Zack sighs... knowing that Sephiroth never ate or slept during the time he was reading or what ever. finds Cloud looking somewhat dazed

Zack says, "What have you been up to?"

Cloud Strife says, "Oh.... well....."

Zack says, "Heh.. is that a hickey cloud?"

Cloud Strife blushes

Zack says, "Little cutie.... you got a girl ... proud of ya!"

Cloud Strife scuffs his foot embarasedly

Tifa Lockheart walks out of her house. smiles and waves to Cloud as she heads off to her Martial Arts lesson

Cloud Strife waves to Tifa

Tifa Lockheart blows his a kiss as she disappears from view

Zack says, "Alright Strife.... C'mon"

Zack drags Cloud into the mansion and stations him at the top of the basement stairs.... then goes down to check on Sephiroth

Sephiroth is chuckling in the back of the library

Zack walks up to Sephiroth

Sephiroth looks slowly up from the desk... his face split by a manic grin

Zack says, "Seph?"

Sephiroth says, "Traitor..."

Zack says, "Wha?"

Sephiroth says, "You are a traitor"

sephiroth giggles insanely to himself as he stands up

Zack says, "Sephiroth? What are you talking about?"

sephiroth says, "oh... you don't know? You ignorant Traitor... shall I tell you?"

Zack blinks

Zack says, "Seph... C'mon... you need food and rest "

Sephiroth says, "Jenova was destined to be the ruler of this world... because of her superior intelligence and magic..."

Zack says, "Whoa whoa... Seph?"

Sephiroth says, "but your ancestors... those primitive creatures who feared her... managed to band together and lock her away. there... she was forced to sleep for 2 thousand years... until some ShinRa fools dug her up... Not knowing what she was they decided to use her for experiments... and as a result they created a son..."

Cloud Strife waits patiently at the top of the stairs

Zack says, "I think that whack on your head did something to ya"

sephiroth says, "The truth is in all these books..."

sephiroth picks up his Masamune

sephiroth says, "Out of my way... I'm going to see my mother now..."

sephiroth brushes by Zack

Zack says, "Wait!! What are you doing?"

sephiroth takes the bandage off his head as he goes... dropping it on the floor. walks up the stares

Cloud Strife twiddles his thumbs

sephiroth bursts out of the stairway... seeing Cloud

Cloud Strife says, "Eck"

Sephiroth picks up Cloud by the back of his uniform

Cloud Strife says, "Wha?"

Sephiroth says, "well well... another traitor in my way..."

Cloud Strife says, "What? Put me down!!"

Sephiroth hurls Cloud through the window and sends him crashing out in front of his house... away from the Mansion. walks out of the Mansion, laughing insanely

Zack runs up the stairs just in time to see Cloud get chucked out the window. is stunned as Sephiroth just walks away

sephiroth castes fire 3 at the town. sees some of the towns people come at him. cuts them down with his Masamune... tossing their bodies aside as if they are nothing

Zack runs out of the mansion and sees the town in flames

sephiroth walks out past the Mansion... heading for the reactor

Zack runs over to Cloud and checks on the kid

Zack says, "You okay?"

Cloud Strife says, "uhh.... Sephiroth...."

Zack shakes his head and heads after Sephiroth....

Cloud Strife sits up and shakes his head

sephiroth heads into the reactor. spots Tifa's father trying to stop him. impales the guy on the Masamune before dropping it and heading into the pod room

Tifa Lockheart runs up the slope.. and into the reactor... just ahead of Zack

sephiroth stands in the pod room... looking around

Zack follows Tifa in .. not wanting anyone else to get hurt

Tifa Lockheart sees her father's body and kneels by it

Tifa Lockheart says, "papa? Did Sephiroth do this too you?"

Tifa Lockheart takes the hilt of the Masamune and draws it out of his body

Tifa Lockheart says, "Sephiroth .. Mako reactors... ShinRa..... I hate them all!!"

Tifa Lockheart gets up, holding the Masamune.. and heads into the pod room

sephiroth turns around as Tifa approaches him

Tifa Lockheart tries to attack Sephiroth with his own blade

sephiroth tussles with her a second, grabbing the Masamune back and using it to slice her

Tifa Lockheart is knocked backward down the steps, and onto the floor at Zack's feet

Zack looks at Tifa then runs up the stairs after sephiroth

sephiroth says, "Mother... I'm here... let me in"

Cloud Strife wanders into the Reactor... still somewhat dazed

sephiroth watches as the door to the core opens for him. walks in. looks up at Jenova

Tifa Lockheart lays bleeding on the floor of the pod room

Cloud Strife walks in and sees Tifa

Tifa Lockheart passes out

sephiroth says, "Mother... I have come.... let's take back the world together"

Cloud Strife checks Tifa

sephiroth raises his arms out wide to her

Zack says, "Sephiroth! stop this!"

sephiroth turns around

Cloud Strife picks Tifa up and carries her to one side

sephiroth says, "why... the traitor has come... You are the ones who must be stopped"

sephiroth turns back around to look at Jenova

Zack draws his sword

sephiroth says, "It is your kind that have done this to her..."

sephiroth reaches out for the metal

sephiroth says, "don't worry mother... now I am here... with you... together we will be strong... and we will stop those ignorant traitors... Those traitors who are stealing the planet from mother!"

sephiroth grabs the metal bit blocking the tube and wrenches it free. looks right at the real Jenova

Cloud Strife tends to Tifa's wound as best he can

Zack holds his sword at ready

Zack says, "Sephiroth... you just burnt down a town and badly hurt one of our troopers..."

sephiroth seems to be sobbing...

sephiroth moves his head up a little

sephiroth says, "Zack..."

sephiroth turns around. looks down at Zack

sephiroth says, "......."

Zack looks at Sephiroth

sephiroth starts to laugh, his shoulders shaking as if her was sobbing

Zack says, "Sephiroth... calm down please!"

sephiroth grins wickedly

sephiroth says, "why?"

Zack says, "Because... please? you aren't making sense"

sephiroth chuckles again

sephiroth says, "why should it make sense to you? It makes sense to me... that's all that matters. I know what I must do now..."

Zack says, "Because Sephiroth I'm your friend... remember?"

sephiroth says, "You are an ignorant traitor..."

Zack says, "Ignorant traitor? I took care of you and lugged your sorry ass out of this reactor the first time you passed out"

sephiroth says, "You're destroying the planet... stealing it from its rightful owner...."

Zack says, "What the hell are you talking about?"

Cloud Strife prays that Tifa will be all right.

sephiroth says, "I told you.. mother was supposed to rule the planet... but your ancestors took it away from her... and now you are destroying it... and keeping her imprisoned still.. to be experimented on"

sephiroth says, "how dare you traitors do that to mother!"

Cloud Strife says, "What? I have nothing to do with this"

sephiroth says, "You are ShinRa.... you keep her imprisoned like this..."

sephiroth turns back to the container

sephiroth says, "it's alright mother... I'm here to save you..."

sephiroth cocks his fist and smashes through the container... spilling it's liquid everywhere. grabs the mettle fixture of Jenova's head and yanks it off

Zack blinks

sephiroth says, "no more oppression mother... it is time to rise up and claim what is yours"

sephiroth starts to laugh again

Zack shakes his head and rushes at sephiroth... swinging his sword

sephiroth turns back and swings his Masamune up at Zack.. cutting into his flesh and spilling his blood. picks Zack up and hurls him out of the core... sending him crashing into the pods by Cloud

Cloud Strife blinks. looks up at the doorway that Zack came flying out of

sephiroth looks back at his mother... still holding the metal head

Zack groans

sephiroth says, "yes mother.... I understand..."

Cloud Strife pats Tifa on the head and stands

sephiroth says, "I will do what you say mother... I will take back the planet... And I will rule it as the chosen one... just as you wish..."

sephiroth is lost in thought

Cloud Strife picks up Zack's sword. runs up the stairs and into the core and swings it at Sephiroth... somewhat weakly... but still manages to damage him

sephiroth blinks in surprise as he feels the blade cut through him. falls to his knees and looks down at Cloud

sephiroth says, "wha?"

Cloud Strife says, "That's for hurting Tifa.. and for my town"

Cloud Strife swings the blade again cutting deeply

Cloud Strife says, "And that's for my mom... an Tifa's dad"

sephiroth says, "arrrrgggg"

sephiroth closes his eyes, collapsing to the ground... feeling his blood spill onto the floor... mixing with the liquid from Jenova's container

Cloud Strife looks down at Sephiroth... his eyes blazing. jabs him again

Cloud Strife says, "That's for Zack"

Sephiroth sprawls out on his stomach... blood surrounding him. breathes weakly.. still holding fast to the metal head of Jenova

Cloud Strife wonders if he should kill him outright. shakes his head

Cloud Strife says, "No...."

sephiroth says, "......."

Cloud Strife walks out of the core and goes to check on Zack. .wondering if he survived

sephiroth weakly opens his eyes... looking at the blood around him. hears his mother's voice in his head... telling him he will be all right and smiles a little

sephiroth says, "mother... thank you... I will get them for you..."

Cloud Strife tries to pull Zack off of the pod he is lying on

sephiroth closes his eyes, feeling his mother's presence all around him

Cloud Strife says, "Damn your heavy"

sephiroth stands up, the blood no longer flowing

Cloud Strife tugs on Zack a little more

sephiroth says, "yes mother... I will go there... anything you ask..."

Zack groans again... coming to a little

sephiroth picks up his Masamune, still holding the metal head... and trudges out of the core

Cloud Strife sees Sephiroth out of the corner of his eye

Cloud Strife says, "Holy shit....."

sephiroth walks past Cloud as if he is not even there

Zack groans again

Zack says, "Cloud... kill Sephiroth... he's nuts... he's gonna hurt people... Stop him... he's insane....."

Cloud Strife nods

sephiroth walks out onto the catwalk.. right past Tifa's Dad's body

Cloud Strife grabs Zack's sword and goes after Sephiroth again

sephiroth hears Cloud behind him and thrust his Masamune back... impaling Cloud on it. turns around so he can look at Cloud

sephiroth says, "you pressed your luck..."

Cloud Strife closes his eyes

Cloud Strife says, "no.. I'm not gonna let you... "

Cloud Strife pushes down... feeling the sword tear through his insides... but manages to hoist Sephiroth off of his feet

sephiroth blinks in surprise.. still holding the hilt of the Masamune

Cloud Strife growls

Cloud Strife says, "For everyone.... "

Cloud Strife throws Sephiroth against the side of the reactor and watches him fall into the Mako below... before falling to his knees and passing out

Sephiroth is too shocked to even realize he's floating in Mako for a while. hears his mom again... telling him to sleep... and that he will be awakened when the time is right. doesn't know what she means... but feels the strong Mako energy overloading him. falls asleep as his body is carried off in the flow of the life stream.
