

<Gabriel> Lina runs her hand over it... but its too dim to see what it might be

<Sanosuke> He slid out of his pants, sliding all of her up onto the alter.

<Gabriel> Lina winces as she remembers there was dried blood and thier own on the altar

<Sanosuke> They were now fully naked.. and the statues seemed to be watching them.

<Gabriel> Lina tries to ignore the statues ... just wanting to get over with what her body has begun to beg for

<Sanosuke> Xellos seemed to relize that.. tracing his fingers around her folds.

<Gabriel> "you like... tormenting.. dont you?" Lina asks... squirming as her heart rate increases

<Sanosuke> "Mmm... it makes the pleasures even better if you're forced to wait..."

<Gabriel> "I never really got a chance to wait before... most of em just wanted... quick... so they wouldnt have to pay much"

<Sanosuke> "Mmm... well, this is much better my dear." He moved his fingers.

<Gabriel> Lina wriggles and lets out a soft moan

<Sanosuke> He thrusted into her without warning.

<Gabriel> Lina cries out and tries to squirm away.. still not used to that no matter how many jerks have done that
