Rufus Shinra looks out the window of his office.... sighing softly

Hana plays with some toys that are lying on the office floor

Rufus Shinra looks back at his daughter and smiles

Rufus Shinra says, "How are you feeling Hana?"

Rufus Shinra goes over to her

Hana says, "why you so sad?"

Rufus Shinra says, "just... thinking of your father... he died 5 years ago this day"

Rufus Shinra sits down on the floor next to her

Hana says, "What happen ?"

Rufus Shinra says, "the town he was sent on a mission to was destroyed... everyone died"

Hana frowns and offers her father one of her toys

Rufus Shinra takes the toy and smiles softly at her

Rufus Shinra says, "you're all I have... and no one is going to take you away"

Hana says, "why would anyone... wanna take me away?"

Rufus Shinra says, "You remember what I told you my child? If they knew you were different they might want to put us somewhere we wouldn't like"

Rufus Shinra reaches out and strokes her hair

Rufus Shinra sets her back down as he stands up

Rufus Shinra nods and calls up the guy who was annoying the hell out of everyone in the office earlier that day

Hana hugs Rufus' leg and waits for dinner to arrive

Rufus Shinra smiles at his daughter. hears a knock at the door and grins, pulling his wings around his chest

Rufus Shinra says, "Come on in and shut the door"

Rufus Shinra watches the man walk in as he picks up his daughter

Hana smiles sweetly

Rufus Shinra says, "Remember what I taught you my child"

Rufus Shinra grabs the man quite suddenly and clamps a hand over his mouth to keep him from screaming

Hana latches onto the man's neck with her teeth and starts feeding

Rufus Shinra takes the mans wrist and bites into it, drinking from him as well

Hana finishes her meal and pulls away

Rufus Shinra smiles at his daughter as he drops the limp man's wrist

Rufus Shinra says, "good meal?"

Rufus Shinra takes her into his arms as he lets the body drop

Hana says, "very good… Why we have to kill?"

Rufus Shinra says, "it's ok Hana... once you can feed on your own you don't have to.. but for now we do"

Hana nods. swishes her tail quietly... getting sleepy from her full stomach

Rufus Shinra kisses his daughter's forehead and sits back down on the floor

Cloud Strife stalks through the building

Rufus Shinra falls asleep with his daughter

Cloud Strife grabs the handle to the door and rattles it

Rufus Shinra sets Hana down on the couch and walks to the door, making sure the dead body can't be seen as he peaks his head out

Hana wakes up and starts crying

Hana peers at the new person who has appeared in her life curiously.... over her fear but still unsure

Cloud Strife buries himself in Rufus deeply... and releases.... a few stray tears dripping onto Rufus' abdomen
