Zack walks along... continually looking behind him to make sure Sephiroth isn't following him. Catches the scent of blood on the wind and goes to investigate

Reno groans softly in pain... unable to make much more noise...

Zack says, "holy hairballs... its that guy I helped"

Zack starts pulling the stakes out of Reno

Zack says, "Yow... you alive?"

Reno opens an eye

Reno says, "*softly* am I?"

Zack says, "Yeah... you're talking"

Zack pulls out the last stake

Zack says, "You gotta be kindred... or just damned impervious to pain"

Reno gasps in pain... bleeding heavily

Reno says, "I'm not... impervious..."

Reno moves his arms slowly and touches one finger to his face

Reno says, "I'll live if I'm not melting..."

Zack says, "You need blood?"

Zack proffers his wrist

Reno tries to stand but collapses

Reno says, "I also need clothing..."

Reno looks at Zack's wrist

Reno bites down on his wrist... drinking down the free-flowing blood. Lets go once he's drunken to danger level

Reno closes his eyes and focuses his body to healing the wounds on his feet. Stands up once done

Reno says, "come on Zack... let's get out of here"

Zack drags himself to his feet

Reno snatches Zack's shirt and wraps it around his waist

Zack says, "Hey... Can I lean on you man? I feel tipsy"

Reno says, "I got caught by some ShinRa people... and I thought you got hurt?"

Reno says, "how did you get away from Sephiroth?"

Zack says, "I accidentally cast a disenchant on him... and it appears he was spell cast. He didn't remember where or who he was"

Reno says, "he was?"

Zack says, "well he did know who... but didn't know how he got there"

Reno says, "that does explain some things"

Zack leans heavily on Reno

Reno leads Zack off slowly... heading for the woods

Reno says, "it's a good thing you found me..."

Zack says, "Wonder if I'd be steadier with 4 legs..."

Reno says, "you might be and then I can wear your pants"

Zack shifts down to his wolf form... grimacing at his shoulder wound

Reno takes Zack's pants and puts them on

Zack shakes his head

Reno says, "poor Zack.... Come on"

Reno heads into the woods... taking odd twists and turns

Zack whines slightly and follows Reno

Reno says, "I sure hope Cloud's ok"

Reno gets tired after walking and slumps down against a tree

Zack flops down in Reno's lap

Reno can barley move his hands... and focuses what little power he has to heal them... but can't do anything about the wound through his abdomen

Zack shifts back to his human form and grins up at Reno

Zack says, "Sorry... but this is the only way I can talk"

Reno looks down at Zack and strokes his hair

Zack says, "You doing okay?"

Reno says, "I'm hurting... but I'll live"

Reno continues to stroke Zack's hair

Zack says, "How come you're doing that?"

Zack sighs

Reno says, "and.. your hair is soft"

Zack says, "yeah I did... and that prince too... think Im gonna get any thanks for saving his ass? Like maybe being allowed to go back home...."

Reno says, "well... I'll be in trouble if his parents find out WHY we had to save him... Zack... what did you do any way?"

Zack says, "I... sorta staged a mini revolt ... "

Reno says, "and they didn't kill you?"

Zack says, "Not that they have an iron hand or anything... but they wanted to have all shifters marked..."

Zack says, "Naw... they told me either get branded or be shipped off"

Zack says, "They say its so that hunters don't bump off sentient beings, But... with the brand they'd purposely try ta kill you... My kind isn't exactly liked... I'm sure you know about people not liking ya"

Reno says, "great reason... *roles his eyes* nor mine when it comes to humans..."

Zack says, "I mean.. I didn't wanna get branded... It was like they were singling us out. Sure they meant well.. but we knew different"

Reno says, "yeah... I wouldn't want that either"

Reno nods

Zack says, "They blame anyone that's not human... And I know the people who rule Nibelheim aren't human..."

Reno leans his head back... still stroking Zack's hair

Zack says, "They smell different"

Reno says, "Cloud says he doesn't want to go back.... but says he has to"

Zack says, "I wanna go back.. I hate this dirty place"

Reno says, "well... as soon as I can travel again we are going to hook up with the rebels"

Reno strokes Zack's hair with an air of fondness

Zack says, "Morning. I am damned hungry... but I couldn't hunt to save my sorry ass"

Reno says, "well... what do you want to eat?"

Zack says, "Anything"

Reno says, "well... there are berries there"

Zack says, "Okay.... It's not meat"

Zack gets off of Reno and picks a few berries

Reno sits up and leans against the tree

Zack says, "my luck their poisonous"

Reno says, "are they?"

Zack eats the berries he's holding

Zack says, "Dunno. we'll find out within.... hmm 15 minutes"

Zack practically cleans off the bush
